anatomy tip, the spacing between the eyes is normally the width of one of the eyes

so like, take the width of one eyes, and put in between the other two, and space correctly

if you can't do it perfectly it doesn't matter

For the hand try using references. Would the fingers be bent a certain way? Also more rounding finger tips boosts the look of the hand a lot.

Any anatomy tutorial videos on youtube would be very helpful as well because you said you don't like the eyes rn

Colours lol. If I'm being serious, maybe a wooden floor, with a back wall behind the TV. Probably a desk where your character is resting his arms, and because of that maybe the back of a chair. Probably also a window with some background if you can. And if you want to characterize the room, if it's a living room add a couch, if it's a bedroom a bed, or something. For the moment, seems promessing @azure stone! Have fun making it.

@uncut yoke thanks man! One of the biggest things I've found is having a good workflow. I have my flats, lighting, and shadows all on seperate layers so I can just paintbucket them if I ever want to change em. Saves me so much t ime!

3d form is the pre-requisite for most illustrative skills. A vast majority of concepts build off of it
