This doesn’t affect game play btw but anyway all you have to do is grab the block on the tech web (it will be a little tiny version of that block or gadget) and grab the top of the tech web (the weird sign doodad) or the challenge board area and the item can now be placed anywhere and float there

Don't you know how if you hold blocks they don't spawn in unless you bring them further out? Hold the block so it does not spawn in and then grab the tech web (can be done through the top or the challenge board and stuff.) the block stays small and you can replace the tech web and stuff. Yeah, confusing because it's late and my brain ain't braining.

there's a cooldown before spikes can kill you again so if you jump in and out of the spikes quickly they don't kill you over and over again

Place a techweb, grab(but not pull) any item on the techweb, create a new techweb, [the item in your hand will not be removed when the new techweb spawns, so you are free to let go and move it about]

This is actually similar to a very old bug that got patched back in alpha

The techweb wouldn’t respawn your held item when you went away from the techweb…

It only worked with items you either didn’t own, or creative only items

Cuz you could pull on them and not pull them out
