Yes
Do you ever think that there is someone trying to take total control of Strinova, outsting both PUS and The Scissors? And they are using you (the Navigator) as an undercover agent?
I've read the story (seasonal, bond story, translated side story,...) and concluded that the Navigator have exquisite knowlegde of all three parties involved in the story, albeit they're closer to PUS, the rightful ruler of Strinova.
Since seasonal story is currently halted, we can only conclude from the older one. Assume that we players (or to be precise Navigators) have access to all of these details by reading or viewing it, there is a chance that they are being used for some purposes other than knowledge kept-to-self.
Given that there is a humanlike Crystalline agent in the next season could it be we either work for them, or we do not but have the same goal as them, to destroy (?) Strinova.
That's my wild theory
The side binding the Navigator to all three factions is the Astral Sanctuary
And the reason he's so well-connected to P.U.S. is that Celestia is Kokona's long-time friend.
Yvette was recruited by Celestia as well
Heck, most of the Scissors worked in the P.U.S. as well, since the organisation itself is an off-shoot that broke off due to the difference in goals, so EVERYONE except few notable Superstrings have a very strong connection to P.U.S.
Even Ming - though her connection if a rather negative one
So, the chance of a huge conspiracy involving the Navigator is rather slim
His neutrality is closer to that of a medic as far as I can tell — he is one, in fact
And medics often have more dealings with the government because that's where the most patients are
to add to the fact, navi was odds with NB and NB was the closest thing to what BBcon said
Navi is Celestia's pet
Maybe. But idk
Like a mayor?
?
Nevermind
God I love that I joke we have.
Does not help with the "yandere celestia bug" I had a year back. That shit was funny in retrospect
Celestia? Yandere? The girl calls your MVP score "a team effort"
Waht kind of a bug could change that image?
it's a long time ago but after i finish a game, i can't get out of celestia's room in the menu
i had to altf4 just to leave the game
i don't see celestia but i see the door to her room and it's locked
basically
be me. i play a game of strinova
get back, celestia greats me
sybau, i lost. tries to queue again
play button does not work.
transports me to an unseen part of the room
sees the door. understands its locked
fuck
had to reinstall game to escape that clingy girl
probably the best image of the bug
this is where the bug started
Holy
I have a theory
I suspect there is no difference between matches and replays lore-wise
Navigator's job is some kind of memory sorting during therapy. So he probably doesn't command Supersrings, but jist vieweing their memories of past battles, maybe even adjusting them and excising some kind of corruption
(And Meredith watches him do it)
If dorm lines are canon than Yvette knows what a replay is
tho i guess that technically doesnt contradict your theory
you weren't there when celestia put me in the back rooms
no. the game was just stuck there
Yeah me too, i just staring at the clock
Btw if you stuck like that again, click the figurine.
But i prefer to hop on her bed instead
steals
Just as an addendum to the whole "PUS is a branch of the greater government we're calling PRISM," I'm probably incredibly late to seeing this, but well...
Not unless Polar Research Institute is an entirely new name for it...
The entire institute/area is Polar Research Institute
And then the specific area is a lab dedicated to prism research idk
Lol.
It certainly sounds more fun trying to extract than the current camp one spot and hope for win kind of gameplay. At least for me
It's more fun. I am kinda worried of the quality because the y had a fucking misspell in official marketing.
Someone probably left auto correct turned on lol
But not uncommon to see misspelling by accident from Aisan companies. I don't think it's gonna make or break the game. They could also fix it in post any time.
CSO ahh gamemode 😭 😭 😭
the hard part is having to find 19 other idiots to play with
Isnt it 15p like normal outbreak
CN lore community seems alive and posted, well, this. https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1CzUDBBE2o/?spm_id_from=333.1368.top_right_bar_window_dynamic.content.click&vd_source=499c262223464bc902a904d67ec336b8
(Video Title - "[Strinova Explained] From Collapse Syndrome to Infiltration Crisis: Delving Into Strinova's Superstring Sci-Fi Elements")
nope, been expanded to 20 for quite a long while now
Japanese has it as "recording". Could be some video feed, could be the replays Navigators use
Come on, just imagine: Superstrings trying to get extraction from crystalline-infested wilderness just to get hit with a surprise audit instead
That's some actual horror
thats true, in the jp interface it uses "replay" (instead of "recording" like she says in the voiceline) to refer to the ingame replays. might just be me but the jp voiceline seems to imply that fay is the one watching tho
She always pretends it's Fay who says it when she's embarassed to say something herself
The second sentence sounds like she drops the pretense halfway through
The better question is
What would Yvette do?
Idk
But do you remember that Scene?
?
Idk. What would exactly happen
Stop it. Fay
Read the wiki
That's Yvette's ulit practically
meanwhile...
Interesting that in-game we have them yellow in colour (It doesn't state that they can have different colours). Dunno if there was something about it but if I could speculate: those that we have in-game for irl money and such are redefined bablo crystals, not dangerous to have nearby but also somewhat useless (maybe) to scientists for further use/research. Also hi
