After applying the "In the Surrounded" effect to an enemy Miscrit, it can swap for another, but it will suffer damage.

To balance this, a paralysis effect could be added: 2 paralyze for the allied Miscrit and 1 paralyze for the enemy.

what would be the point though? Like as Mochi pointed out it's sounding like multiple combat effects being bundled into one but why? What creates this mechanic and why even add it when it sounds like it only exists to punish people for switching for advantage?

Then i'd just buff paralysis which is fine as it is we dont need paralysis 2.0 IMO

This mechanic sounds like it's trying too hard to punish people for playing optimally when mechanics already exist to play around someone switching or punish someone for switching too much without trying to continue the battle.

The whole point was precisely that:

  1. Damage is not guaranteed. If the enemy doesn't attempt to escape — there is no damage. This isn't "passive damage"; it's a deterrent.

  2. You suffer too. Unlike Block and Barbed, you don't just cast and forget — you freeze yourself for 2 turns to keep the enemy locked in place.
