180 adr means that you barely kill someone, meaning you damage someone enough for someone to pick you up off of a trade.

However, if you had 250 adr, then that means you are guaranteed a kill and your teammates can trust you with solo play.

Now, what does this mean? Every individual should have enough individual agency to get atleast a single kill in a round.

Why is damage important? Damage means you take out the resource of health from people.

You can play support roles and do enough damage to provide value to the team. Yvette can ice and allow her teammates to get a kill easily, but what if she gets a kill herself too?? doesn't that mean she provides more value to the team as well? doesn't it take the need for someone to cover for a 4v5 easier?

Sure, higher damage doesnt necessaarily mean the player is playing well, but its also objectively still a good statistic since, well- its just better than doing less damage.

Depending on agent, your damage is lower or higher, yes, but it should by no means fall below the 250 mark if you want to be considered someone that can be relied on in the game
