We’re always striving to improve your Discord experience, and we have some great news! Based on your feedback we’ll be transitioning from our current LFG bot used for joining voice channels to another bot: TempVoice.

Why the Change?

We’ve encountered some issues with the previous bot and heard your feedback. We will be moving to TempVoice to enhance your experience in our voice channels.

What to Expect:

Tomorrow, our team will be testing and setting up TempVoice to ensure everything runs smoothly. Keep an eye out for an "NEW LFG LIVE" announcement from @hollow meteor , who will inform you when the new bot is live.

📌 Major Fixes

Incorrect Data Displayed - We’ve resolved data errors related to platform switching and rank calculations. To ensure your stats display correctly, please bind the platform account you’d like shown on your card and log in with that account to sync your data.
"No Account Found" Verification Issue - If you see this error, head to #🎁game-account-binding to rebind your account. It’ll be resolved within 24 hours.
Missing Character Display - All character illustrations are now fully added and ready to show off.
Confusion About Commands - Need help using different card types? Check the pinned message in #rivals-profile for a quick guide.

We’re excited to announce that Marvel Rivals now supports Discord Profile Widgets! Players can now showcase their in‑game stats directly on their Discord profile through a dedicated Marvel Rivals widget.

🔹 What’s a Profile Widget?

Widgets are customizable sections on your Profile Board that let you highlight your favorite games, current rotation, or wishlist. With the new Marvel Rivals Game Stats Widget, you’ll be able to:

Display your Marvel Rivals profile stats (e.g. matches played, favorite heroes, achievements).
Add the widget to your Profile Board so friends and server members can see your progress.
Customize how Marvel Rivals appears alongside your other games.

🔹 How to Add the Widget

Press your avatar icon in the bottom-left corner, then select your avatar again to open your profile (desktop or browser only).
Add Marvel Rivals Profile Widgets to the Board section.
After setting up the widgets, you need to complete account linking to display your personal profile data. If you haven’t linked your account yet, tap the Connect button to proceed.

Following up on our previous [server profile card announcement](#server-news message) and [optimization update](#server-news message), we’ve noticed some lingering questions about player profile cards. Here’s a quick refresher to clear things up:

✨ Profile Card & Character Display Info ✨

Your Profile Card will always show the same hero and nameplate as your main lobby selection.
If you change your default lobby hero or nameplate, the update will appear on your Profile Card within about 30 minutes. Thanks for your patience!
If the artwork still doesn’t appear, and it’s for a newly released skin, please reach out via @torpid fulcrum and submit your feedback!
To show your data from a specific platform, make sure you first bind your in‑game character (UID) to Discord - not your platform account.
After binding, log in with that character on the desired platform (PC, PS, XBOX) and its data will be shown. The data displayed always corresponds to the character you are currently logged into.
If you’re playing across multiple platforms, the system will record the last platform you logged into and display that data on your Profile card.
Feel free to jump into #rivals-profile and share your Player Profile Card with the community! Looking Forward from hearing back more feedback from the community!

We’ve rolled out LFG Bot V2 with several quality-of-life improvements to make finding groups faster, cleaner, and more accurate. Huge thanks to everyone who’s been using the bot and sharing feedback!

🔧 What’s New in V2:

1️⃣ Streamlined Questions & Smarter Input Flow
After clicking [[Send LFG Request]](#find-teammates message), you’ll be guided through the form to fill in your details and submit your teammate request.
Basic information is saved as long-term preferences; you’ll only need to select your server and platform the first time. Need to change them later? Just use the [[Update preference]](#find-teammates message) option.

2️⃣ Improved Post Filtering
By filling out the form, you can use more detailed criterias to filter LFG requests, making it easier for you to find the right teammates faster.

3️⃣ Automatic Post Expiration
To keep LFG posts relevant, the bot checks activity every 6 hours and will automatically mark a post as expired if there’s no new activity within 24 hours.

4️⃣ Close Your LFG Post Anytime
Once you no longer need teammates, you can close your LFG post at any time. Use the /close-request command to manually close your current LFG request.
✨ These updates should make the LFG experience smoother and more reliable for everyone. Give it a try and let us know what you think!

🔧 LFG System Update

We’ve rolled out several improvements to the LFG system to make finding teammates and managing groups smoother. Head over to #find-teammates try out these updated features.
These changes build on the recent voice channel permission tools, giving LFG hosts more control over their groups.

🆕 What’s New

🎛 Moderation Panel for VC Hosts

When you create an LFG voice channel, you’ll now have access to a moderation panel in the VC chat, allowing you to manage your group more easily.
This panel includes tools such as:
• Remove players from the VC
• Blacklist players from joining
• Whitelist players when needed
• Adjust player limits

👥 Updated Team Size Limits

We’ve adjusted teammate limits to better match different modes:

Custom / Other modes: Up to 12 players
Standard modes: 1 Host and up to 5 players
The system now prevents selecting more than 5 players for non-custom modes to avoid mismatches.

🔄 Clearer VC Status Updates

To reduce confusion, when an LFG voice channel is deleted due to inactivity, its status will now update inside the request thread. This prevents broken links or lingering messages that previously made it seem like the VC still existed.

These improvements are designed to make forming teams, managing voice channels, and coordinating matches much easier for everyone using LFG.
