Pay attention of the next weapon in rotation. I.e. if your next weapon is sniper go to a high area. If your next weapon is something you’re not familiar with, switch to katana.

Use your instincts, don't force it. It's a third person shooter so use cover and let the enemy come to you, if necessary. Characters that can use passive skills, like armor generation, even if your skills get locked down later, have an advantage. Play as a team. Try to play at least with two people. Use spots that are unusual. Most people play on autopilot. Know the adtantages of weapons. Most long ranged weapons are most effective on a long distance, so pick your spots accordingly, but some long ranged weapons also can be used in a closed combat scenario from hipfire without having to rely on a scope.

I would say using Fuchisa is a solid character. Being able to heal off of enemies can help well in short range or mid range combat. I would use Yvette to place Fay as a meat-sheild for marksman or snipers. Having a healer with either combo is really useful as well.

Just rush in and wipe them all out. The enemies are almost always low-skill players or bots, so I’ve literally never missed MVP. If you just camp behind a wall waiting for someone to walk into your sights, you’ll never score big. I usually drop around 6k damage per match, and even in games with only real players, there aren’t that many who are actually good outside of demolition mode.

Gun game is my favourite mode in any shooter.
And if I would be allowed to play against actual players (Sadly I only get bot matches) that would be great. Good warmup though.
Also any Duelist with a healing passive is the best pick. I prefer Fuchsia. Fragans, Ming and Mara not so much since without their Q they lose a lot viability in the secondary weapons.

My boi Bai Mo goes hard with full auto shotty instead of a regular shotty, trust. Main reason? He already is meant to play as close range Duelist, just giving him the full auto shotty saves you from arthritis and provide maximum firepower by just holding M1

Priority on headshots. Remember that you do have skill and ult, use them. As many people have said scroll to Katana for close peoples. For recoil on certain guns (Galatea, Maddy) fire in short bursts and not at one time. If you're bad at sniping you can use shoulder (I was a shoulder main before I learned scope existed) You might want to walk around the map for enemies. Kill on sight. Use healing when you have it. Or give it to a friend. It really doesn't matter who you play but I've noticed certain characters have quicker animations than others so there may be an advantage there.
And my favorite tip is to have fun. If you can't play it fun because of bots, gather a few people from this server and make a custom match and beat each other up.
That's basically all my advice.

Pick Audrey and you will have her turret throughout 80% of the game until you reach the final tiers where skills are disabled.
During the phase where you're on your handguns, it's better to just sword it out. It only takes three hits to score a kill.
And at this point, most enemies are probably in sniper or precision rifle stage, making it even harder for them to deal with you at close range.

I enjoy using Fuchsia because of her ability to find enemies which is a huge help in this fast paced game mode. The healing and extra health she receives from kills is also a huge boost for keeping yourself alive longer.
I would also recommend not sleeping on using the sword as you can catch people off guard with it, especially when others are on sniper rifles or handguns.

Yvette invis is great since you can flank on a lot of fights really easily it also means that you can quickscope people out of nowhere and now they're either dead or at a severe disadvantage.

Pick strong 1v1 characters like Ming, Flavia, and Mara to help secure kills. Celestia and Frangrans are also good options if your team can stay grouped up. Just remember that your abilities are disabled once you get to pistols!

I can't overstate how useful Meredith's passive is for air-strafing. Her skill also slows enemy movement and reload times, making big windows for you to isolate guaranteed kills. Severely underrated pick. Focus on playing with your team for elim trading.

You can get really interesting combinations of guns and skills, and is crazy how some weapons are balanced alongside certain passives but not getting obsolete without them, is all about being creative... or use ninjato... but I really recommend everyone try all out.
My favorite so far is Yvette with snipers since you get Fay to cover you yet you need to know how to quick scope. Another interesting one is Reiichi with shotguns, specially BaiMo's, the gun play with the walls is absolutely fun and dynamic.

I haven't found a combination that I like yet, but I really like the essence of the arms race, now it's my favorite mode and I play it all the time.

I've been testing out the new game mode and I've been loving it. One piece of advice I'd give is to start with Fuchsia, for her detection and healing abilities, as this is advantageous for surviving while killing enemies. As you progress, you can continue using her, but if you want to get sniper kills, I recommend switching to Madelenna when you reach sniper. I did this and made kills easier thanks to her paints, as it prevented enemies from turning into paper and allowed me to shoot more accurately. And as a final piece of advice, when you get an enemy down to low health, it would be a good idea to finish them off with your katana.

Tip is that the game is not like CS or others team-tactic shooters, its something different about how strategies and mechanics. Don't play alone and move with your team. Its nearly impossible to take 1 v 2 or higher and win this fight. Move carefully and try to avoid usless deaths. Try to get advantage for your team.
