Chronovium is a material created by the Entanglement that is capable of a lot of unobtanium things
One of the things it’s used for this season is Doom 2025 using it to look through time to find the answer in a dream he had
Gambit’s cards are also Chronovium-infused which give them new abilities

Chronovium was part of Doom 2025’s deal with Dracula and Doom 2099 was on Krakoa to make a deal with Emma Frost and the mutants to gain access to the island’s Chronovium reserves

so i read a few of the latest ones and these comics definitely aren't in the same continuity. for example, in the comic, gambit leaves rogue on earth to go pull a heist in the collectors gallery with the help of cloak, dagger, and rocket, while also leaving a note for her telling her what he's doing. whereas in the game, rogue and gambit are in the grand garden, when gambit leaves to go pull off the heist all by himself without telling rogue. so ig it could be an alternate universe, but its not the same narrative being told within the game's lore

Is there any known meaning of this? I know he never got his later lore sections, is that where we most likely would have seen the answer?

I'm not a comic reader, but I research their timelines heavily. Angela was originally named Aldrif, a daughter of Odin before undergoing a rather Moses-style journey to become Angela, and she has an amazing story. So does Heven. I have loved her ever since I read this from the Marvel wiki:

"The Queen of Angels was the monarch of Heven.[2] She and the other Angels were paid by Odin to prevent Asgardians from going to Earth for dubious purposes.

The materialist nature of her species led the Angels to be paid by enemies of Asgard to help them. The Queen of Angels offered Odin to double cross her payers in exchange of a bigger reward. Odin was extremely disgusted by the Angels lack of honor, something the Queen felt was meaningless as she preferred material rewards, and refused the offer. This prompted her to declare war on Asgard.[3]

During a battle against Odin, Freyja and the Einherjar in Heven, the Queen of Angels snuck into Asgard and got hold of Odin's newborn, Aldrif. She showed herself in front of Odin and Freyja, and demanded they retreated or Aldrif was to die. Odin refused to surrender to blackmail, for which the Queen stabbed Aldrif in the heart. She then fled,[2] and left the presumably-dead baby to be disposed.[4] Odin later used his powers to cut Heven from the other Nine Realms and Yggdrasil."

Anyway, here is where the aforementioned Moses vibe lands. There is some nicer angel who finds her (dying?) as a baby, saves her life, and decides to raise her as an Angel, literally putting the word "Angel" in her name. Guess who grew up yo become the greatest warrior in a society of warriors and kill that garbage Queen? MY GIRRRRRRL!

So, there's not a Queen of Heven right now, and the "General" holds the throne in the absence of a Queen and the General is called the Hand of Heven which basically means Angela is in charge.

So, I just read the new holiday gallery card, and it reminded me of something we've been seeing for a while now. When exactly did Cloak and Dagger get unstuck? In their one story from Season 0, Reed managed to separate them temporarily, but after Cloak saved Dagger by teleporting her away from some vampires, they ended up stuck together again, only allowing one at a time to be out in the world again. Did I miss something, or is this just another detail from Season 0 that they did away with?

I'm under the assumption that the Collector is going to employ Deadpool and Elsa Bloodstone, Deadpool is going to be Deadpool and mess his plans up, and the Collector might send Elsa Bloodstone after him as maybe a minor "antagonist" for the first half of the season before she also leaves the Collector to join the roster. That, at least, is what I gather from the last gallery card and the Deadpool trailer they released.

I say first half of the season like we're still getting a substantial amount of lore like we did up through Season 3. Season 4 was the beginning of lore kind of seeming to be given a little less focus. These past two seasons really haven't given us that much compared to all the other seasons, and neither of them really seem to have had a real resolution. I get that Season 4's storyline is probably going to be continued, and Seasons 5 and 6 are pretty much connected into two parts, but they still don't feel like complete parts.

sure knull may have almost won in his season but that's because jean is a fraud as always, and rocket's genius solved it. but there was much less of a risk of him ACTUALLY succeeding because of all the heroes around that time and all the ones that were phoenix-boosted just out there on the surface ready to fight

doom24 almost did absorb shou-lao's chi, i'll give it that, but the tournament kinda saved shou-lao and iron fist. and i don't know if the tournament happened or not but doom still hasn't gotten shou-lao's powers

ultron actually infected almost everyone with the techno-virus, INCLUDING doom99. you can see it in a panel from the s2 comic. and technically ultron did win in his season too, it was either get erased entirely with mars/arakko by the chronovium in doom99's supply or get defeated by the heroes and reunite krakoa with arakko. we all know what happened in lore (doom99 had to use a huge bit of chronovium to erase ultron, only way to beat him at that point)

