I have over 150 hours on this game and obviously enjoy it! I was super excited to see that there was an fairly big update today and hopped on as soon as I could. I was very disappointed with the experience of the alarm system. They add no real value to the gameplay and are extremely obnoxious. After playing for a couple hours, we had to start enforcing a server rule to not use the alarms. Multiple people (including myself) stopped playing the game due to this new feature. Please add the option to disable alarms or remove them from the game all together.

They make for great distractions for the dissident to get away with stuff though (maybe making the alarm slightly less obnoxiously loud?)
If the dev’s goal of alarms is to give the dissidents a distraction, there are just so many options that would be better (see among us as an example). Having them less obnoxious would be ok but I’m just not a fan of having a sabotage mechanic that functions by just being loud. We already have cassettes for that but at least those are music!
Haha fair point, and the cassette also doubles as shandy weapon
i tested the alarm range, machine alarm went off, and i could still hear (faintly) from the back corner of botany, it should be nerfs to only be heard from the washing room in botany
