well if you want knights you get disband but by the time you want knights techs usually cost alot, and i dont think it would be worth it in the lategame to miss out on an extra giant cause of 3 knights

like giants are important units and if you dont have any you will get overrun

But in super late game knights are better for finishing up

But you'll have all the stars anyways

you can substitute them with swords too but then youre buying 3 more techs

also there are genuinely times where you dont want knights cause enemy is doing swords/giants with riders or benders or fuck knows what
