Absolutely amazing art direction and visual design. The world is masterfully created as well. English voice acting isn't great but passable, and Chinese voice acting is pretty good as far as i can tell. My biggest gripe is the lack of settings when starting up the game. Feels weird you can't change accessibility settings, audio levels, graphics, keybinds or voice language until after finishing the tutorial. Im super happy that they've finally added the option to pause dialogues so we have time to read, now i'd love if we could go return to previous pages during feedback forms. The boss designs and everything else is amazing and i story is extremely intriguing as well. I'm in loe with the game for sure ❤️

Congrats on half a million! Overall the biggest standout for me when I downloaded WWM was the sheer amount of content and expansive world. I never expected so much to actually do in the way of sidequests, optional stuff and actual difficult bossfights on legend. Every moment in the Jianghu has been a pleasant surprise and I was waiting eons for a game based around Wuxia principals like this. I'm looking forward to where the game goes.
If I had any advice - it's play the game in the way you want. You don't need to rush levelling, or get to endgame like in a traditional MMO. Take full advantage of that and have fun like I did, cheers.

To me, WWM is hands down the best game ever created. My vibe is very immersive and solo-focused: I love getting lost in the Jianghu, customizing my character, and diving into the lore of every NPC and Boss.
The gameplay variety is amazing. I enjoy the combat in Hero Realms, but also the unique identities like acting as a Doctor or Orator (Debater). But the highlight for me are the "Kung Fu Hustle" references! They remind me so much of my dad (I even introduced him to the game). It’s such a fun way to experience Chinese culture.
What I hope to see next: Since I love the narrative so much, I’d love to see more deep solo story content, more interactions with NPCs, and maybe more movie easter eggs! love the game! ❤️

Review: Beautiful game, the setting is stunningly rendered, the world feels connected and alive, the stories of the people who have lived in this world are carved into every rock and blade of grass. This is clearly a game made with love and respect for the people that really demonstrates the meaning of jianghu.
My main hope for the future is tea houses so my young master can sit down for a cup of tea while listening to people talking in the background. I think it would add just that extra touch of interaction with the world that would make it feel even more whole.

The world, the art, the atmosphere… everything feels amazing and really pulls you in. I’ve been enjoying every moment so far. This game is a 10/10. From its' visual prowess and fidelity, to the combat and sheer amount of content, Where Winds Meet is practically a game that is too good to exist. Not to mention the games' biggest attention grabbing factor, it has absolutely ZERO pay to win, while being a FREE-TO-PLAY game. Seriously, if you would have presented me with this game 5 years ago, my first thought would have been 'I bet it is highly P2W'. And I would have either brushed past it, or downloaded expecting to be met with unfathomable whales with crazy power. WWM has done the exact opposite of that. Truthfully, I came to this game because the combat looked enticing. I had just finished Expedition 33 recently and had loved the parrying system. This game made me feel the exact same exhilaration that I had while playing Clair Obscur. There is genuinely so much to be said about this game. I'm sure I can speak for every single player when I say I can't wait for what's in store for WWM. Whatever comes next I know will be surely fantastic. See y'all in the Jianghu

Its been great so far! Aside from lag and having to restart sometimes, everything else has been awesome. I spent hours in customization alone! The world feels so real, it's one of the few games I feel totally immersed in!
The stories in this game is probably my favorite part.
Everywhere I go, I think "Ruby would have loved this" or "Ruby would have loved to try this treat!". I feel like a lost a little sister... that's amazing. 😭
Then when I thought nothing could beat that moment, the main story in Kaifeng, the scene after beating the God of Avarice got me again.
After that, I thought, "No more tears! T ime to experience the Jianghu in all it's epicness!"
Then I finished the "One Leaf, One Life" sidequest and I'm crying again! There's too many onion-cutting ninjas in the Jianghu! 🥺
One good story in a game is expected. Two feels like a treat. Three? Four? I can't believe how immersed and emotional I feel towards the common folk of Kaifeng. It's amazing what you guys did here.
After all that, the combat feels like the cherry on top. Beating the bosses on legend difficulty was a very very satisfying experience. I love fighting them, Tian Ying being my favorite. I love his lore and tragic romance with Li ZhengZheng. I want to know more about the man, and hope to see him again in the future!
Also photo mode is amazing and I find myself spending hours just to take that perfect shot! I hope to see more emotes and places to sit at (like the swings and chairs in the many gardens and pavilions in Velvet Shade!)

