On the regular biome Tech Web, a new item sits at the top right corner: Custom Paint! This item costs 1200 Butt-coins but it's price doesn't stay so high for no reason. When you grab it out of your inventory, it will be the same paint you last used. This seemingly boring item has more to it than you may think however. With the custom paint item you can hold the tip of the paintbrush towards the sky and press the triple lined button on your left controller. A mini menu will appear on the according side of the brush (If the brush is in your left hand, the menu appears on the right side/ If the brush is in your right hand, the menu appears on the left side. This menu allows you to select a custom color for your paint through a sliding system, similar to the images shown. Once selected press the big green button to confirm, or press the small X in the top right corner to exit the menu, and change the color back to what it was previously. This paint item will allow you to get ANY color your imagination can....... imagine..! More features flood the menu though, so let me get to those. First up: the eyedropper tool. When clicked, a plain white paint brush is in your hand.. but when you try to paint items, they don't do anything. Well that's because the paint brush works backwards! Objects you try to paint actually paint your brush, meaning that you can reverse paint a red wood block, and your paint brush is red now. It works the same with the custom colors as well: reverse paint it, and watch as your paint brush becomes that color! Once you are happy with the color on your paint brush, click your trigger and enjoy your new color. On the menu lies yet another option: Lightness and darkness. This option is vertical slider that allows you to choose between white, black, and anything else in-between! Finally sitting in the top left corner of the menu is a reset button that simply resets your custom color back to white. That's all for my idea, and I hope you like it!!

This would ruin dev specific paints. Also they couldn’t do things by paint color anymore like sounds

#

and imagine you lose the color and you have to repaint all the ziplines or whatnot

If we had something like this that paint bucket idea would be better

How many buttcoins will it cost?

Would be difficult to code it that way, it’s easier to just bind it to pushing in a joycon or something

The paint bucket would be better because you can get specific colors, and remember formulas to get them. You also have to pay to get new colors each time. It also ensures that other colors still have a purpose.

This will lag the game like crazy, the amount of different materials needed is crazy and the colour pallet is simple and good as it is right now
