Dorm will respond with a prompt and instructions on how to link your Strinova account. This typically involves clicking a link and logging into your in-game account to authorize the connection. Follow the on-screen instructions provided by the bot.

  • /level: View your server level and achievements.
  • /profile: View your in-game profile.
  • /update: Refresh your Strinova account data on Discord.
  • /daily: Claim your daily XP.

Dorm Bot Linking Guide for Steam/ Epic & Third-Party Users

Hello Navigators! Please carefully review the following instructions when linking your Strinova account to the Dorm bot:

Steam Users:

  • Account Registration during Initial Steam/ Epic Login: The first time you log in to Strinova using Steam/ Epic, the launcher will prompt you to register a Strinova account and link it to your Steam/ Epic account. Afterward, you won't need to log in to Strinova again when launching via Steam.
  • Discord Bot Linking: When using the /link command, enter the Strinova Email and password you created during your initial Steam/ Epic login. Do not use your Steam/ Epic credentials.
  • Forgotten Password: If you've forgotten your Strinova password or the original email you use for register, click "Forgot Password" on the login page after using the /link command. Reset your password and use the /link command again with your new credentials.

Third-Party Account Users (Google/X/Facebook):

  • Discord Bot Linking: When using the /link command, click the corresponding icon for the third-party platform (Google/X/Facebook) you originally used to register your Strinova account. This will ensure the correct account is linked to the bot. Please note: Even if the email address you used for direct registration in the launcher is a Gmail address, this does not automatically mean you should use the Google login option. You must use the same login method you originally used to register your Strinova account.

Incorrect Linking or Encounter Any Issues:

  • If you encounter any issues or you accidentally choose the wrong login method, please click here to fill out the online form, indicating that you need to unlink your account. Include a screenshot as proof. We will help you unlink within two business day.

Please be aware: Steam/ Epic users must use their registered Strinova credentials. Third-party users must use the same platform they used for initial registration.

We are continuously updating our bot based on your feedback. Your input is greatly appreciated!

We've received reports concerning a recent incident involving cheating accusations, doxxing, and abusive behavior. We're taking this very seriously and are currently conducting a thorough investigation.

Important Note: Doxxing and abusive behavior are never acceptable, regardless of the outcome of the cheating investigation. There's no excuse for this kind of behavior in our community.

This incident has shown us the need for clearer rules and stronger enforcement. We've updated our server rules to be more specific about what's not allowed and the consequences for breaking them. 📢 Server Announcement 📢

Hey Navigators,

Over the past two weeks, we've received concerning reports on toxic behaviors within our community. Due to the seriousness of the situation, and for the sake of transparency, I wish to announce the two situations. But I will omit any player information for privacy reasons.

**Case I: **about three weeks ago, we received reports of a cheating accusation levied against a player. Moreover, a group of players have taken it upon themselves to harass, smurf, and abuse the suspect. After a thorough investigation, this player has been confirmed cheating, and, as per Terms of Services, has been banned. HOWEVER, this does NOT excuse the players who harassed and attacked the suspect. More, the group was led by a high ranking player, who undertook such 'witchhunt' and exhibited racism and other zero-tolerance behaviors in their streams as well as in-game communication. The ringleader of the group will be issued a temporary ban. If this group continues this behaviors, we will issue more serious punishment, including perma bans.

**Case II: **about two weeks ago, we received report of suspect cheating and smurfing against one of our pro coaches. We learned that although no evidence was found on cheating, the player has created alt-accounts and performed smurfing game behaviors. As leaders of the community, we must hold ourselves to higher standard, and the disregard to the game ecosystem is disappointing. We will revoke their status as pro coach and issue a temporary ban.

These two cases are serious because they involved our community leaders and top players. I want to emphasize this right here: toxic behaviors are not excusable, no matter how good someone is at the game. Being a top player does not give them the right to police the ecosystem, especially not attack and insult other players. They do NOT represent Strinova.

As per Guru's last announcement early this year, I want to underscore these points:

Suspect Cheating? Report it Right: If you think someone is cheating, report it directly to customer support (by email or in-game customer support portal) or dm @azure pumice . Do not take matters into your own hands, harass them, or launch a witch-hunt.

Zero Tolerance for Doxxing & Abuse: Doxxing, threats, intimidation, and hateful language are strictly forbidden and will result in serious consequences.

Respect Everyone: Treat all community members with respect, no matter their skill level or rank.

I want to close the announcement by saying, despite these issues, we are also swarmed with kindness, support, and love by our navigators. Your love and passion for Strinova is what inspires us, and you are why we are here. ❤️ We want to create an inclusive space for everyone, so please treat each other with kindness. On Wintrading and Boosting

Hey Navigators,

Over the past months, we have observed the disturbing cases of wintrading and boosting. Led by a couple of bad actors, the situation has spread to multiple servers and communities. This is not acceptable. This announcement is to emphasize and transparently state the situation, as well as the official responses.

  • Wintrading or Boosting violate Strinova Terms of Service. In the cases where money is involved, this elevates the situation above simple violation. The actors who engage in such activities not only are not welcome to our community and game, but are liable. As such, they will be met with harsh punishment.

  • This case has been going on for a while. The reason why we were hesitant for punishment is because we wanted to confirm the cases before punishment. But thanks to active members of our community who has collected pages upon pages of evidence, it is now clear that these actors are actively undermining our ecosystem. The ringleader will face a 10 years ban, and all other members will face temp bans as well. If that individual makes another account, that account will also be banned. To that specific individual: you are not welcome here. We will do hardware bans if this individual continues his activities.

  • Let this be a precedence, if you undermine the fairness of the game, you will be punished accordingly.

  • Lastly, we want to give thanks for the community members who brought this to light, especially @azure pumice @lime wave @tawny lichen and our Mod Team. Thank you for your patience as we take care of this case. I want to emphasize again, if you find a case of wintrading or toxic behaviors, do not harass them. Instead bring them to light and notify our team.

Dear Navigators,

The Strinova Dev Team will never reach out to members within the community through DMs to send test builds. All testing projects are communicated and operated through the official Strinova discord server.

Suspected scam content can be easily reported to @dire panther for us to take actions from our end before they affect other community members.

When you receive a DM from someone, please ask yourself if:
1- You're familiar with the person? If not, check mutuals. Someone without mutuals may be a member that has been banned from communities or your profile is targetted for spam.
2- They're asking you to do something. If something they said makes you take an action like clicking a link, joining a server or etc. Then it may be spam
3- They're causing discomfort. Setup boundaries early and see if they're often being stepped over. They may be rude or is trying to meet their own agenda

You can always report members without opening a ticket by following the instructions here #contact-mods. The next available mod will handle your case appropriately and confirm if the user is spam or not.

Reporting Cheaters

Dear Navigators,

I would like to reiterate the importance of reporting game violations. All games are actively monitored by detection systems within Strinova however there are bound to be tools and exploits that bypass these measures.

To report violators please capture evidence and forward it to customer support. For steps on how to reach out to them, you may visit #player-support . Additionally, you can contact @dire panther to submit reports too however we cannot guarantee when the player may be actioned.

Neither me, or any of the mods have direct influence over the game despite our positions within the community. We've volunteered to keep the Discord Community safe and that we are currently proud to present. So do not directly DM any of us for cases we cannot handle.

While we allow members to share their match experiences within the community, we'd like to remind everyone that slander against individuals even if they are in-game, is against the Discord community guidelines and will be actioned on appropriately. If you're a witness or a victim to violating contents, always remember that your reports remain anonymous from the public and that you can use the report commands listed in #contact-mods for help anytime without direct contact with moderators.