I don't have the original source for it, but my best guess is that the yellow bricks we see in-game are a processed form of raw Bablo crystals.
I can see that in a way. Lore wise we, the Navigator, have a job (if I remembered that correctly, saw it somewhere) to keep a close look at all Superstrings. Making sure they won't use their power too much, and to be stable since I assume the more they would use their powers (both going 2D - 3D and their stage 2 powers some of the Superstrings have) the more susceptible they would be to collapse and its effects. I might be wrong in it actually, but whatever, I already wrote it. When it comes to the Bablo crystals that we have/buy. I think we are using them to keep the superstrings stable lore wise (also to buy cute and/or busty skins apparently).
(Hopefully it made some sense, I am not great when it comes to ideas.)
The skin gacha is called Reconstruction for a reason
The memory sequences are literally written on Bablo crystals
What exactly is "reverse string"? As i remember, Eika say something about reverse string in one of her ult voicelines
As far as I understand it, it's literally the decomposition process of the "strings" that make up the physical composition of objects within Strinova. It's both useful (as pictured above, it's the process that literally powers everything in Strinova) and dangerous (insert the Reverstring storms that form the damage zones in TDM).
Eika's flames are a reverstring process, decomposing everything it affects. That makes her weapons much more effective against Superstrings, especially when they are flat.
By the way, I must remind everyone that "Bablo" is Russian slang for money
Insert flat joke here
Hello there
"Do you think Kokona and Fuchsia have an easier time stringifying?"
I'm presuming the logic of "Strinova works like the real world unless mentioned otherwise." Ergo, human anatomy works like how we'd understand it in the real world.
I mean no one has a body anymore so she was... Programed?
Talking abou this, how scissors pretend return to earth being 0 and 1?
Hey people, I have a question
Would you like a story mode for the game?
Do you consider it necessary?
Personally, I don't think an explicit story mode is necessary, but more readily accessible/presented character story materials (like the BiliBili character stories) plus actual comprehensive basic worldbuilding to what the HECK Strinova is IMO necessary if you want story to be anything beyond English-1 fanservice tomfoolery for the majority of the playerbase.
(and if what I'm hearing about AI dorms from dev interview stuff is what I think it is, the problem is only gonna get far worse)
Necessary? The game has been going fine for like 10 seasons at this point without much story. Would it be good? Very
Thanks for responding. I understand your points of view, and that helps me get a better idea of what you think about the idea mentioned. Even though Strinova has focused on multiplayer and its reward system (skins, tradeable items, collectibles, etc.) and game modes, I'm left thinking that Strinova presents a fantastic idea with potential for a story, so many characters, settings, story fragments, and a lore yet to be discovered. I know it might sound far-fetched or even remote that it could become a reality, but I at least think it would be a great addition to the game.
Inclined to agree with that sentiment, hence why I've been taking my, well, own stab at things.
Um... Yes and no? We need more lore in global, not necessary in a story mode
How do you think Navigators (us) come to the world?
I'm trying to write some fanfic and need some in4mation.
There's technically two different viewpoints on this - one from the current PC client and one from the coming mobile one.
The PC version is that Navigators are just ordinary people that take on the role of a "Navigator" as a job. Our player character just happens to be one of them. See Fragran's bio entry.
The mobile version, on the other hand, is made out to be potentially more of a unique presence in Strinova, AKA the "first Strinovan pioneer whose consciousness was captured by the “power of the world.”
If you had to ask me, both could potentially be true - as in there's Navigators as a general profession and the Navigator as us the playable character.
What do you mean? Are you referring to fan stories? That sounds cool too.
Fanfiction (the serious kind, not the fanservice kind) with unique OCs, complete down to actual in-game combat kits.
OK I read the SS2 story and found that the Navigator is not some random person. They are close to Celestia, and is also acquainted with multiple other factions (incl. PUS and The Scissors). There is also another faction opposing to both the PUS and The Scissors, which I will probably set as the main antagonist.
I mean CN have a lot of lore, while GLB barely had any
Also in SS3C1 there is a hint on either the Navigator directly witnessed the Urbino meeting, or they could have heard about it from someone.
Given that they have thoughts during that scene I think they are at that meeting
And this proves some of my points I sent here some days ago
In short, Navigator's knowledge isn't just for themself.
They are in a spy network, at worst
I mean during SS2 the bracelet the terrorists were trying to steal somehow ended up on Navigator's arm
And that bracelet did not have a number although being in Grove Bank's safe
SS3C3 further confirms this. Navigator's CV for the Astral Sanctuary was forged. Or at least, our Navigator went to the Sanctuary with a blank mind
I mean it's just a wild theory
But given how Chinese company make gacha games MC this should be possible
That sounds like some good fan fiction, it's great to see people with this kind of interest. In fact, I'm thinking about something similar for a story mode.

