You have to play at least one game of Escort and one game of Demolition. We still have at least another day worth of the Outbreak event so that also needs 2+ games.

Then any extra games needed for the straggler daily quests (glide, use skills, kills, etc) and that's not even including the weekly that require specific factions/types/modes.

I think that's the one yes. I obviously can't into it at the moment, but the new event that started today gives daily tasks, 1 was play a game of Demolition and another was play a game of Escort. I don't think ranked will help you as it's two very specific game modes. Like outbreak event required you to play Outbreak for the purple crystals.
