I'm not op but as a fellow realistic mc haver: yes, proportions do a lot, especially the nose in my opiniion + facial structure.
I myself also gave m mc a bit of skin texture and chose subtle eye shadow that looks like natural shading on skin like op did here as well I assume

if you're willing to spend like 200 jades you can try out and save a second face you can literally start from your current face as base and if you like it save it to a different face slot.
Actually when I first started the game I played really late and was impatient and overwhelmed by the customization, my first face was horrible haha.
Next day I sat down for a long time and fixed it with this 200jades ticket xd

Also not OP, but this is the same strat I did for my MC too! Some contour and bronzer brings out more depth to their faces. I added just the slightest of wrinkles to get natural texture. It shows amazing in photo mode, I can't help but stare at some of my captures 🙈

I would never replace her face! I just love messing with character creators and it would be nice to have another option to play around with, probably something more softer and motherly as opposed to my current lady's evilness ✨ thank you for the tips and compliments!

Gonna be so real, with respect, the first picture on the left of the initial thread looks A LOT like Ben Stiller in Zoolander to me, mostly due to the tied-back hair and headband.
