To me, it's definitely a lot to do with the in-game story doing a terrible job at giving adequate background knowledge of Strinova as a world.

Tbh, I find that quality of execution pretty lax too

If we take the recent Spring Blessings event, I found the dialogue extremely cheesy and clichéd, and the finishing animation (fireworks going off) extremely unpolished

In the current Dreamscape Park (or whatever) event, I find the DMs dialogue to have similar issues

String Theory is basically a theoretical framework that implies that everything is a vibration sequence.
Sequence nodes are basically, in a way, Macros
So what did they actually do? Save vibrations into electronical data? It's possible but the hard part is that String Theory vibrations are basically a higher version of the Qubit (Quantum unit that is used in supercomputers to be able to use both 0 and 1 at the same time)
The explanation sounds like making a computer try to simulate perfect entropy (which can't be done by computers since they follow order)

Calabi-Yau manifold are complex manifolds used in geometry and superstring theory.
Not really sure where the name Strinova comes from but it mixes string and nova and fits the theme.