The game is amazing, I was really surprised & enjoy. Dont know if I can write something here or not, but I want to share some thoughts:
Good: hard to show good things in the game because almost everything are good, so not much to say.
Bad: some aspects can be better I think
- Teleport & lightness skills make the game less reality, but lightness skills are so good to remove 😅 . I think a transporting system like the game Black Desert is more realistic, but it's useless if not remove lightness skills and I dont want to remove lightness skills 😅 .
- Horse is almost useless, we only need horse at the beginning of new map until we can fly. Besides, teleport function make horse useless too, so why need to buy horse appearance ???
- There are some small bugs I think, but not affect much: using Taichi in a small place like a small cave can make me fall into unaccessible area like an abyss outside the cave and die 😭 ; Chinese chess (xiangqi) AI is bad, they repeat same check mate continuously until I can't wait anymore and click to surrender 😭 ...
- Mahjong's view while playing is not good, it should be bird's-eye view, and 20s to think is a bit short.
- Should add some missing percent into Pitch Pot based on Resolve, almost 100% accuracy while drunk seems illogical. Ai should miss too.
- I can stay on the roof and not make enemy alert, it's ok while I crouch, but standing on the roof & not make enemy alert is illogical. It's better if adjust the enemy's view function like the game Desperados...
- Some skills are useless. Glow of Fireflies is almost not needed, Veil of Stillness is totally useless.
- Should add some more daily mini-game counts (like daily chess with Ye Buxiu) because after finish all mini-games on the map, cant play anymore (like wrestling) or playing without any benefit (some rewards like Ye Buxiu game are enough).
Maybe more, but that's all for now. Thanks for a very good game.

Where Winds Meet started off as a way for me to just kill time and try a new game. After the Qing Ye incident, I was hooked. Absolutely amazing storytelling, lots of metaphors and life lessons, and the boss battles are engaging and fun. The side stories end up with more content than most games fully fleshed out (Looking at you, One Leaf, One Life) and exploration can get rather addicting.
All in all, I think the popularity and accessibllity of this game, in addition to its' current monetization structure is going to set precedent for future games in the 'gacha'-like ARPG / Live service games in general, which is extremely healthy for the consumers (us.), and ends up working out better than most Pay to Play / Full Service games.
I sincerely hope the developers maintain this level of excellence and dedication to the global playerbase.

A beautiful experience, even on the lowest settings, and one I can easily recommend all to give a chance to, even if just running around the world itself! Also I’ve never played this type of game before . I get bored very easily and I’ve never been good at “map tracking”, finding directions , or followings so many quests and storyline (the type of person to spam skip storylines in games)
But when I tried this game out (genuinely thought I’d delete it after 2-3 hours like every other game I’ve tried) ,, I was so.. drawn in? The storyline , I hardly could skip
Finding directions/ map tracking was still new and hard for me. I locked in, and learned it. I’m so invested in the storyline . I love how there could be solo mode, co op and multiplayer . I don’t have to see a bunch of people when I don’t wanna see them
But I can meet people when I wanna meet them. I love how it’s not p2w, it makes me more willing to spend .

Honestly, my gameplay experience so far has been super immersive. The combat feels smooth, movement is fluid, and the world design really pulls you in, especially when you start exploring deeper areas. Every fight feels impactful, and those intense moments where everything clicks together are insanely satisfying. Big props to the dev team for the atmosphere and pacing.
What I love most is how the game lets you play your own style, whether it’s aggressive, tactical, or just pure exploration. Performance has been solid on my end, and the visuals + sound design really elevate the whole experience.
Looking ahead, I’d love to see more endgame content, deeper build customization, and maybe some new enemy types or challenging modes to really test skill and strategy. Quality-of-life improvements and more social & community features would also be amazing.
Overall, WWM is heading in a really strong direction, and I’m excited to see how it evolves. Can’t wait for what’s next.

