Hello everyone. So for the past 7 days (ever since the last patch) I have had non-stop roll backs & lag whenever I play on my switch 2 in particular.

Even when it shows full green bars on the top right I am encountering this issue, and when I play on other supported systems such as Playstation & computer I am not encountering this issue at all.

Do you have any recommendations for what can solve this, or can the Switch 2 version of the game's code be examined to see if there is a potential issue ever since the last update?

So I've been getting a ton of lag, especially input lag after upgrading from a 6800xt to a 5070 ti (AMD to NVIDIA). I've uninstalled AMD drivers, installed NVIDIA drivers, set the settings and stuff already, and tried reinstalling the game. Today's update improved it just enough to make it playable, but it still sucks horribly and feels like I'm playing on east servers when I'm in west. (This lag is still there on local/offline matches, so it can't be my internet)

just pick a character or weapon you like and get well acquainted with them

its about mindset. Dont go into ranked with the idea of the goal being to win and get elo. go in with the mindset and earn experience

In Brawlhalla, your hammer dLight → sAir is missing because of timing, not speed. You’re likely jumping too early or too late, which throws off the combo. The key is to do dLight, wait a tiny split second, then press jump + attack together while holding forward so the sAir comes out instantly. Don’t press jump first and then attack—do them almost at the same time. Practice the rhythm “hit…pause…jump + attack” and it’ll start connecting consistently

In Brawlhalla that happens because your in-game name is linked to your Steam username so when you change it too often it can bug out or stick to a random generated name like that to fix it just go to your Steam profile edit your name again to what you actually want and give it a bit of time to sync sometimes restarting the game or Steam helps too and if it still doesn’t change just wait a little since it usually updates on its own

In Brawlhalla there’s no real “speedrun” for getting an Imugi tier 3 skin since it’s based on playing and upgrading the legend but you can make it faster by grinding efficiently just play modes where you get the most XP like ranked or free for all and focus on dealing damage and getting KOs since that gives more progress also stick to Imugi only so all your XP goes into leveling it up using XP boosts if you have them helps a lot too and playing longer matches where you can farm damage is better than short games if you stay consistent and grind smart you’ll unlock tier 3 way faster

yeah a lot of people get that after updates it’s usually not your laptop but the game files or cache bugging out reinstalling fixing it kinda proves it was probably corrupted files from the update sometimes it only lags when characters move because of stutter or shader loading issues not actual fps drops if it happens again try verifying files on Steam instead of full reinstall also update your graphics drivers and close background apps just in case but yeah you’re not the only one updates sometimes mess things up for people

I just checked my glory after finishing placement matches, and I only have 750 (I had 570 before starting ranked matches) and the numbers line up with the stats on my Corehalla page. Based on that, it seems reasonable to assume you receive glory after each match based on victory or performance, but receive glory based on your peak elo at the end of the season. Unless this was an unintentional distribution of glory and they actually meant to give glory for peak elo immediately as well.

I'm kind of curious about how solo 2v2 elo gains and losses work. I did my placement matches and won 8 of them, ending up at 2050 in individual 2v2 elo and 1400 in solo 2v2 elo.

Later, I kept playing solo 2v2 and ended up queueing against a team (I’m sure they were playing ranked 2v2, not solo 2v2). They were 2000+, while I was at 1400, and I lost 20 elo to them.

I’m not sure how that works, which elo is being used to determine how much I gain or lose?

yeah after the new update they changed it a bit you can get small amounts of glory during the season from wins now instead of only at the end so it’s normal if you’re seeing it after matches you’ll still get the main glory payout at the end based on your wins and peak elo but now it’s kinda split up a bit across the season

try using simple launch options like -high -nojoy to reduce input delay and background stuff also make sure you’re running fullscreen with vsync off and your monitor set to max hz some people also use the tech test branch on Steam since it feels smoother overall don’t stack too many launch commands tho keep it clean and test what feels best for you

solo 2v2 uses its own separate elo to calculate gains and losses so in your case the game is using your 1400 solo 2v2 elo, not your 2050 team/individual elo that’s why you lost a decent chunk even though they were 2000+ also when you queue solo you can still get matched vs a premade team playing ranked 2s the system just averages things out so it might not feel fair but it’s still calculated off your solo rating vs their team rating

getting all legends would only give you all legends, if the internet doesn't allow playing it just doesn't, cuz usually school internen blocks access to alot of stuff, for that I say use a vpn, tho if it's just to connect to brawl I'd say not to use a VPN cuz that could get you banned from the game
