A mobile player can type whatever they want, and a chat bubble (or anything, it’s the Trass team’s choice.) will drop, like the first image. It’d be a good idea to add a slowmode (similar to what https://discord.com/channels/1197017602292207666/1197017602770346077 has) to prevent spamming/lag.
From here, I have 2 suggestions on how it could work.
1: it works exactly like an envelope.
Or
2: if a player stands near the note for about a second, a notification will pop up, saying something similar to what the envelope does. Like [username] (mobile) says: [message]”. With this idea, the note also can’t be picked up, to prevent VR players from stealing the mobile player’s messages and ruining their communication.
Mobile player notes is (in my opinion) better than adding voice chat for mobile communication. This is because a mobile player with voice chat could say a slur and fly into another map before you can report them. With notes, you can screenshot their note’s message, preventing them from running. That screenshot can then be reported to discord.
