Well yes they were above but they fell into it. It's very rare cuz gp's like bow and axe have activation hitboxes that then activate another animation. That activation hit box is small and under the character so no, your friend wouldn't be able to be hit regularly. BUT, the gp got activated triggering the second animation and they got hit by THAT. It's like getting hit by the axe gp swing but cuz bow's is "single target" and fast, it almost never happens.

The scythes behind mordex's head are bearly visable even from here so imagine what it would look like as a thumbnail. I'd recommend trying to either remove them for less cluter or make them bigger and tild the head of the scythe to the top right edge and try and see if that looks better
