#Help with burnout

i work in a company employed for the last many years, i feel more or less happy there. Because as infra dev i do work that is helpful to other devs. Very happy to work on configuring and maintaining monitoring systems, as every bit i do on this part helps to do development easier
in my pet projects i concentrated on making tools, and rewriting abandoned tooling for gaming community. and wrote article based on that
https://darklab8.github.io/blog/choosing_pet_projects.html
in golang i develop for them data navigational tool and online map
it can be difficult at times, but rather rewarding how many people show gratitude to what i did
i plan expanding my skills in similar fashion to other languages
always developing for free in gaming community, for my own fun, to test technologies
in my again free time i write articles about programming, and monitoring tooling i explored at work and then reproduced in my homelab
it is kind of satisfactory to share tricks and tips how to do development easier, and bring the most satisfaction.
i see as my goal achieving maximum satisfaction in development pretty much
with that... i do not mind if i get at work boring stuff from time to time... sure, it could be boring, but i can just relax in pet projects then
even if stuff at work could be boring, there is still gratitude of developers i receive because i make things for them
so i feel content in just helping other devs, at work, and at home
i do not see myself even making startup because success rate of them is fairly low and i do not see myself risking my money onto such things
yeah true
yeah that definitely does feel rewarding
