So some way to prevent this is to:

1. Enable vertical sync but no one does this anymore as it will give you input delay -> not good for gaming
2. Use modern monitor with gsync or freesync technology
3. Limit (cap) your frame rate to under your monitor HZ, if your monitor is 60Hz, then you set limit (cap) your FPS to 59 or 57

in your case, you can try the option 3 to see if it is gone