If you're interested in that kind of stuff, I can DM you a link to the fanon/OC creation server with that stuff. (alternatively, check #1342687979491168387 or #1368973926910267483 )
Thanks for opinion. To be honest, I'd like to see more development in the lore than in the multiplayer.

Thank, I'll Thanks! I'll take a look then.

Everyone does have a body, that's the point of plenty of lore
In other news, I finished parsing that large CN theory video from above. @stiff magnet , you might find this very interesting. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ASa7Q-CshHO-Y_Dr2Qk92RXn3AOjs71cLMX6O96joUQ/edit?tab=t.fjmpn8w5726x
Lore Resources In case you want to read up stuff for yourself instead of taking other people’s word for it, here are all the relevant resources: Strinova Manhwa A 26-chapter comic that lays out a lot of foundational Strinova worldbuilding and tells a side story prominently featuring a good chunk...
Thank you ♡
I already went through the video, but having compiled notes on hand is always welcome.
Great job, comrade !
I'm getting even more Perimeter (combined with early C&C) vibes from this. Holy shit.
The concept that memories are foreign can be explained by string theory; in string theory, everything in the world is made up of strings, and different string vibrations produce different types of matter. Memories absorbed into consciousness all come from the vibrations of other strings. Recalling a memory is essentially generating a string within the body that matches the same frequency as the memory content. However, the frequency of vastly different memory sequences are not like this; they do not “forget” and are instead constrained by the frequency “cascade” of the host Strinovan. Therefore, once the “cascade” is destroyed, the memory leaks out and is lost.
this still allows for the 7 demons interpretation of shii
The thing with the 7 demons interpretation is that it's so abstract and out-of-game there's nearly nothing that can disprove it other than a very direct and very rigid system of abilities which is unlikely to ever happen as Strinova needs to sell more skins
We literally have a magical catgirl here
(And a lovely one, to boot)
We have demons now? 😓
No. They are philosophical and not characters
They are just thought experiments
Embodiments of paradoxes in the concept like maxwell's demon
Maxwell's demon a "character" used to demonstrate that entropy can increase in a system through some fuckery like a demon
While Laplace's is really not a demon. Rather it's a god. People refer it as a demon because it is unnatural for it exists. (I prefer to call it God though because the idea of Laplace's demon is, anything omniscient is practically omnipotent)
Oh. Okay
The demons referred to are the chip skin ones
(I think)
Idk there was a big wall of text that my brain tried to process
😭
my head still aches reading the season 1 story and whatever it is after outbreak
from the docs shared here I assume everything after S1 is retconned due to outbreak story?
At the moment we presume retcon because of the status of the major characters within New Bethelem. Rafa has seemingly been rewritten into Yugiri, Galatea could maybe still be a high-ranking undercover NB agent but seems unlikely, and Julian has not been introduced to Global at all.
Because. He is gone
Julian is gone. Forever and ever
Is season 1 lore bigger than what is showed in game?
New what?
New Bethlehem - the actual terrorist faction responsible for blowing up Komos Tower in the S1 story.
What about the scissors?
The Scissors are more a radical insurgency than a terrorist faction, given that they explicitly try and curry favor with some of the general Strinova population (see Preton).
Ok
There is a Chanel where I can see strinova history or a wiki ?
It has a history inside of that wiki ?
Really
I didnt know about that
If you’re talking history as in terms of the game’s story timeline, not exactly.
If you’re looking for that, your best bet is probably the Worldbuilding Notes doc in the pinned messages.
I think strinova history is kind forgettable
lol
Anyways
Thanks for the information
yet, not cooking
It’s kinda neat how Meredith’s design didn’t change from the really old Strinova trailer to now
And then there’s Ming 💀
that makes me thinking

