Ur mini map will have an indicator for a present icon which means the person has a valuable; if its a gold bag, i definitely try to steal it 🤣; npcs carry valuables such as money, ore for enhancing weapons, etc, just use celestial seize and dont get caught (sometimes the steal percentage is low tho so u gotta keep trying lol)

For potions, im sure u can farm those and find herbs and stuff to craft it; not sure about repair stuff

For potions, make sure u keep upgrading those medicine books, otherwise u gonna be stuck w like 1-2 low tier potions that heal like 1/4 ur hp lololol

They only appear on certain times of the day, AND they only appear after you met all the criteria...

AND there's only a 2/3 chance of triggering them. If you do not trigger it, you need to wait 30 seconds for the game to reroll whether you will trigger that quest next time you meet all the conditions again.

There is another perspective to take into account: in a world state they are in Ruby is very much “want and wish” and not much doing to prepare for the dreams she has. In comparison MC trains from the very young age, as we see some other characters later on as well, plus remember what Dao Lord is about if you reached that point. So it’s easy to get annoyed because she acts like a kid while yes, being a kid, but that’s about it, we met others much more capable to sustain the ambitions which doesn’t reflect good on Ruby.

Additionally, I feel like everyone thought they had more time. More time to teach / train her, and just more time in general. That's why when Aunt Han said "we need to leave. Now", everyone else was like, maybe tomorrow

It's not quite like, say The Masquerade or Wizarding World. Think of it more like "otaku subculture." Though different franchises do have different in-world definitions for Jianghu and how they use it.

Well, they attack you for the crime of getting near them, so it's ultimately just self-defense.

But only a few of them actually die.

In the case of the Sleeping Taoist, he actually didn't mean to harm you, and once you beat him, he's friendly to you and will help you on a side quest (in fact, you can't do this side quest until you beat him).

Meanwhile the puppeteers just give you a nod of respect and leave, totally alive, implying this was some kind of test.

You also get rewards for beating them, including Journal completion.

My personal theory is that the puppeteer giving you that nod of respect before leaving may tie into something the roadmap said.

That in later content, we'll get to join a Sect which specializing in puppeteering, and be able to do it ourselves.

My question is how they'll handle it mechanically. Is it just a ranged attack, or is it more like a summon, or is it an actual weapon branch?
