Make it so you can switch from Play mode to hangout mode.

For Example, I think everyone remembers when you could play hide and seek in Spleef, and I really miss that. So for another example, Outpost. It's hangout mode, so I think they should add a setting where you can make it play mode or hangout mode for any map.