if PUS have mobs/regular guards, does The Scissors have one?
Yes - see Season 4 story, where a bunch of normal Scissors combatants get facerolled by one of PUS's special ops teams (Anode Team) off-screen.
(and then Ming and Eika proceed to faceroll them)
Though I guess its less of "mobs/regular guards" and more that both sides have additional combatants (often non-Superstrings) besides the playable Superstrings.
that's what I meant
Hey
What would have happened. If Ming never blocked it?
?
I'm going to extrapolate the strinova map (which is actually just shenzhen map scanned) to the ingame lore maps
which I find quite amusing since devs are based on shenzhen
Hi
Do you have any ideas?
?
yeah I give up
elitron does not make sense to be THAT far, unless the map only shows the place to meet, not the superstring's home
connected map for reference
michele/kokona still plausible to be that far since nothing cuts off, celestia/audrey too
We keep saying, watch people play Yvette. That's analogous to her ultimate
Oh. Okay
But it still kind of. Confuses me
Description: Summon a Frost Bear to create Polar Zones, causing enemies to Slip, become Vulnerable, and lowering their Rate of Fire and Weapon Usability.
anyway, where can I watch strinova lore videos in bilibili
not the documentary, more like game teaser and such
New Ming clooks like a punk revolutionary leader. Old Ming looks like a scarred orphan. In-lore Ming is both
I had a thought
Would "Pawtectors are how a wild honkan marks territory" count as lore or is it just a gameplay description?
The problem is, that was the only thought that graced me and my head is now empty, so I cannot answer that question
I may be dumb, but what the hell is a honkan
(2)
is Celestia more loyal than the villager from clash of clans?
You're not dumb, that's just the pronoun Michele uses to refer to herself in Japanese. It means "This officerr" and is a huge part of her characterization that doesn't show as much in other languages
As in, she shows in-game mostly as a "gamer". In Japanese, however, she's also an overeager rookie, which usually is easy to see only outside of the game itself or in, like, two of her personal stories
Here's just a bit more about her speech if you're interested
Exactly.
To expand - Michele’s father, George Lee, is considered a hero in Strinova. His work as an officer inspired people like Lawine to join P.U.S. and dedicate themselves to protecting others. When he mysteriously developed Collapse Syndrome, right before Michele graduated and could follow in his footsteps, she chose to join the investigation team to uncover what really happened to him.
She’s also regarded as a prodigy, thanks to her unconventional, gamer-like way of thinking that helped her ace every test. People praised her constantly and expected her to live up to her father’s legacy, which is why becoming an investigator fills her with so much pride. She dreams of standing beside him again one day as a badass father-daughter duo, just like they always were when they played games together.
This is also why every repeated defeat hits her so hard. When you spend your whole life being called a prodigy, only to get completely facerolled several times in a row… it hurts your pride. It makes you question everything - whether you’re really as talented as everyone says, and whether you’re truly worthy of stepping into your dad’s very big shoes.
are they human or mecha
If my memory of the tutorial holds true: Androids, so I guess mecha.
clanker
will we have gta6 before story in cn being transferred into global
【白墨的故事——《白氏理财日记》-哔哩哔哩】 https://b23.tv/FHOq7Hc
Ah crud, here we go again...
Do you ever think that meat and meat-based products are actually synthetic in Strinova?
Apart from cats, animals can't be converted to Strinova due to low compatibility
The bridge to Earth was already destroyed, and if it was not, Earth is already unsuitable for farming
I mean we do have synthetic meat now, but costs are too high. Since Strinova takes place in some thousands years later it might be cheaper.
lore was retconned in cn so
Baimo in suit
My best guess is probably something akin to Star Trek replicator tech given that String Sequences are the foundation to literally everything within Strinova.
Considering how the issue with transferring animals seems to be getting their minds over, the tech’s probably there for making their bodies. Making animal-based products is probably just a matter of knowing their string sequence and having them printed like Agent_RAF said.
As to whether it’d count as synthetic or not, that may also raise the question as to whether any of the bodies printed for people count as fully synthetic too.
In other news, translation done. It's a pretty good one all things considered - it gives actual examples of Scissors-Urbino collaboration, clearly shows their motives as a third party, among other things.
It seems like eating’s primarily just to stave off hunger pangs since it’s stated that starvation’s no longer a problem.
Presumably that means people can eat less than normal.
Wow
What do you mean there are no dogs in Strinova?
The Scissors are right Strinova fucking sucks
"Shovel down your bland rations, drink your coffee-flavored sludge. Sure, it sucks - but that's being human."
- V .III O'Keeffe, Armored Core 6
yeah, we should've return to earth
oh, that fay bear? he's a mecha

yeah, eating is just a habit or cultural pastime rather than necessity
but imagine craving for sugary taste but you don't have dream tokens

no donuts...
I mean it's a theory from the worldbuilding sparknote
But official Maddelena's character story stated that there is no animal in Strinova
But in Fuchsia story she met the last shark in strinova...
Either it was actually bionic or whatever group has it isn't with the PUS group researching how to transfer animals over.
Where do I need to write to change the game server? It does not allow access to the server due to high ping.
You can do that in a drop-down, in the main menu, in the Play tab, by hovering over the "signal bars" on your player chip.
Also, this is #lore-discussion
Cielle is an entirely new character. CN teases indicate she's also an Urbino merc (specifically a double-barrel shotgun user with some sort of flight capabilities).
Wait
So. She makes Money?

Okay, I know who I'm going to get next
OK I miss Splitgate
Wow
everyone on urbino is a mercenary, thats not a specific part of her character
Oh. Okay
mercenaries are people who are willing to fight for anyone to be paid, which is why they fight along side both PUS and scissors
20 bucks is 20 bucks
Well, not exactly. Urbino tends to hire mercs as part of their organization as an inbetween, but some others (Audrey and Bai Mo) clearly serve Urbino interests.
some of them are very high up in the urbino ladder...
someone is even the leader of urbino
Isn't the only explicit mercenary right now Fuschia?
Idk what reason Celestia has to fight
Explicitly at the moment, Fuchsia, yeah.
The other Urbino members right now don't have an explicit reason to fight given that their roles are mostly non-combative. "Freelancer" is probably a better term for the others.
They're just throwing hands for fun at this point
and I thought The Scissors are the anarchists
celestia tho, her hospital funded by urbino
iirc that above i mentioned
not sure her hospital or research
man
they gotta give us robot agent on PUS team

Again, animals weren't gone through the process as humans did. What were these then?
I think humans are just big cats
No. We are just humans
Not mammals
Humans
I mean
If we're not cats
Why do we keep fighting and sleeping interchangably
Idk
To quote Maddelena's Character Story:
“That’s true…after all, Strinova’s landscape is quite different from that of Earth. Why not use bionic animals for inspiration? The coffee shop near the school entrance recently introduced several cat robots; I heard they’re cutting edge and are quite flexible!” her classmate suggested.
Maddelena shook her head, explaining, “I’ve tried that. But it’s not actually alive, it’s just programmed behavior. It always feels a bit off…”```
So animals are animatronic?
At least the pets, yes.

