2D world maps are never a one to one to a 3D globe due to some degree of distortion.

Depending on the map projection, the size of countries can vary widely. For example, the Mercator projection would have you believe that North America is roughly the same size as Africa, when it's actually much smaller.

The shapes of places, especially smaller locations, are more than likely not being represented properly as, of course, you lose the smaller details at larger scales.

In addition, this can lead to the distance being misrepresented. And depending on how the map get segmented, the distance can make two points a lot closer or farther away from one another. And the orientation of locations can change as well.

Odin archives is just a terrible dom map point, stupid jump pads, two floors for no reason, too much visual clutter. The other two points are decent tho.

I 100% agree that there will be a future Savage Land map in a future season (I would love that as a Marvel and Paleontology fan), but I actually don't think they used a raptor in the MVP animation.

I think the dinosaur used in the MVP animation is actually Meraxes, a large Carcharodontosaur from Cretaceous South America. It's a pretty big dinosaur that has a toe claw for pinning down prey.

Of course I don't think the Marvel Rivals design team seriously considered what species the dinosaur is meant to be but I think Meraxes is the closest fit

it's fun to speculate on things lol (also the flying reptiles, or pterosaurs as they're called, are 100% Pteranodon)

Resource rumble isn’t fun. It really isn’t. Like the mode itself and its concept aren’t entertaining. Like yeah it’s the cousin of a domination match but, just walking to points and seeing how ugly this map is, it’s very unsatisfying. Idk why this was greenlit by netease. Yes there are people who actually do enjoy this mode but, the major negative feedback from it shows that this shouldn’t be kept in QP. Leave it in the arcade category so people who seek to play that mode can play it.

hmmm yeah thats difficult then, because like you said they don't really have dashes or anything. of course human torch has flight but if jeff just jumps off the map with the players it doesn't matter, and you already said you only play him sometimes anyways. idk the best advice i can give is when you hear the sound he makes before his ult, try your best to get out of it because thats all you can really do. with venom you can try swinging away if your reaction is fast enough
