Vote what?
(D-3)
The Kaifeng storyline was quite interesting. Although it's not entirely historically accurate(from what I've heard), it does quite well in portraying the fact that most of the factions has their own reasons, and almost all involved parties were having trouble with the break up of the Tang dynasty. Basically, it does a good job at showing the gray areas rather than just pure black and white.

One of the best parts of Kaifeng has to be the One leaf, one life questline

Discuss?
my favorite memory was the "Gambit Beneath the Shimmer" quest line
There's something special about Kaifeng that makes it feel like home. The city is very lively and there's a lot to do in the region. Most of the time I've spent in my world is here. Couple with a really good story as region backgrounds, and all the random details and anecdotes from random NPCs really make it immersive. It's probably not a specific moment for me, but more like the overall vibes. Even today I'm still frequently visiting the trade hall, the bath house, and of course the ghostlight market
Both solid.
10 pulls😋
And a harmonic core

JUST CHECK PINS GUYS LOL
D-3: For me, it was when I first came into the city. There was so much to look at and really drew me in to the scenery, including the story. I also really liked the main storyline. The boss was actually one of the funnest so far in my opinion, I really liked how we had to try to grab money while fighting them.
also Big Zhao should win xD
Big Joe is a national Kaifeng treasure
Wandering tales across all Kaifeng - from big city to Plainfield and even Yellow River.
Still, i have a lot of things to do there, area is big xD
D-3: my most impactful moment was watching the velvet shade dance cutscene and the fireworks show... it reminded me that I'm not too jaded for MMOs yet, and there are still stories and sights for me to enjoy

Tale of Gold Leaves was so good
Haha, that was hilariuos
One of the funniest moments in the game
Big Zhao is The One.
imo universal furnace - Furnace of Righteousness still fascinating story to play especially when ur character is kinda climbing the furnace from below to top, leaping the ledges and so on

I remember the multiplayer Kaifeng firework festival vividly since it was the first time all 10 of my cohort had gathered~

Wearing duck head n dancing with friends n strangers 💃
I wish there was patch notes early
Big Zhao the best part of Kaifeng
Looking forward to seeing the emperor at last !

My most unforgettable moment in Kaifeng has to be its main storyline, which is packed with intense political intrigues, unexpected twists, and breathtaking cinematic battles that kept me on the edge of my seat

the Big Zhao story, without knowing anything you will think of him as just a goofy guy running around Kaifeng and helping people. progressing the story line blow my mine who really he is. so excited for the coming imperial palace story. ❤️
Big zhou or small zhou?

D3: the furnace battle! where for the 1st time we experienced parkouring in the midst of explosions. absolute cinema! Can't wait to learn more about Big Zhao's backstory.
i wanna vote for too many people option
Most unforgettable moment has to be entering Kaifeng the first time and realising how insanely detailed it actually is compared to other areas followed by Big Zhao who at first seemed like your usual goofy character only for him to later overturn everything i knew about him.
Great for more
Big Zhao, the mighty chicken catapult 🐔
Palace to gogo
130 lingering melody's saved up for the next draw
In wich quest does he reveal his secrets cause i did all the quests in kaifeng plus the dark surge ending and i havent even see him besides the first chapters in kaifeng, or is he in some encounters quests?
main quest in kaifeng literally ends with him revealing himself as the emperor
I must have missed it then
Cause i have seen this theory videos in tiktok that hes uncle jiang
I can't wait
The main storyline brought me there, but after the sparse-ness of Qinghe, my jaw dropped when the Kaifeng mapped revealed itself to me. Walking through it was a surreal feeling, but I appreciated the design and attention to detail put into the Kaifeng in game especially since after I came back from the actual Kaifeng in Henan, China. There is a "theme park" in the IRL Kaifeng called 清明上河园 that when I walked through it, felt like I stepped into the game. I'm very appreciative of the existence of this game and being able to play it, so thank you for the experience ❤️
get voted there already, big zhao is everything!

honk honk!
scenery took
so has day 1 started yet
The story line is peak

The funniest quest in Kaifeng was when we had to carry a toilet stick to a person. I want more funny stories like this.

Big Zhao number 1
The stark contrast between the city's glamour and the suffering of its starving people split by corruption really broke my heart and kept me completely hooked.
Defeating the mastermind behind it all resolved the immediate crisis, but the deep-rooted struggle remained, making the bitter-sweet glimpse of hope among the citizens leave a truly haunting impression on me.
When I left Qinghe and came to Kaifeng for the first time, it was bustling with people. Felt like actual city.
Big Zhao was a diva 💖
bcs hes the real plot twist man

D-3: The Ultimate "Hidden Dragon" Trope: There is nothing cooler than realizing the heavy-set, slightly chaotic guy who was just casually lounging on a tiled roof or cracking jokes in the dirtiest corner of the Forsaken Quarter is actually the founding Emperor of the entire Dynasty. He is the ultimate "hidden master" living among ordinary people.
The name is Zhao Kuangyin or our loving Big Zhao...
arriving there for the first time after traveling through the quieter countryside. The city suddenly feels alive — crowded streets, lanterns everywhere, storytellers, guards, merchants, music drifting through alleys

Amazing all round 💯
Dynasty changes are often associated with turbulent times. The plot immerses you in a city that glitters with wealth, and right there is that very neighborhood where you see the flip side of this "wealth." But where is true wealth? In shiny things? Or in the people around you, who stand by you despite everything.

