As stated by the dev team, lab rats aren't supposed to have special permissions (i.e. access to cosmetics, more button coins, special gadgets, etc.) The fact that we still have our badge is huge. This is not only a special permission, but a huge advantage over the other players, especially because most of these items are pvp based gadgets. So, no, I am confident in saying this won't happen

The point of the LAB is for players to give the devs feedback on new features planned for updates. The point is not to have special access to un released items.

Plus every item gets tested because of how many lab rats there are, and that's all the devs need

basically yeah this would ruin balancing and give lab rats extra power, which they are NOT supposed to have. Nathan has specifically stated that Lab Rats are held to a higher standard, but they do not recieve anything other than that when becoming a Lab Rat. Lab Rats are not given any extra power, and if you are caught flexing your Labaratory Scoundrel, you will be removed from the program.
