the marvel rivals infinity comic released the last issue today, not sure there's all that much to glean from the comics but they do have a few key details that may or may not be given ingame:

• Spider-Zero wants to plug the Web of Life and Destiny into cyberspace to quickly repair it, while the Master Weaver wants to wait and gather enough gather Chronovium until they have enough to strengthen the web and allow it to repair itself. He's opposing Spider-Zero because he believe it's too dangerous.
• Master Weaver also wants Chronovium regardless of the Web, so he can maintain his rule
• Without the Web, the 2099 Chronoverse would be cut off from the other Chronoverses (at least, Namor claims this is the case)
• The Web gets repaired by both connecting it to cyberspace AND strengthening it with Chronovium (Unsure what exactly happens ingame so this may or may not conflict with the story the game presents)

We can make a good guess that the story of the Tokyo 2099 map in the Conquest gamemode is that we're collecting Chronovium for the Master Weaver (or possibly, to keep it away from him)

Yeah the way the vampire stuff is written in the game is all super weird to me. It's all written super-vaguely. When they are fighting vampires it's usually left intentionally vague if the methods are lethal or not.

There's no talk about the current death toll, or how many people have turned.

There's no talk about how the city is operating under eternal night. Spidey's story indicates its been going on for at least several weeks. Do people still work and shop and such? If not, how is everyone not starving to death at this point? The island they're on is cut off from the outside world.

It's like they thought "this will be a cool premise for one of our stories" and then turned off their brains.

A wounded sea monster came and disrupted the concert, and she managed to heal it, which momentarily stopped it and Namor stopped his invasion for a bit. He promised to return though, and Luna actually had him shaking in his boots.

Granted she also does healing when she's not demonstrated that before, but that's at least understandable because otherwise she wouldn't be able to be a strategist (and it's reasonable for that to just be reinforcing teammates with forcefields rather than "conventional" healing)

Not really a complaint because I'm fine with the devs being creative with how they interpret a character's powers to make interesting gameplay, and her playstyle is quite fun

There’s 2 main Doom variants. Doom ‘24 and Doom ‘99. 2024 Doom is from the NYC timeline and is actively helping Dracula to obtain Chronomancy. Doom ‘99 is currently unknown.

Also Reed doesn’t want to use the Darkhold he’s just trying to find the relevant pages to keep them away from Stark and Marc, because it would harm innocents as well.

It's a good guess because the devs did say that he won't be a separate hero but I don't think there's any indication as to what the mystery skin is atm. It also definitely wouldn't make sense for Red Hulk to be locked behind a promotion, so if it is him, they'd likely add a way to buy the skin directly too

I think personally Red Hulk is different enough that he could have his own completely different kit, but visually (especially when taking skins into account) he's got pretty much an identical body shape to the Hulk, so if Hulk and Rulk both ended up with skins that completely changed or cover up their skin color, it'd be harder to tell who's who than it is with Cloak and Invisible Woman lol

Kit ideas:

• Unlike Hulk, he spawns in Red Hulk form
• Main mechanic is the heat meter. Basically the opposite of Thor's thorforce, its gained by taking damage rather than dealing damage
• Basic attack is a gun, not punching (Could be the minigun from Agents of Smash, the golden gun from World War Hulks, or just a shotgun)
• Abilities are focused on area control
• Can jump like the Hulk, leaves a fiery aoe on the ground wherever he lands
• His abilities get stronger the higher his heat meter is and using them lowers the meter, but if the meter gets too high, then he reverts to Thunderbolt Ross in a fiery explosion
• Ross turns back to Red Hulk automatically after being in Ross form for X seconds. Wields a Magnum and can throw a frag grenade while in Ross form
• Red Hulk's ult maxes out his heat meter and can't revert to Ross for the duration of the ult so all abilities are max strength. Leaves a trail of fire on the ground as he moves around, and his basic attack changes to punches for the duration

Completely different kit from the Hulk while staying faithful to source material

Widow (2099) breaks into Alchemax, finds Cap (2099), thaws him, he disappears in an explosion, she has hope.
He goes on the run for a bit, meets Logan, and he gets him to Space Wakanda.
He then takes a portal from Wakanda to Hydra Base to save Bucky (2024) and Hawkeye (2024).
Bucky is struggling with the Hive tendrils they put in him. Cap and Hawkeye work together to calm him.

For clarification, Logan is also from 2024, and Wakanda is from a different Chronoverse but one that is also in the year 2024 (presumably).

Nah that’s at a different point in the story we don’t know when exactly tho, Bucky does overload the portal in that gate at one point in his story but it’s not exactly the same. We believe it’s a second time in the game.

Well there are 4 chronoverses, made up of 4 (or more) timelines in total. All from the same earth, no alternate universes. However, most stories stretch across multiple of them. For example, Wanda starts in the Collapsing Chronoverse, is contacted by Strange from the Present Chronoverse, moves to Limbo, then to Krakoa in 2099 (though it’s from Present) and then to the Present herself.