This is lore chat cheese. Do it in fankit
Oh. Okay

Guys
I found some new Lore
do tell me if anyone have gdocs/list of retconned story
do you ever think Preton was destroyed?
I have just read ss4 story
and currently writing a fanfiction that takes place after every story available atm
and if yes, I'd have to write an entire series as a prequel on how would the story happen
BBcon
If you're referring to after the events of Season 4, potentially. Given that there's also perhaps some loose speculation of Strinova being some sort of time loop, there's as small chance that S2-S4 are not retconned and are just one such time loop.
If you're talking historically, yes - the initial collapse of the Human Corridor hit Preton the hardest, leaving it in a leveled state and leading to the Preton in present-day Strinova.
I mean the official is discontinued
BBcon
Not yet, hence why I said it's currently loose speculation/theory.
Actually, BBCon, I know of someone else who's writing a post-present Strinova story. The loose idea is that it's set five-something years after present-day Strinova, when the current "cold war" between PUS and The Scissors grew hot.
That's because someone had to take time to painstakingly hand-translate the entire thing and then put it on the wiki. And it's relatively new (five days at this point).
Oh. Okay
My goat
my goat
Link please
Thanks
I need some recap, why Meredith and Flavia worked together in Operation Unity?
which event hints the joint ops?
also Bai Mo too
From what I can tell the factions deemed the crystalline threat big enough for them to work together against them.
that part is i know, but forgot which log in op restraint hints the idea
or happens after that?
cauchy is in preton so not all of it and it was retaken and cleaned after outbreak
RAF is one of THE translators
probably no one wrote it. just used author's hand pointed at crystallines
At Sanctuary of Chaos
Also the pre-debut of Lilith
that is during operation unity, I already read that
Nice
As Crux said, there is no log in Operation Restraint that talks explicitly about The Scissors getting involved. But you can potentially infer that they did get involved with the Crystallines behind the scenes (one of the Outbreaks literally occurs in Preton, where The Scissors set up shop), but at least didn't get in the way of PUS/Urbino's joint task force.
I went a bit too far on my continuance of SS4 and said Preton was completely destroyed
And killed Eika's parents in process
Bruh
Who is on the left?
?
is that
Kanami
Wait. What?
?
I can't even see the full image. Of her
XD
I mean i cropped it
Oh. Okay
Nice
that kind of mirroring is like the NATO OTAN thing
though the question is who will read it upside down?
highly likel it is just a adesing and not words
or just gibberish that are meant to look like foreign script
Reminds me of the Golden Record on the Voyager that describes the Earth's position relative to pulsars
So they could be numbers or physics-like schematics
Continuing the "string theory" and "another planet" themes
Could be a date and time
If that's the case, the mirroring could be a representation of the matter/antimatter symmetry
...Anyway, I have a question.
Me and my friends have established that the string-blocking gunk in slow nades and Maddelena/Bai Mo's skills, is actually a toxic residue from processing what is essentially people's souls.
Now, using toxic compounds in paints is not exactly new, and I'm sure Maddelena handles them perfectly fine (huffs so hard she now emits it with her bullets), but what intrigues me is how it relates to her legendary skin — the one where, IIRC, the paint Q is supposed to be actual coffee.
So let me get this straight: Maddelena brews noxious latte from random people's forgotten memories, do I get it right? Not to accuse her or anything, I just want to confirm it's what I think it is.
@dull elk
pls explain
i am guessing that's the slow part but the wet blocks stringing
as for the skins, skins are canon but i do not know how canon their representations are
It's from one of my old theories
The interaction between water and string theory
Water has the ability to store information and since superstrings evolved in a way that they have become information
Water acts like a sponge to them
So you swim in coffee — you become the coffee, got it
It's an old theory I haven't revised
Omg u people are still at the lore digging
😭
Insane dedication
high
all I want is comprehension over the.... everything
Time to start learning chinese
Or uni level physics if you want to understand string theory
i know chinese but im too lazy to read 😭
Or fanfiction
currently using fabula ultima, despite it isn't shooter-focused trpg
did you know i tried making a https://discord.com/channels/1182952140684136470/1385139565257293835
inspired by battletech
ehh
i still have the first and only charts
I just reuse what exist first
if you search hard enough, there will be always a trpg for any genre
i based it on a system based around shooting. the modifiers are not tested though
it's just a simplified gator from battletech
should try modding/homebrewing based on iron sleet, it's shooter genre trpg
there is? oh i also remember someone made a tactical shooter rpg. you may wanna look into it
probably that's what you meant for tactical shooter rpg
it has stamina so you want to think about spending stamina on your turn
etc etc
there is also bolt actio
the game setting doesn't fit strinova but you can homebrew it
don't want stamina though
as always
oh shit gurps is still relevant?
prolly
wow
i read the last entry
for the outbreak event
IT'S SO PEAK
omg poor meredith 😭
me when i understand the context behind meredith seeing herself in a lab
wait so is meredith ok at the end or what
meredith prolly got the insidious treatment
i cant tell if she died got posessed or is fine
possessed or stuff
a
that makes sense if the whole thing is read by meredith, who ends off with "lilith" which means she is possessed
my goat bai mo couldnt dash 😔
bro had to start locking in but it was too late
Just make a new one with your own rules
Hello1 Im writing an Strinova based novel Its full of grammar errors so far but i would like to know your feedback and opinion on it do you like it? https://pastebin.com/PFSK1gKS
Deaths aren't canon compliant because the the way we die in game is technically the canon way of dying which is not really. You get deconstructed into information.
The crystalline case is different though. @dull elk are they unrecoverable?
Not 100% sure, but it's implied that they might be recoverable given Audrey telling us in Operation Restraint to "recover the lost souls."
I'm getting into that this is just a preamble
Also my first attempt on writing something serious
but yeah there will be some g00ning stuff too
To me, it seems...all over the place? Kinda hard to parse, but it sounds like the narrator (presumably the Navigator) narrating to Kanami the results of what seems to be a PUS team of Michele + a bunch of other named PUS operatives going up against a Crystalline incursion?
Also, fanfiction is probably best directed in #1368973926910267483.
Who is Hermes? The name that appears all over the place on Strinova maps
in-universe company
prolly selling luxury stuffs
including your superstring skins (it's implied superstrings can change their appearance at will, unless I misunderstood)
If you do write that, don't send that here
Yep, the concept of skins are canon ( a lot of the skins are semi canon)
Wonder if we can bribe gala with the booze
So reading Bai Mo's story, he's just a rich philanthropist with no sense for money?
I was under the impression he got his fortune through being really good at like the stock market or something but no, he's just giga rich
I wonder why PUS operators are animal-themed
then there's nobunaga which is... what?

