OR, since there are about 115000 people in the discord, with roughly 13% having the mask, we multiply the 13.04 (we'll use 13) by 1000 to get 13k in compensation.

We take the .04 away bc some may have not gotten the mask through discord. If we want to be generous, 10k with this formula.

I still think the 7.5k is more realistic, but even 4k would seem reasonable.

@agile hornet For what it's worth, I'm not sure if it was explained to you but the others are correct - the Devon mask was not "first come first serve" which is the only reason we re-opened it.

The people who got it on stream were just a random set of people who happened to avoid the error - meaning if anything they were the last people to come in, not the first. It'd be disingenuous to say that those who were there right away were somehow "less dedicated" than the people who just so happened to luck out.

So I don't think it's a good idea to add extra rewards to that random assortment of players. They have their prize, and the idea that they should be able to feel superior to the other Yeeps who got there before they did is imo very misguided.

And for what it's worth, I'm sure it feels like there are a lot of Devons right now because everyone who's playing wanted it. But I assure you, the Devon mask is still the rarest item in the game aside from role-specific items.

It is not unfair that they gave a second chance. It was a bug, and also there's more labrats and content creators than that hat it doesn't matter if it's exclusive they're being nice just take it appreciate the devs. What you get someday this game will go away.

They made extra codes for the mask because it made drama throughout the community, a Steve or Nathan mask would make that drama even worse since ppl will start flexing it and other ppl will get mad for not getting the mask, and in the end the only people they are gonna blame is gonna be the devs, so no in my opinion this is a bad idea and only a set up to hate the game and to develop hatred toward amazing developers which don’t deserve any hate!

The thing is, nobody "avoided" the bug, we all faced the bug during the beginning of the codes release however after about 15 seconds those that did stay at the machine did get it as I saw first hand, it took a few more seconds after that to be fully redeemed as I saw with numerous people in my server not being able to redeem at the start but being able to redeem after the bug was over