My favorite moment I think came while just wandering around the city - coming across the big central bridge and seeing all the stalls felt very immersive. Might be my fave city I've come across in a video game.

What really gripped me was the main storyline in Kaifeng. It had the strongest emotional pull for me and gave the whole section a sense of weight and purpose. The characters, the atmosphere, and the way the story unfolded made it feel memorable, and it was the part of the game that kept me most invested.
Yeah, I won't lie. The moment Big Zhao recognized Nameless Sword and began to rally the citizens against the guards? I adored that man right away.
It wasn't just the comedy of the scene. It was the found family aspect. That man saw our protagonist using Nameless Sword and pretty much adopted us on the spot. A "you're one of us now" situation.
It was also just inspiring. All those citizens throwing chickens and produce to drive the guards away and distract them so we could get away. It proved that when the weak rally together, maybe with a bit of subterfuge, they can overcome the strong.
Taking part in exploring a built city full of life and. Mystery was amazing
Getting to have a fun stroll with coop friends felt so much bigger then at the start
You feel the world is alive now that there is such a big city and different villages nearby
All the NPCs interactions as well were incredible!
Wandering around, an invite pops-up, I click Yes. Then suddenly I'm fighting a boss and the invitee is missing, looks like only 1 player at a time? It was God of Avarice, I haven't progressed my campaign back then and didn't know who it was. We didn't finish it...
Let's race to the gates!
was broken after ruby death
crowded city is good
kaifeng was so lively
i was scammed in kaifeng first step in the city

RALLY!
My most unforgettable moment in Kaifeng was during my first day trying to find the wayfrarer near martial temple and ended up getting stuck in pipa chasm because I got hooked by the chests and couldn't climb up, made me sick the whole day after because it was so dizzying
I have enjoyed my time here greatly, through a bit of role play and self story telling I have come to the conclusion that Keifeng robbed me. I walked in there, needing nothing, almost 2 mil in my pocket. By tie i left the city for the first time they had me running around the city outskirts picking flowers to cultivate. It's crazy, I left the city completely broke. It's like the God of Avarice was in my pockets since I entered the gates.
it was fun journey
I remember the early days going religiously to the fireworks festivals for echo jades and red envelopes haha
One of my strongest Kaifeng memories was honestly how the city slowly started feeling like home the deeper I got into the storyline. At first I was focused on exploring the scenery and wandering around the streets, but once Big Zhao became more involved in the story, I got way more emotionally invested than I expected. His character added a lot of personality to Kaifeng and made many of the story moments feel memorable instead of just another questline. I’m really hoping the Imperial Palace update gives us more character depth and moments like that.
first step in city with sadness about burning village
Favorite memory of Kaifeng was seeing the Shadows in Bloom Velvet Shade cinematic cutscene for the first time, had me in awe the entire time
Arriving to the city was a great moment, I was amazed by the amount of details and interactions points
overwhelm with encounter and NPC
My most unforgettable moment in Kaifeng was when i was in Martial Temple and encountered The Nameless General World Boss. The lightning effects was so cool that it was one of my favorite boss fight. It was also one of the world boss in which has an ability before it loses it tries and eliminate you before losing.
Entering Kaifeng for the first time was unforgettable. I was literally astounded by instant vibe of historically accurate buildings, people, vendors, shops. I spent a good bit of that day just roaming around to -see- everything there was to see. I was so mesmerized by the city that I forgot to collect many of the boundary stones. But now I can wind my way through the city like I lived there all of my life without boundary stones. hah. ❤️
It was definitely meeting Big Zhao for me! When he stepped in to save us (with chickens no less) it was so heroic.. And I hear we will get to see/fight Big Zhao in his prime soon 😏 Been looking forward to that for a while now 🙂↕️
Big zhao is a big suprise to me
I still remember how leaving Qinhe felt. A young master who was one only in name really. Didn't know the world or its harshness. Meeting granny turtle (who could resist her), meeting so many people in the way to the city and finally standing before its gates. Larger than everything we had seen. It felt humbling. Like we were finally part of the bigger world.
Absolutely unforgettable.
we about to get drugged, locked and ars kicked like a good ol time being naive YM once again, looking forward to it
the feeling of good story but bad multiplayer gameplay
Big Zhao saving me from foot soldiers on the bustling market streets is ❤️ ! I want to eat spicy broth noodles with him!

