It's really easy to accidentally que into the wrong crew size since the crew size selection is hidden behind the game mode selection menu. There needs to be a better indicator of what kind of server you are entering, maybe some colored/shaped icons next to the "begin expedition" button to tell you which crew sizes you will be queuing for.

Well... actually... you may NOT be missing it at all. There's a bug where you can be put into multi-crew lobbies despite selecting solo.
This just happened to me earlier, but I was fortunate enough that nobody noticed I was solo, and most groups kept their distance. Mostly.