What's kokona then?
sea rabbit
michele: cat
yvette: bear
flavia: butterfly
kokona: rabbit (from story?)
yugiri: snail
nobunaga
chiyo
leona

Kokona's drones are called sea bunnies but I don't think she's particularly animal themed herself
The others have literal representations of their animals in their default design, but I don't think kokona does
Also pretty sure sea bunnies aren't real animals
They’re a type of sea slug:
prolly nobu/chiyo/leona represents elements
nobu: thunder
chiyo: fire
leona: earth
As someone who actively watches a sea bunny vtuber, they are indeed real. Because while the person I watch does not talk much about them, I have googled sea bunnies just because of this.
Real. Common name for a type of jellyfish or sea slug
We...... want... Kokona.
Soon, CN will have character.ai like dorms
Sea bunnies are small, fluffy-looking sea slugs of the species Jorunna parva, named for their resemblance to a bunny rabbit. They are a type of nudibranch, or shell-less marine gastropod mollusk, that lives in the Indo-Pacific Ocean. Despite their cute appearance, they are toxic, as they absorb poisons from the sponges they eat for defense.
which means...
actually
the population of strinova will never increase, right
and will always decrease with the number of ppl suffering collapse syndrome and caught in outbreak
People uhhh do the deed in strin.
Eika is a result
Retconned stuff though. In a CN cutscene, eika's class was somewhat explicitly mentioned as born in strinovA
This is why I joke do not eika. You are a BA sensei if you do
as a matter of truth i will be sensei
Eika is a high schooler yes but we don't know if she was born before the corridor was closed
Do not your students
ofc duh
Do not be a "sensei"
:3
I played BA because I thought I can do warcrimes because child soldiers but I did not get it and just learned it's just people uhhh you know to children so I quit. I wanted child soldiers not child brides
BA story is pretty good, of course if you don't like all the uoh around it then it's understandable you'd drop it
I personally didn't like the gameplay
i like BA
this. this is the other reason. i wanted xcom not some autorunner with abilities. tbf this is the reason i left. the reason i did not comeback was the uoh
i still find it funny
must be a retcon :(
in old lore audrey says something like bai mo is crazy at business
audrey takes 1 week to do something bai mo does in 1 day
now he's mega rich 💀
i should read the story and see if it's the case tho