By this metric I could just take a picture of spongebob or something, add butterflies to it and then say "Look guys its Psylocke. How could you NOT know it's her, don't you see the butterflies and the vaguely wing shaped stuff on her? I know it looks nothing like her aside from three features that could be tacked onto any woman character, but it's definitely her."

The sword isn't even the same sword, her face isn't the same, she doesn't have the same body (Her waist, chest, and legs do not look like the in game version at all) and to top it all off, she doesn't even have the same hair texture. psylocke has pin straight hair that's got a fray and this new woman who is supposed to be Psylocke has curly hair. She does not look anything like Psylocke, if you put her and Psylocke next to each other with 0 context to the dumb lore they made for the skinline you too would not know lol.

I enjoy the skins in the game but they have literally been making the girls not look like themselves for multiple skinlines. The Sue skin thats dessert themed is just straight up not the same woman lol. It's a cute skin, but does it look anything like Sue Storm aside from the 4 emblem on her skirt?? no it does not T_T

People have been wanting more X-men to join for ages, it's heavily theorized we will be getting more of them when Cyclops comes, one of the X-men people wanted is Kitty, we're getting a "Cat-themed" kind of update in the future with Black Cat and White Fox, which are already two animal themed heros. Animals in general are a pretty big theme in this new update with Devil Dino and Cosmo and Throg in the picture since the Collector has a lot of "animals" on display, Kitty Pryde is literally named after cats....

Imo it makes a lot of sense for people to at least guess that they would add Kitty, considering all of these things.

I’d like to hear other people’s opinions on who may show up in Season 8 in regards to the lore and what is known in Rivals already. IMO, I feel like Season 8 will follow the mutants lost after the time scale entanglement due to the time being around the same time as the Hellfire Gala (Season 2) last year. With that in mind, I think Cyclops will 100% be apart of the lore, but I can’t say if he’ll be a playable character for Season 8. However, he is one of my choices as a playable character. Along Cyclops, there’s also Jubilee, Professor X, and Colossus, who I can see releasing with him.

Heros: Silver Surfer (Strategist) (Flying), Franklin Richards (Duelist/Strategist). (Teenager/Adult Franklin btw).

The Taa 2 Convoy vechile could be a piece of Chronovium that was in the planet Galactus devoured. It would probably be like a bucket on wheels or like some sort of container with Chronovium.
I think in the 2nd map I cooked up, the devs could explore some 0 gravity stuff, similar to the floaty stuff on the wakanda maps.

Conspiracy Theory: I think NetEase realized that 2 month seasons were infeasible to keep up, so now they are going to spread out most seasons into 2 seasons. This season's story is heavily a "part 2" to the previous which we haven't seen before, though we have seen "part 2" in the second half in some seasons. Additionally the battlepasses for both seasons are extremely similar, with the Year One cosmetics, which makes perfect thematic sense to be in the Collector's collection. And some stuff in S5's battlepass didn't make sense. Like why did we get Pirate Namor in S5 when the pirate storyline was in S6? Additionally we didn't get a new competitive map in S5, but S6 will add one.

I don't blame NetEase for doing this since they are pumping out a ton of content and having multiple seasons arches might help them manage that.

Small correction: Doom and Doom 2099 broke the Multiverse which caused Chronovium to grow in multiple areas throughout the Chronoverses
As far as I know, Chronovium didn’t exist before the Entanglement

Also Krakoa is from 2025 (and presumably so is Arakko) but were transported by the Entanglement into the 2099 Chronoverse

Yeah I'm trying to remember specifically where it's detailed but it's been confirmed that Knowhere was turned into the giant black panther head you see in one of the map previews. It might be in lore from one of the guardians or the map text

That's not to say Knowhere doesn't also exist as it does traditionally though, I can't remember if the seedy bar gambit met with rocket at in his lore was there or somewhere else. Don't have access to the game atm to double check
