New to Go(Lang)

i just downloaded goland from jetbrains and just want to ask. is the "tour of go" course good? its where the IDE asks u to do a certain thing and you have to do it. if u've done it then please tell me how helpful it was

yeah if u can work ur way around linux then it definitely is helpful. it also depends on how much experience programming u have

im very new. ive tried python but after watching some videos i saw how slow it is, i stopped using it. found go. a compiled language that has a pretty simple syntax unlike c++. also yeah ive been on linux for like 2 years now.

if ur extremely new python being slow is totally okay. but go is also a good language to start
