For the Strivova Closed Beta Test: Quark, we’ve made some updates and optimizations to the game.

Updates:

1. Tactical items are now freely swappable based on battle needs.
2. The ranked system and Ranked Demolition mode are now available, while Normal Demolition mode is disabled.
3. Many new skins and main weapon designs are available for you to try.
4. The game is now also available on Steam.

Optimizations:

1. Improved the match system for more balanced battles.
2. Enhanced language matching logic; client language will auto-sync with launcher language.
3. Improved English and Japanese text display. Some adaptation issues may occur, and we will continue to improve text quality.

Fixes:

1. Fixed an issue causing download failures for replays in [Career] - [Match History].
2. Fixed abnormal playback speed of some English dialogues in [Tutorial].
3. Fixed an issue where some interfaces couldn't be exited using the "ESC" key.
4. Fixed an issue making the “Flashbang” ineffective.

Quark Test Known Issues

Currently, the following issues are occurring in the game:

1. When opening or closing the in-game customer service interface, there may be instances where clicking the button has no response. If this occurs, please try clicking the button multiple times or completely close and reopen the customer service window.
2. In Escort Mode, players may get stuck in certain situations when Stringifying and sticking on to the payload.
3. When switching to the [Ranked] tab under the [Career] menu, an abnormal display might briefly appear due to page initialization before showing the correct ranked data.
4. Some text may have incomplete translations, exceed display boundaries, or be partially hidden. We are continuously investigating and optimizing these issues.
5. When joining another player's game room, you cannot manually enter the room code; you must use copy-paste.

We apologize for any inconvenience these issues may cause and will continue to improve related features for a better experience.

About Strinova Region Lock

Hey Navigators! We've received your feedback regarding region locking and want to provide a transparent update.

Why Region Locking?

Region locking is currently implemented to optimize network performance and address significant ping issues that can negatively impact gameplay quality when players from different regions connect. This is not a bug.

Addressing Cross-Region Play:

We understand that separating regions goes against Strinova's core philosophy of enabling players to connect freely. As many of you noted, regions were open during the closed beta. However, the resulting ping discrepancies significantly impacted gameplay.

We're working on a solution that balances these concerns. Our current plan is to allow Navigators to play with others from different regions, prioritizing the ability to play with friends. To maintain a positive gameplay experience, we'll implement a ping limit and prevent region changing.

📢 Cross-Region Partying Update 📢

Hey Navigators!

We've heard your feedback loud and clear about region lock / cross-region partying. Since launch, many of you have been asking for this feature back, and we appreciate your patience. Devs have been hard at work discussing and evaluating the best way to reintroduce it, and we're excited to announce that cross-region partying is currently in development! We're aiming to have it live by December 20th. This involves some significant server-side changes and will require downtime for implementation, so we need to ensure we have ample time for thorough testing and preparation.

Why did we disable it in the first place?

During the Superstring Beta, we discovered that cross-region partying could unfortunately lead to high latency issues. This not only impacted individual players but also negatively affected the overall match quality for everyone involved. In some cases, it even prevented players from loading into the arena, forcing everyone back into the queue. Since cross-region parties represented less than 5% of all matches at the time, we made the tough decision to temporarily disable the feature for the Open Beta to ensure a smoother experience for the majority of players.

What's our solution?

We're building upon what we learned during the Superstring Beta and optimizing cross-region partying. We'll be re-enabling it with some important additions: latency warnings and restrictions to prevent a single player's connection from impacting the entire match. You'll be able to invite friends from different regions to party up, but if anyone's latency exceeds a predetermined threshold, the party won't be able to queue for matchmaking (custom games will still be available). We'll continue to monitor performance and adjust the latency limit as needed based on data and network conditions.
