#Will this game run on the MAC version of Steam?

Side note: I know this question is probably blasphemous lol, but it's what I have until I fix my PC.
No question is silly!
Running Windows Steam games on macOS is a bit more challenging than on say Linux ( Linux has great Proton compatibility and I use it a ton on my other computer with Arch Linux ) but there are still some ways to get Windows games running on a Mac.
Crossover is a a good application based on Wine that allows you to run Windows software on macOS. It supports many Windows games and provides an easier interface for setting them up compared to using Wine directly. You can download and install Crossover, then use it to install and run Steam. From there, you can install and run Windows games.
Keep in mind that the game does not officially support Mac and all games are different. So any issues you have is on you!
Also keep in mind your hardware. When you do stuff like this your hardware may not be adequate enough to do this.
But give it a try. But if you are looking to find a perfect way to play, and were looking to purchase the game for Mac use. I would say no just to save the devs any questions lol.
We'll take the time to look at it at some point, but we're not promising anything because graphics compatibility can sometimes be a problem.
I’m also hoping to play this 🙃 Have you already found a way of playing it on Mac?
The dev answered above.
Duo boot Windows/MacOS.
(Not possible on Apple Silicon)
Ditch your Mac for a PC then ^^
Seems you can install Windows with Parallels on Silicon.
Yeah I have Parallels, I might try it that way 🙂 I hope the graphics are okay.
1000$ on it won't work. Try and tell us please.
Is the apple bootcamp not supported on newer mac's?
I used to use a 2019 imac and using bootcamp (which comes with mac as a default application) I created a duo boot and was able to fully run windows 10
It was actually really effective. Had some bugs I needed to get rid of but windows is pretty adaptable when it comes to different technology. But then again that was the newest mac I used
If you do decide to do this make sure to install it with your headphones unplugged. I spent 2 years without sound from speakers or headphones and had to use Bluetooth speakers just to find out I needed to install windows without my headphones plugged in
Bootcamp is only for Macs with Intel CPU as I understand.
That would make more sense
Hi, Does anyone tried on whisky ?
I don't have a mac so i don't know if this will work but I heard about Asahi linux, a distro made for silicon Macs
and after a little bit of search, it seems to be able to run steam games
Whisky is an open source version of Crossover ya. Crossover is better but is paid software.
Linux has more compatibility then Mac though via Proton Experimental
Running this game on macbook pro m1 with Whiskey app. Its work well. But think will great to add macOS version in steam.
Sorry to necopost but how did you manage to get the mic to work?
I didn’t do anything. Its work default. If u mean turn on/off mic on mac when you playing. Im playing with mouse, which have a scroller. Scroller turning on/off mic. Like scroll-up turn on, scroll down turn off
the game doesnt pick up my mic when i play. odd.
You using Whisky app?
yeah
Try to give mic permissions to that app in mac settings
😄 have a good game)
