Do you have any idea what the best option against an Iron Fist? Aiming at him with anything is hard
In my sleeve I got the smoke bomb tactic but they just stick to me. Also stop shooting while they block but that doesn't work when in a teamfight (others hit him).

i usually bait his parry with dmg, then shotgun his ahh. it can 2 tap him if u hit ur shots right

but if you feel like you can’t hit your shots, stick in groups near your healers. he can’t win that well in groups

If I may add, try to time your smoke bomb with a (typical) iron fist combo (so they either finish you off with the kick or use it to escape) so as he comes to the end of his melee combo smoke bomb away then just finish him off with shotgun as Spencer said. Assuming he already used his block. (Any iron fist or punisher mains feel free to correct me 😅)

Sorry I didn’t get notified that you mentioned me. So it wasn’t a bad idea but I think you waited far too long to combo. You both have your ults almost as soon as you cap the obj to start your push (at 3:48). You guys don’t actually ult until 7:34. Holding your ult for 4 minutes is not good. I think around 6 mins you type to tell her to combo but by then it was too late. It should’ve happened way sooner. In the 4 minutes you held your ults, you could’ve used them and had another one by the time you actually decided to do it. Then you needlessly died because you were afk typing to your team. Your whole team made a lot of mistakes that cost you guys the game but your biggest mistake, aside from the other things I mentioned in my notes, was holding your ultimate for too long.

The lock on is a lil janky tho no? If you jump and smoke bomb away before the melee combo stun finishes shouldn’t it reset the lock?

I mean that’s just a small add on imo tbh, what you said is one of the best way to counter him

Imo, it's just not enough, and it's really hard to bhop once or twice which gives you a bit more distance, and the terrain doesn't make it easier sometimes.

To nitpick I’d just say use your shield slightly more, and remember to pattycake if your team is dead.

All in all you played almost near perfect. Sorry I couldn’t help much there just arent any overbearing mistakes you made. 🫶🏽

There's really no right answer for this. I personally vod review when I lose a very winnable game or a game where I know I made a really impactful mistake. I dont vod review regularly though.

If there is a mistake that you're consistently making then you might benefit from VOD review before or after every play session.