More or less, you can connect all of them. There are some spotty things here and there that can be made up for with gallery cards and voice lines, but some pieces are still missing.

Basically, both were experimenting with control over the timestream, but Doom 2024 got mad realizing he couldn't have his full control as he desired and screwed everything up. Now both Dooms are actively trying to profit from the Entanglement, with Doom 24 allying with Dracula to learn about their form of chronomancy, whilst Doom 2099 is being much more mysterious rn and working from the shadows.

Dracula at one point was approached by Doom 24 after the entanglement, and using Blood Chronovium, left New York City in a state of eternal night where he and his vampires could thrive.

It's Krakoan-era Apocaplyse which explained most of his plans is to get an army of strong mutants to go back and help his wife. Presumably, that was resolve now and Apocalypse wants to ascend to be a Mutant Warrior God similar to Thor to protect the nation. It's how the Krakoan-era was resolved in the comics anyway when Phoenix Force and Scarlet Witch carved out a piece of the White Hot room to serve as mutant's personal heaven.

On Klyntar, the Guardians were sent to investigate, but were then trapped there, so they're trying to tighten Knull's seal, which is a temporary solution. Venom arrived there to kill him with the All Black Necrosword, but was unable to draw it from the dead Celestial orbiting Klyntar, and crash-landed on the planet itself. Adam Warlock spoke briefly with Odin, learned about the corruption, then saw it himself with Bast, and was drawn to Klyntar by the apparently Not dead Celestial's voice. All of this telepathically. So he's there to presumably stop Knull as well, and is collaborating with Venom.

Plus, MK also mentions everyone on the gallery card within that same text, minus Warlock who cannot feasibly be there. Everyone else can feasibly be there. Bucky is originally from that timeline, it's likely by this point he's somewhat better and wanted to go back and help. Tokyo 2099 is different from Wakanda + Klyntar. I also thought the same earlier, but someone corrected me that they are different chronoverses. So now I thought IEW (Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda) + Klyntar might've been Collapsing since different pantheons are being corrupted and might be dying and the Unstable Timeline might've been the one where the gods are at constant war with each other, but given Mr Fantastic's lore that might not been the case and it may be vice versa

There was a preceding paragraph where the Collapsing Chronoverse is actually a mix of different timelines. All these three characters mentioned might be from different timelines, but they are all currently in this Collapsing timeline.

I knew about Stephen Strange in the Astral Plane. I just misread a paragraph from Mr. Fantastic's first story:

"Stephen Strange recently returned from a trip through the Astral Plane, where he says he communicated with heroes from yet another dimension — one where powerful deities were locked in an endless war for omnipotent power and total control."

I misread it as that's where the Astral Plane is currently located but Strange just communicated from it to the Collapsing Timeline

it's hard to say if the midnight missions gallery card art is really canon or if they just wanted to put all of the skins together, so who knows if warlock is actually in NYC right now

Logically all these events aren't taking place at the same time, but they're not necessarily in any specific order one after another and there's probably events that we don't know about yet going on between some of them

Like for example, the spring festival gallery card has Star Lord, Black Widow, and Iron Fist all in the intergalactic wakandan empire with Shuri, hosting a spring festival event for Iron Fist. That means Star Lord if not all the guardians had to yknow, leave Klyntar at some point OR this happened before they were sent to Klyntar, which means events arent necessarily in order. None of the results of the Klyntar map are "final" - Knull's not permanently dealt with in either ending, but at least for now he's no longer an immediate problem, which means that the GotG would leave and Venom+Warlock would leave to go find a way to get the necrosword or w/e to kill Knull

i think i'm going to lose my mind trying to put them in a cohesive order of time without relying on the timestream entanglement obviously messing it all up or alternate versions rising because if any of that is true that means mantis WASN'T with the collector (DIRECT contradiction to her lore and what is happening with jeff/psylocke) because she's present in klyntar attack victory, and adam ISN'T with venom and instead sealing knull with the guardians of the galaxy and racing against venom trying to kill knull instead, because he's ALSO in klyntar attack victory

lore accurately the ones on klyntar are star lord, groot, rocket and adam, venom

defense win on klyntar implies that venom managed to kill knull and keep the guardians away from the essence? or took over knull's essence at least

So I just tested it on Iron Man and Peni Parker. Iron Man’s soul has his suit on but Peni’s soul is without her suit. Which is interesting. Peni’s suit is controlled by a spider but it is considered its own entity which would support that Venom and Eddie are one.

im pretty sure it's because Eddie and Venom are bonded together, to the point where this is just how they look now. you can see more skull-like features on Venom's face.

It's either Blade or Black Panther, under control of Dracula. The gallery panel you're referring to is Midnight Missions I'm pretty sure, and you can see a black man in white armor (with panther motif and purple coloration) in the art for that same card. Bloodstorm One is involved, yes, but that's not who Moon Knight was referring to in that case.