My impression is that he's really charismatic and good at reading people, like a more extroverted Flavia
audrey is ojousama type, minus the O ↗️ Ho ↘️ Ho ↘️ Ho ↘️ tone
what would be the possible reasons scissors picks fight against urbino
and other times they fight with urbino
Urbino is neutral. They probably use scissors as some dog to sic on pus if it serves them
Because a pus asset is defended by urbino Mercs or scissors want something that urbino just does not want to give
I just realized something
I remember. One time. When someone asked. If there were cows. Inside of Strinova
And now. I just realized. That Strinova. Has Pizza
So. Cows do exist
But. What about. Pepperoni Pizzas?
?
Synthetic meat has been on our current earth for a while now so no surprise if meat and dairy products in Strinova are synthetic
Wow
tbf strinovans can't die due to hunger/thirst
so eating is just pastime and culture instead of necessity
is it synthetic? yes
does it tastes like a real deal? possibly
which makes me thinking too, are cooks exist in strinova? or they're just artists too drawing foods and drinks
The answer is yes. Exhibit A is Eika's parents (they literally run a diner in Preton).
Wait. So you can never get hungry?
?
yeah, i forgot that
Question
It seems one can still feel hunger but one can't die from starvation
Thank you so much
QMB
My king has the best of the backstories. If they retcon it, it'll be Bai Mover
Hi
its kinda the same
in the old lore he already knew what profit was
since he was like
"astral sanctuary is operating at a loss"
dude was THIS close to convincing celestia to sell her soul or smt
(slight exaggeration)
and then audrey was like
wait dont do that celest
If they made a university student. For Urbino
@fading pagoda sus dude out of topic
it's a scam dumbass
I was joking you dumbass
lol
Wdym?
Ocs
No
Oh. Okay
The reason for urbino neutrality is Bablo tech development. They play both sides in an attempt to create new Corridors. Think Ner'Zhul from Warcraft 2
I don't play warcraft
remember, a lot of the people here are young
In short, there was that orc that used the magic that created one portal to create several new ones leading somewhere else entirely. Those portals, unfortunatly, led to the world's version of hell, so the guy was ripped apart by the demons together with the world. The situation, except the ending, was the focus of the "Beyond The Dark Portal" expansion for Warcraft 2
It's a very good game, though its age really shows
Yesterday. I managed to get Pvz. Running on Whisky
I have seen that orc before
Wait
Can superstrings. Die to Lava?
For example. Mara pushes Yvette into the Lava
And. Yes. There is Lava
The game physically forbids you from touching lava
the floor is actually lava
XD
Death is a near impossibility in strinova
Wow
But how would you deal with Lava
Could you just swim inside of it?
?

no. your vessel dies
Wow
remember galatea and madde being artists? they are an important part of the strinova economy. they are the ones who paint bodies for the people's concsiousness to live in. the navigator (players) are there to guide those consciousness to the new body when the person needs to change bodies.
yes that means the skins are canon
Nice
Wait
So Mara is the opposite of that?
?
She wipes away your concsiousness
When Mara grabs your Soul. Your Vessel dies out
We just need a mara char story plus her dynamics with the rest of scissors
Nice
Question
Ria
Do you want an Oc template?
?
maybe Lilith know about Mara's past?
Hi
I only now realized Michele actually makes that gesture twice in her dorm interactions
And her eyes change to an expression she doesn't normally use
Kokona, on the other hand, smiles like that in her intro IIRC
Also, hands on hips is literally her default pose when choosing skins
Nearly the exact pose in two different scenes
Can you help me with a Game?
?
And I really should be messaging you this
Since this channel is only for the Lore
you can just use #game-chat btw
That is for Strinova
i can help with unity game dev
why are u talking to your self tho
we know its ur alt dude
Idk. Sorry
Lol bro forgot he switched accounts
Outside of the "game files" age (which is utterly wrong), what do you think about the characters' age?
For example, Michele must not be 16, since she graduated police school and had been working for a few years
I would firmly believe that's their age when they move to Strinova
since strinovan won't age
so they might be living way longer than their listed age
But there's Eika who was born in Strinova
They explicity refer to Yugiri as a teenager in one of the stories so it's probably at least partially intended
Terrorist
In her character story, she beat up some people and had to be bailed out by Lawine
Lorewise, she's a terrorist
lawiwi

