cross play would absolutely kill console markets.

PC has mods / bots / and pc has an endless issue with players making 30+ accounts on a single pc.

To multibox on consoles you actually must have multiple consoles and multiple controllers, which isn't the case for pc.
PC has dupes that are exploited to an extreme degree, plus a marketplace rediculously inflated due to said dupes / botters / ease of gameplay with mods.

If crossplay was added between the consoles then that wouldnt be so bad. But with how trove is currently, pc players would completely overtake and control all of the economy if pc was mixed with the consoles.

Also while there is some posts everynow and then for real money trade on consoles, its far more on pc.

Consoles can't use the /getworldid /joinworldid commands as easy as pc (we literally have to type the command a few times to memorize the number chain at the bottom of the screen and set a quick chat to use it.

Consoles dont have auto invite etc. Our invites are broken more often than not where when we accept an invite it will give a message stating 'you cannot join player' or something close to that.

To get around it, we have to add people to friends list or clublist and join via those.
Though friendslist also breaks - shows most players as offline often. So we use clublist to join players.

Console has an inventory bug where when we click on an item in the inventory to place in the tradepost / marketplace clicking on the item will sometimes show some other item instead, or just not do -anything- so we have a few different ways to get around it.. sometimes.

They should have xbox and playstation crossplay tho

TL;DR There is many things that need to made parity between them, and bugs fixed on consoles, before crossplay would ever be good.
