He does not see an "opponent"—he sees a coordinate for a vent.

He doesn't "slash" or "slice" with the finesse of an assassin; he delivers ballistic cannonball punches that happen to be bladed. Each strike is a "Sniper" event—a slow build-up of tension followed by a violent, concussive explosion that clears his internal valve.

Overall, Throttling is the only "True Sigma" in the arena, a being so utterly detached from the social hierarchy of Valhalla that he becomes an immovable object. He does not care if he wins, and he does not notice if he loses. He takes the hits of his enemies not out of bravery, but because the kinetic energy of their strikes only serves to tighten his internal spring, fueling the next inevitable outburst. When he moves, he leaves behind scorched earth and oily soot, a physical reminder that his existence is a constant state of combustion. He is the Industrial Absolute one creature of pure impulse and zero latency, functioning with a mechanical honesty that makes the gods look like actors.