I had so much fun in the main storyline and exploring I never slowed down to appreciate the world building and depth behind Qinghe. In fact, there's so much content whilst 100%ing I haven't even begun Kaifeng with 130 hours lol!
Also can't wait to see the Roaring Tides since they seem cool.

Vergisst man mal für einen Moment, dass es free2play ist, dann fühlt es sich an wie ein aufwendig bezahltes AAA-Meisterwerk: Die Landschaften, die Städte, die Architektur, die Story – alles wirkt wie ein lebendiges Gemälde. Man bleibt ständig irgendwo stehen, nur um die Aussicht zu genießen, und dann fällt einem wieder ein: Stimmt… das ist wirklich free2play.
Dazu kommen die Mechaniken: Movement, Combat, die ganzen Kombos, die man miteinander verknüpfen kann – man hat das Gefühl, sich im Spiel wirklich frei bewegen und ausdrücken zu können. Man springt, gleitet, kämpft, experimentiert und merkt dabei, wie viel Liebe ins Gameplay geflossen ist. Und das in einem free2play-Game, in dem man sich nicht wie in einem Cashgrab vorkommt, sondern wie in einer offenen Welt, die einen einfach machen lässt.
Das Gefängnissystem ist nochmal ein eigenes Highlight. Zum ersten Mal in einem Spiel hat man richtig Bock, „freiwillig“ ins Gefängnis zu gehen, einfach weil es lustig, kreativ und irgendwie typisch WWM ist. Es fühlt sich nicht wie eine nervige Strafe an, sondern wie ein weiteres System, das zeigt, wie viel Humor und Ideenreichtum im Spiel steckt – und ja, auch das ist einfach Teil dieses free2play-Erlebnisses.
Was WWM aber wirklich besonders macht, ist die Community. Klar, es gibt wie überall auch mal schwierige Leute, aber überwiegend trifft man hier auf hilfsbereite, entspannte und lustige Spieler. Man baut sich mit der Zeit seine kleine Ingame-Familie auf, teilt Wissen, hilft sich gegenseitig bei Quests, Builds, Bossen – ganz selbstverständlich. Dieses „Wir sitzen im selben Boot“-Gefühl ist in einem free2play-Game nicht selbstverständlich.
Und dann sind da noch die Admins, insbesondere Arda. Man merkt, dass da jemand mit Herzblut dabei ist, präsent ist, zuhört und versucht, das Beste aus der Community und dem Spiel herauszuholen. Genau solche Menschen prägen das Erlebnis und machen WWM zu mehr als nur einem Zeitvertreib. Am Ende bleibt das Gefühl: Dieses Spiel begleitet einen, prägt einen, und man vergisst immer wieder, dass es eigentlich „nur“ ein free2play-Titel ist.

My favorite feature of this game is the separation of Solo and Online play. It's just so nice to be allowed to choose when I want to enjoy it solo and when to join others. Wish more games did this! When it comes to the Wuxia-setting, it's just so chef's kiss. I feel like I'm playing in the world of the Condor Heroes, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Iron Monkey, Storm Riders, and any other Wuxia setting in one. Looking forward to more story in the future and I hope there will be more martial arts too later. I miss a good controller build more focused on disabling and controlling opponents. Maybe centered around Tai Chi? Anyway, keep up the good work!

Need to make the draws better. I spent £27 on 10 draws and only got some fireworks. There needs to be at least something a little more exciting for that amount of money. I know the game is free to play but honestly the draw system is really dangerous. I won’t do it again. Love the game and the game play it’s honestly the best game I’ve played. Saying that I’ve done all the quests and I am feeling like why more can I do now? Grateful for the immersion and the beauty of the game. The boss fights are amazing. Exploration is good. Overall really enjoy it. Just not for broke people like me. I love my outfits and cosmetics. The system with the time gated content and levelling is also a little off putting. I want to level up and be powerful and get the best weapons so I can be a force to be reckoned with and I’m not getting that feeling of getting stronger. Frustrating I can’t get a better weapon and I’m capped at 56 at the moment.

Definetly enjoying the game, Im not even done with kaifengs storyline yet and im just enjoying fighting bosses. Unfortunately im too far from region servers for good pvp ping but i went upto master and it was good. Rn completing abyss trials and chatting on discord is my vibe. Want to see more complex bosses like wolf maiden, less gimmick bosses although they can also be fun. I hope they add rare encounters for valuable items like those wuxia manhwas u happen on a master or a book and gain a powerful martial art.

