that was my argument though the skill gap that you and the enemy support has to have to solo dive them is massive, if it’s a good Magik vs a mid cloak the Magik loses. You have to be like 3x better than the cloak is to dive them, otherwise they just bubble you

It is still quite rare for me in the first place to have no abilities. The exception would be like a tank or a character with a low amount of abilities with strong primary damage

she has been for me lately if she has a bubble; the burst heal makes her completely undiveable by you alone

and on top of that she has fade which lasts for 3s which is half of her effective bubble cooldown

the only way to dive her is if cloak has the reaction speed of a pineapple or you have multiple divers (which again goes back to what I was saying)

or you manage to hit her in that three second window and hope the other enemy support isn’t paying attention

or she just wasn’t saving bubble for you which from my experience is usually just a bad cloak; I’ve even had ones without bubble listen to my footsteps and just fade to high ground and comm I’m about to dive

which granted that is fair since they’re paying attention, but it’s still annoying how many ways of stopping me she alone has

I haven’t even talked about pattycaking, the buffs to base healing like Luna has made pattycaking even worse to try to break through

yeah I don’t usually die to her, but bubble makes me have to disengage and come back. Issue is when I come back, she still has bubble cause of its short cd

only way is if she doesn’t have bubble for whatever reason, and the only value you’re getting from doing that is getting out an effective 6s cooldown

it’s not like lamps where it’s a super strong ability on a long cooldown, it’s a strong ability on a comically low cd

He has an offensive projectile, a damaging secondary projectile with a charge-mechanic that has a CC component, a shield that acts more like a counter block move than a traditional shield, and his self and teammate based bubble that you have to actively choose on the fly where to place. The bubbles also recharge his highest form of damage so proper rotation of the bubbles also improves his damage output.

And then he has an ult that has more applications than most people even think about.

Two things matter most with Magneto, and are probably why people think he’s annoying to play

You have to be accurate, and you have to have good positioning.

Just standing out in the middle of the lane shooting randomly is poor resource management

He has a slow af reload, and he has a relatively long time between shots. So every single shot placement matters for his uptime. Missing a bunch is way more noticeable on him

Also save your hook for grabbing tanks into ur team or to hook in supports. Avoid hooking dps characters since they usually have at least 1 movement ability

i feel like given the gallery cards it seems likely that season 8 will be cyclops/devil dinosaur. captain marvel isn’t impossible but it feels more likely that devil and scott will be there

they’ve been teasing scott for a long time as well as devil and I can’t think of a reason for the devil dinosaur plush to be there other than to tease a hero

I had lost 8 games in a row for differing reasons in each one; and worst part is before that big loss streak I had a mini one before it; so I lost a ton of elo over the span of 2 days; and now I have to claw my way back up; plus it ruined my previously good winrate

Well rogue in the lore like sapped a lot of marvel’s powers and with them memories so that’s why people draw the conclusion that captain marvel is involved
