I recently downloaded the game on my dad’s gaming pc (yes my dad is a gamer)
And idk who to play as, because to be honest I suck at the game. I’m thinking maybe Pyro or Medic, but idk. Not done with tutorials yet I don’t think? Yeah.

Pyro sounds actively fun to play, but I would also play Medic because A: I like him, and B: every team NEEDS a medic.

I also don’t wanna buy anything for a specific character to get Premium mode, because again idk. Maybe I’ll try to plug in a controller and see how that works??? Idk I always sucked at pc games (haven’t played pc often, also this is my first Valve/Source Engine game and my first FPS)

Medic could probably cure all known diseases if given the funding, but also I don’t think anyone WOULD trust him with said funding. A. He doesn’t have a license in the first place , and B. He would probably cause the world to end within AT LEAST 40 days of getting the funding.

I know that this place is probably just gonna be me yelling at a wall here, but. I got the average 2fort Casual experience today. -In one server, me and another Engie were protecting the intel, but it got boring as no one ever really showed up, so they started emoting, then I emotes, and then we proceeded to beat each other up with our wrenches. -In a different server, there were like four engineers, (I was one of them, again). An Engie looks at me, did the “Spy” voiceline, and when I shook my head they IMMEDIATELY exploded. They did this multiple different times, too, the same guy. -In the third I was Medic and someone got angry at me in chat because I didn’t heal them or something idk, but then they realized that I can’t type so portrayed their feelings with nodding and the like. In the same server, I kept getting killed by a Sniper who was probably cheating.

Shoutout to the guy named “dementia pills” who got autobalanced onto my team and then proceeded to leave, as I never saw them again.

Also also in one of the servers where I was an Engie, a sniper told me to place a sentry down near the door to the intel, but I didn’t have enough metal, so I had to wait near my dispenser + I couldn’t tell them I didn’t have enough. Once I did I built it and they did the voice command “Thanks” SPEAKING of voice, in a server I joined someone with voice speaking YELLED about how gay team fortress two is, and they phrase their opening like they were a YouTuber or something. I mean they weren’t WRONG but I was too scared that they’d say a slur so I left, also it was LOUD

wait EIGHT times??? damn. I played for like 4 hours one time and only got threatened by vote kick once. (Then again I AM an F2P with no cosmetics that would be controversial or ban-worthy)

Oh uh I played again and in one of the uhm servers I was in a spy disguised as ME, an obviously F2P player, and proceeded to use a talk command. Then again idk. Also I danced with others for the first time and learned how to funni killbind 10/10 a game ever. I finished a Pyro contract but the server was 2fort and almost EVERYONE on my team was Engie so we couldn’t make any progress AT ALL, so I left as it was my bedtime. Yeah.

As a spy, I disguised as a Sniper on my team because I was bored, and when someone got close I would use my gun, revealing that I was a spy. Also again as spy (I’m not a spy main I was just bored), I disguised as an Engie on our team and people in chat pointed out how they “love how they have a spy disguised as a friendly engie” I couldn’t actually help with anything but I crouched repeatedly in front of buildings to “repair” it. Whenever someone did the Spy talk command to me (that spies not our spy, heard that at least ten times, all from people on my team) I would open the disguise kit and disguise as an enemy spy. I only started this because I learned how to spycrab

I introduced my mom to tf2 by showing her some funni casual moments and by sending her Meet the Engineer and Meet the Demoman because those were the ones I thought she would like the most. 👍

Pyro is definitely the easiest beginner class. Medic is pretty easy too, but has some strategy and nuance. My favorite is engineer and I have many hundreds of hours as engie.

I find it funny that these specific characters who JUST SO HAPPEN to both be HEAVILY associated with crabs have canonically spoken (the Ap-Sap)

sorry bout the image it’s the only one I could find quickly that had both of them (others DID exist but they had the third Valve Crab, the one from Half-Life, and I just.. don’t like looking at it so. No offense to any headcrab stans out there)

the Ap-Sap is actually SUPER funny in concept. I have like a scene in my head where Spy is regretting bringing the Ap-Sap while it just keeps talking. They have polar opposite personalities I think idk

(I’m not gonna be cringe anymore trust) damn the Sniper and Administrator Streamily signing stream got taken down due to a prop in the background violating TOS. Apparently they had to re-stream it, but when I clicked on the link it was blocked for TOS. Do I just… wait?? Has the stream already ended?? It’s only been like 20 minutes since it was started/supposed to start. Also I didn’t get a notification despite pressing the thingy to get one when it started. I do have notifications on. I hate YouTube, hope they can figure it out.

I was really looking forward to it too…. I guess I can wait, and I already ordered the thingy from it so even if the stream problems happen I’ll still get the product, as it said that they wouldn’t be able to sign all of them on stream.

I’ve played on Skial like once cuz all nearby Uncletopia servers were full. Very fun having the ability to talk to people for the first time. I kept dying and sucked at it but no one really said anything about it. I also heard the average tf2 voice chat moment. People were talking about chickens, the weather, and something else I forgot. It was bizarre. Plus the people who talked were ALSO gaming super hard?? Don’t you need to hold down the button)???