So many things about this game have provided great joy - triple jump, lightness skills, tai-chi fishing etc. The photo mode is also great to use.
The music is fantastic (though the intro song could be a little bit quieter!) and the sound and animations are also great.
I'm keen to see what the future brings for the game, but one thing I would like to see is a change in upkeep management for small casual guilds (5 or less people playing 3-4 hours a week).

I really enjoy how much there is to do as a solo player. A lot of games trap story around a pay wall so its refreshing to have access to it. I love doing small missions and coming across encounters, especially with the rat group.
The one thing I would change is the use of ai. Ai can be a bit predictable so to just have dialogue options without the use of ai. I think it would make the game feel more authentic for me.
That being said, I enjoy the game thoroughly and I'm hoping to see the Inkbound order in the next update.

Hey, this game is an absolute banger! Story solo mode is awesome and really entertaining, especially on the legend difficulty. Being a free game and also surpassing limits of other world exploration RPGs is a high honor. I'm not sure if there are clan wars, but if no, I really would like to see them, something like 10 people against 10 other guild people doing KOTH or capturing flags of each other to accumulate points and win prizes, Also, more mystic skills and martial arts of course in the future.
Also, a good idea is to do weekly patches, they are not meant to bring a lot of things, but you could fix bugs there, nerf overpowered things or buff something that should be stronger to keep the game alive and up to date, whilst working on something global behind the scenes (i.e. new regions, stories and so on). Keep working hard, this game is very good and it for sure has a lot of potential in the future too with more things coming all the time. Good luck!

Where Winds Meet is an amazing game! I'm addicted, but I have a really useful idea for the game, especially for healers. Can you guys, please, put in the co-op request the motive why I'm requesting? Eg: a user needs healing, i request co-op to heal but the user refuses because he doesn't know that I'm a healer. It would be a very good detail to help people understand why I'm requesting co-op.

Honestly, Where Winds Meet surprises me every time I play.
The exploration feels super smooth, the combat has that true wuxia energy, and the visual atmosphere is just stunning.
Between the open landscapes, parkour movement, and martial techniques, it really feels like being in an epic Chinese wuxia movie!

Thank you for making me 10 years younger WWM. When I play this game it’s like Im back at highschool exploring the vast world of a unique MMO. Even better since wuxia is my favorite genre. WWM had insane amount of content and things to do at launch and I can’t wait for what comes next.
What I particularly love about this game is the “no FOMO” approach making it accessible even for people who already work full time and don’t want to, or can’t, sacrifice adult responsibilities. Making it a healthy relationship between a player and the game. Which ultimately results in me not dropping this game ever.
Last thing that blew my mind was Five animal frolics and that it is a real exercise I actually learned irl at my uni. I definitely didnt put down my controller and didnt start exercising.
What I hope to see next in WWM. This is actually some random ideas I had when I was playing.
- Non-combat utility pets (picking up loot, finding gifts,…)
- Housing with purpose (dojo with training dummy, calligraphy room with minigame, etc)
- More qigong and taichi exercises so I can continue learning at home irl 😂

This game has so much variety!! I think my favourite part are the mini games and the healing system, but the wuxia vibe is by far what got me hooked. Really immersive. So far, I've spent most of my time just doing doctor things, which is honestly a lot of fun and a good way to connect with other players without it feeling inorganic.
I hope to, maybe, see a bit more co-op options. I think I get why solo mode is somewhat limited, but I mainly installed the game to play with a friend. Hoping campaign stuff can be shared at some point ^^

I've been playing a lot since I got laid off and honestly this game has been so fun and a nice reward after spending all day being depressed after looking at the bleak job market.... BUT LOOK AT THE GOOSE PLUSHIE it's SOOO cute please my heart is already warm!! I've also been able to spend a lot of bonding time with my dad playing this game, we've been playing together since I was young and he LOVES this game, especially since he can understand the game play a lot as he's Chinese~~
I sincerely hope we get a lot more quests, and appearance rewards that can be earned through without having to spend money on games (please be kind to the unemployed) as well as future collaborations that we get to see in game!
