Still not sure why I can no longer bind my Left Shift (or Right Shift for that matter) to Dodge. It always resets. I can bind it other keys.

I can use Shift to dodge, even if it is not bound. But I cannot gravity cancel. It's driving me crazy.

gauntlets dlight dair and blasters dlight recovery require a dashjump. hold the down button before pressing dodge to avoid chase dodging. blasters dlight recovery requires ~130 damage to be consistent

gauntlets dlight recovery and dlight nair require a jump then a forward chase dodge. dlight nair is much harder, you can find tutorials online.

its simple you just gotta jump onto the wall (do it closer to the top so you actually slide high enough to get onstage) and you'll legit just slide up aslong as you dont press anything

its a normal thing to do specially when starting, sig spamming is something you should fix unless you sig spam but with a purpose or plan, there are diamond sig spammer that climb by literally sig spamming the "right way" just learn the true combos, they will build damage without giving too much window for punishes if you miss, and also works as finishers. try to use sigs only when your certain u're gonna hit them or when you look to finish a stock (red health bar)

Hey yall, I'm getting back into the game after stopping around when boots came out and am currently plat 1. I've been pretty much losing every game into boots players, I mainly play Asuri and Ragnir, recently a bit of Rupture for fun. I feel like I get prio'd out of pretty much every interaction, my normal katars aproaches like dair, and slight just lose into boots slight and backdash slight which really makes it difficult to avoid getting counter hit every time I try to go in. If I try to play stacked and in the air using nair and sair I just get brought back down to the floor and it kind of just feels hopeless. I would try to counterhit them but so far it seems like boots covers itself really well with high prio close range hits even after whiffing. I just don't understand what I can do as a Katars player when boots just takes prio with the same couple attacks over and over

it really feels like playing into lance for the first time again, just a bunch of seemingly unnavoidable hits and once I start to get put in a string I can't bring myself out until I'm already off map
