While they might not be fully outdoors, Krakoa and K'un-Lun do have a fair share of natural landscapes/foliage. And a Waterfall! But there could be a few more maps that lean into this.

All the urban Levels are at night; I didn't notice until you pointed it out. They could stand to add some diversity to that .

/shrug, I don't think the art style is a universal cup of tea. But I appreciated them more once I saw the map reveal trailer shots, which do more to advertise the vibe and story of the map, and realized there's a lot of stuff my eyes just glaze over while playing. They put some work into some pretty diverse environments, but "go down lane and fight" kind of overrides everything in game.

The collector map feels very cramped (I played it, but had to do so in a custom lobby).
As for Arakko, the mess is that outside of a few setpieces along the payload, there's a lot of branching paths with visual similarity that you can get lost in. One time on defense I fell into a hole and had to punch open the wall to escape as the only way out.

It's not all bad, I think Arakko is just a special kind of bad.

Central Park and midtown also take place indoors and have some cramped side paths. But they have lots of open areas along the main path for team fights, the side paths are also very navigable and expansive, and are visually unique.

I'm not adept at level design when it comes to Team Shooters, so I'm not sure how things stand on fairness, balance, map design, etc.

Yggsgard has the reappearing Terrain that Loki Ressumons, 2099 has Spider-Drones that hold terrain up in the air sometimes, although I don't think it's prominent in Shin-Shibuya as it is in the Islands themselves or Ninomaru

The latter are rarely relevant though so nobody really notices them, unlike Klyntar, Hydra, or Yggsgard where that means sightlines are constantly changing

The Map Category/Theme also informs of the map gimmick, although both have an Elder of the universe ruling them, they don't share a gimmick and are their own things

Although, I do think that perhaps other areas of their respective Elder could share gimmicks if later added and maybe then we get groupings, I do want more Shield Wall maps even if just to explore more possible uses of them for side paths

Who activates it?

There is a drone up in the sky that scans the whole map automatically at a certain interval with the alarm

Defenders can also either be cracked at securing picks or physically just barring any entrance into the building itself

A few vames in I ran into a fellow enemy champ Jeff who didn't even know where to throw enemies once he swallowed them so he got him and his backline killed by panic ulting and swimming in circles in prison

It's hard to entry in the map cause everyone is quite literally funneled to the entrance

Some can try flying over the wall, or go through the coffee shop to catch a few off guard but the distance from there to the... [middle block?] is too great to do any real impact

Healers stay all the way at the back, feels impossible to dive in with all the pressure on the frontline 💀

Everyone's scanned every minute, a weird pathway that cuts across enemy spawn and your spawn and an odd open area near the fountain where I presume they expected all fights to take place? But it's clear that some degree of coordination or common knowledge is required to effectively make use of those key areas
