Both made sacrifices for their loved ones. Both died honorable deaths. Logan also came full circle in his role in the X-men films. Both deaths still mean so much for the characters. Only thing is now Hugh returned as a variant of Wolverine and now RDJ is returning as a new character. Doesn’t diminish the deaths of their previous characters at all

bringing back Logan in DP3 actually worked. His arc wasn't even that bad. He had development that made him stand out from Earth-10005 Logan

I think the worst part of this movie is when deadpool ruined the wolverine mask scene by making jokes, I feel they should've left that part serious for dramatic and tension purposes, and the humor took away from that