She was saved from a plane crash by Scissors and ended up staying 2 weeks at Ming's place.
Because Scissors treated her so nice, she gave a little concert in Preton, what caused some people with collapse syndrome (loss of memory) to regain their memories because her songs are so heart-touching.
She told Ming that if they would ever need anything, she'll help and Ming misunderstood that Kanami wanted to join Scissors xD
In the end, Kanami is part-timer (like Eika) at Scissors, helping them on missions when they need cover-up. They can sneak to any city as crew for example.
that's what i remember, yes
I like that she's still having doubts, especially after she got hurt.
Makes things more "real"
Not everyone has to be a rambo xD
kanami unwittingly joined before she actually says yes
RMB
Guess what
Did you know that someone’s birthday is today?
?
😮
s
?
For real?
In the story where is that?
Check Kanami's dorm bios.
Wait for kanami dorm
The majority of player base: lore is temporary ||redacted|| bait is eternal
i have a crazy theory
hear me out
remember that 1 comic about lilith's day and the "strinovan way of life"
what if she adapts her own appearance based on what she observes the strinova people doing
(if so, why can she shapeshift)
that's legit the only thing i can think of 💀
because of that 1 comic
like the clothes are supposed to be her anyways
i have no other idea other than she can shapeshift somehow for the above reason
yes 😔
oh my god im more confused now
i just saw the last panel again of the lilith's day
SHE'S NOT WEARING ANYTHING (except the towel)
how????
sorry yall i am so confused by how this works aaaaaa
Is there a full lore about outbreak
Like what it is
Why are there crystallines and why are we as a superstrings fighting against it
Do you ever think that multiple characters other than Eika (e.g. Chiyo) was born in Strinova
Most of the cast were born on earth (e.g. Lawine and Michele)
But some have evidence of being born in Strinova. For example, assume that Earth collapsed no more than 15 years ago and people migrated to it on that timeframe, how could Chiyo's clan build their home?
There are also the elders of the clan
it's kinda contradicting, since we know to move to strinova one must be printed by the artists to form their body
The lore in the wiki for the event stuff. We only know is they are from strin and they do not like us
I see
The main antagonist of the game... is Kokona.
Hehe, he is my favorite boii

LMAOOO
This is so accurate
Kanami Baimo are the most used meme in China instead Kokona. This is my first time seeing Kokona Baimo meme lolll

Imagine if he was a crystalline
I saw a meme/image of kanami shooting at Baimo
And she blew a kiss at him
Ohh i know thatt
Yea lolll
Kanami easily killing him xD
Yes. XD

Yeahh
Nice
Mhm
I wish the dev make more about Baimo story xD
That fanart looks good tbh, its funny

The document have a lot of flaws
to be fair, the lore is
I don't think devs made the lore good enough
hopefully the lore will be fixed
given the ai push, i doubt it
remind me again about the use of their ages
in-game, they don't tell their ages, but the wiki still lists them and stuff
IIRC, that's datamined info.
some characters are the age that's displayed. Like Eika and Michele. Some are far older... like Meredith who's about 100
I belie ve that the age is when they awaken superstring powers and technically stop aging
my guess is it's a guideline for the character style
ye they go to the body shop and ask: "ah, id like a 16 year old, female and pink hair please"
Not saying it's for the characters (but that may also work) but it's for the artists
Or it's a beta scrap
if these are beta scraps then leona shouldn't be there, unless they prep it way before during early developments
No :(😔
still the ages of them i mean
It's datamined but nobody knows why its in the files at all
probably were gonna use it then didn’t
Yeah but if they're not gonna use it why do they keep adding it?
they probably are, the dorms aren’t even fully finished on cn but it’s pretty evident that the ages are canon as they add for more characters
Kokona is 17, celestia is 18 but there is a bit of text (RAF can you help me with it, please?) that says kokona is older than celestia.
As I said, possibly design notes for/from their artists.
If they were canon, you'd think it'd be added into the extended in-game intros they added in Season 5. But they aren't.
Welp it's vague enough that it's not (but obviously still is) celestia if you know the lore.
I'm more inclined to think that Crux's explanation of those age numbers being essentially "age reference for art design purposes" seems more plausible given the weirdness of how aging works in Strinova (as in we don't know exactly how it works except it's not entirely real-world logic) and discrepancies like the Kokona and Celestia thing.
They at least did not write themselves in a corner. Easy to retcon it
i’m gonna ask nova about it
The kokona and celestia thing can be easily retconned though. Yes we know it's celestia but since it ain't explicit, it can be changed to someone
will let you guys know the reply
Probably Reichi (Jan 5)
Another male fanart, girl fanservice yes yes

yup its Reichi next
Come to think of it Maddelena and that Star Rail girl do share something in common
which hsr girl? the raccoon?
I'm guessing the one named March 7th
The one in my pfp
oh march. i thought we were talking about design
stelle is much closer in color palette
lmao

Nice

Sort by date
Looking at it this way, there is no one born in June
Unless. It would be the new agent
Wait
Does Lilith have a birthday?
?
Ohhh audrey is a leo
not atm
she does
june 6th
Yall should really treat lilith as just another superstring
Except you cant use her in normal gamemodes
lilith
New character?
New crystaline
yes
Its Lilith
June 6th

galatea magic number, 2/22
The Seven Demons theory ain't so far off after all.
"i just cant resist my instincts"
😭
why she gotta say it like that
nice lore drop "her feeling of incompleteness" is what drives her

But then again, the crystallines could just be the 7 sins

she is a demon of lust or gluttony?
7 deadly sins
Hell nah
We're getting isekai Outbreak lore type shit before Urbino sniper
😭
all seven sins are born of desire
but how does one desire
Corny ass seven deadly sins adaptation
Corn???
Is there a spot I can find the whole lore of this game?
If you're OK with lots of text, best place is this. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ASa7Q-CshHO-Y_Dr2Qk92RXn3AOjs71cLMX6O96joUQ/edit?usp=drivesdk
