This new quest is basically unplayable on PS5. It’s not just the village section that keeps crashing and freezing. I had to get through that part on my phone, and after switching back to PS5, the sections afterward still crash constantly. 😂 😂 😂

I kept being disconnected from gvg last night on ps5 even with full Internet connection. Each match for the last 3 weeks some1 has been kicked or fallen through the map not just once but multiple times in one sitting and its causing teams to loose artificially. Furthermore, in photo mode player built structures including Homestead and guild base are disappearing leaving you with an empty background. UK player European server also play with American players in guild.

Different types of games.. not necessarily the devs fault. This is a giant sprawling open world, bigger than most open world games (you won’t see GTA running at 120fps either) - with every interior explorable. But yes, partially the devs fault.. it was written for PC architecture and ported, which is very different to a game being written specifically for the console hardware.

There's no reason why the PRO can't maintain a stable 60 fps for the most part. Some areas are worse than others. The game is just not fully optimized. I can play MMOs on the pro with tons of players and have better fps. It needs work

Actually there’s plenty of reasons why it can’t - they’d need to rewrite the entire game to make use of the PS5s hardware to do that. But yes, there’s places where it runs at 60fps. Getting somewhere like Kaifeng to run at a stable 60fps wouldn’t be possible due to CPU bottlenecks though

Which MMOs? Specifically which ones that were built on PC hardware and ported to console later and have the same level of open world complexity

You can’t now navigate on controller to the area you select shells to be added when you choose to rerall a stat. It used to work, now without a virtual cursor activated you are stuck in the paths selection and can’t go below to select any shells

Yeah navigation regardless of what you use D-Pad or Cursor or just controller in general it’s extremely inconsistent!

• When you’re in a team the team menu on the left sometimes doesn’t respond to the option button and instead opens the main menu. So you get stick in the team and can’t leave.

• Opening chat menu will also open voice chat options because it’s R3 to open chat menu and also R3 voice chat options when you’re in a voice chat lobby.

• Using the curser in many areas of the UI doesn’t select what you hover over with the cursor because the dpad selection box is still highlighting the default option.

• Using the cursor in chat when adding emoji is adds double because the dpad selection is still present while the cursor is active.

• In some areas of the UI like the peddler for example there is double cursor bug due the activity having its own cursor plus the assist curser being active.

• There are instances where the assist cursor will get bugged while navigating and disappear.

• Unable to navigate and view loot that you’ve just got or about the dismantle while cursor is active.

• Inconsistency with cursor when it comes to navigation, some areas of UI you can just hover over the items to see them, in others you have to hover then click to see items.

• a few area of UI or activities just out right don’t work with assist cursor, have to disable it.

On the map Old Mohist City shows 100% completion, but on the Sentient Beings I still need 1 chest and I already got all 22 chests after the legacy Ephemeral Glory went live. For what its worth, I dis get some of the chests before that inclusi g the one near the bottom of the abyss in the area when the Area opened baxk when Hidden Mountain first came out. Please check. It just makes the building, and surrounding area smooth and less detail so the performance is supposed to be better for game play. It doesn't make a difference to me, I still lag, screen freezes. But if you don't care for the background quality you can turn it on.

Console is global only. They just didn't take the proper time to develop and optimize the game properly. It has received some updates but overall, it's very bad. MMOs on PS5 PRO run way better with an open world and tons of players around. There should be no excuse for a single player game. I expect FPS drops in bigger cities like Kaifeng however, its everywhere. FPS drops, stuttering, low resolution textures, pop in...I can keep going. And don't get me started on the awful new font that's so large and cuts off text in some places. Just awful

Ahh…. Ran HR talent today, and it was horrible with the FPS drop as bad as when the Zheng E boss HR boss first released, yet it was ok on Tuesday.

The "more options" for items isn't working nowadays? Press that and it just turns blank and you can't go to the other options for the item.

Optimization for console is so bad.

This is one of the more decent fight I had, but it's way worst than this in fight I do for gvg. I am just a free kill for my enemies when my screen freezes like that. When I come to from the lag and screen freezes, my character is just dead. Input delay is so horrible, I can't even execute enemies nor used my skill correctly. Also, why is my lion roar for down arrow is being activated when I clearly press up arrow to activate my world sword. Same thing happens when I activate my horse on left arrow but my lion raor down arrow is activated?

That screen freezing issue has been a problem since GvGs inception on global, at this point it will probably never get fixed although we still need to get the option to turn off/hide vfx which might help.

Game size doesn't affect performance. The PC port is around 100 to 120gb. This game wasn't properly optimized. It's that simple

It’s not if it just some slight optimization, but optimization for performance isn’t just algorithm n coding… Resource management like 3d object mesh count and textures as well, if it managed and optimized well usually the size shrunk down.
Don’t forget console can’t change graphic setting, and iPad has better graphics on Ultra with smaller size too.

I’m having issues with being rerouted to specific items. Say I want to tune a gear, I’d go to select the item I need-> click more (square) and scroll down to click where that item can be purchased. I’m unable to scroll anywhere and it instant locks the screen behind the more window. This was not a problem two weeks ago. Now I’m finding out I can’t top up— if I go to the top up screen, click the amount, I want I usually get a pop up window like every console of PlayStation payments but it now shows nothing. Could someone help?

I agree, I don’t like how much the game increases in size whenever they release a new region.

I read that Steam version is around 180-190GB, not sure on the native launcher versions, PS5 currently 194GB for me.

In terms of storage I think the game isn’t well optimised, I think if the devs properly utilised Kraken Compression the game size would be much smaller.