The biggest Zhao being the biggest bro. Also that style game he has.
the fisher also a big suprise
I will not forget Ruby chan
I like the underground vibe
especially the Forsaken Quarter :)
scary ghost market
the feel of sadness after leaving Qinghe
Oddities were the most memorable part

Thank you. I tend to find one way to do things and forget about trying to find an alternative. This helps for tomorrow!
Kaifeng is wonderful, the beauty of the city enchanted me. I spent a lot of time there to be able to complete the game and I always wanted to explore the palace as well.
My most memorable part of Kaifeng was the Velvet Shade performance! So beautiful and fun to see my character in the dance cutscene.
Big Zhao's dance outfit
can't wait for the new content!
Dmn everyone really love big Zhao.

Upon Entering Kaifeng, Velvet Shade is the grandest and most luxurious
stage in Kaifeng, where the periodic Heroes Assembly unfolds as the very embodiment of beauty and opulence, a spectacle rarely seen anywhere in Kaifeng
My favourite questline in KaiFeng is the One Leaf, One Life series. It’s my favourite set of interconnected stories in the game. (Followed by Wellspring of Hope)
Ohh the sky dance in Kaifeng was amazing
Had some great memories there
Where the fck is that voting thing
Most unforgettable moment in Kaifeng? Definetly the first time we set foot there, especially in the Reverly Hall. That entrance was so beautiful and the skydance was my favorite!

What in the.
My most unforgettable moments is as simple as playing trough the golden leaf quests and seeing how as I was helping the different npc's the more lively and less run down Kaifeng's streets became, one of the moments where I felt what I was doing was afecting the envoierment of the game.
@keen rapids

honk honk!
most heart breaking moment? it has to be the blind girl side quest defiantly a tear jerker
My most unforgettable moment in Kaifeng is arriving at the main city and waiting 10minutes for my first view of the place to load....

I will just comment here
My strongest memory of kaifeng is the lag in the main city
😭
Visiting the fireworks festival for the first time. Beautiful event!
Kaifeng had good looking bosses and city was huge but compared to 1st area I felt it lacked the excitement . The bosses were fun tho

Meeting Yingying. I remember thinking, "Wow, she would be an amazing member of the Nine Mortal Ways, we have so many scammers there." And then learning her story really affected me and left me speechless.

I loved the MSQ a lot in Kaifeng, most memorable part (probably traumatizing) would be Mistveil City! Ohhhhh how many hours I spent looking for a single chest
I remember entering Kaifeng. It looked so pretty. I was so impressed with the lights and the dancers. I was excited to finally get to velvet shade because I wanted to join the sect.
At first Kaifeng felt like sensory overload coming from a more open Qinghe. It was so densely packed and despite being surrounded by the same four walls, you could feel a different mood in each section of the city. I felt more complexity and thought out storylines that let me actually engage with characters. It reminded me of the Cdramas I watch as a child. I think that the only thing Kaifeng lacked was the visuals, with the exception of the Velvet Shade cutscene with the dancers. That was spectacular. Overall, I'd say there was almost enough to distract you from losing Ruby 😭

My strongest memory is from the main quest cutscene where a lady bites her finger to feed the baby. The way the main quest revealed the other side of Kaifeng really moved me. When I first arrived there, I thought it was just a bustling area with lively, thriving markets everywhere. I wasn’t prepared for the emotional side of it. That scene is engraved in my memory.
When I visited Kaifeng for the first time, I felt intimidated and overwhelmed by the countless streets, each offering a different experience, with so many NPCs and vendors everywhere. Now I’ve grown to love Kaifeng more than the other maps. Contrary to my first impression, it’s become the place I enjoy visiting the most xD
And oh! How can I forget the dungeon in Mistveil Forest! That place gave a horrible jumpscare. It was scary
i believe and i might not be the only one who thinks so, the emotional story line and side quest got me hooked on my love for kaifeng ( though yes the visual content is quite beautiful for me it was really the story and knowledge we gain through the zone).
The most sad and memorable part of Where Winds Meet is when Blissful Retreat gets burned down by the Auriate Pavilion and Ruby doesn't survive the attack on Blissful Retreat. Still heartbroken by this particular scene. Twin Wanderers Forever!
The fact that you don't get to see Ruby again when you fight Yi Dao 😭 😭
Kaifeng was never just a city, it was crowded streets at dusk, quiet tea stalls, hidden encounters, and the feeling that every corner held another story. Now, after all the roads we’ve walked, the palace gates finally open. It feels less like entering a building, and more like stepping into the heart of everything Kaifeng has been hiding from us.
Realizing I'll have to murder three children repeatedly to grind for my set is an unforgettable moment for sure
For me, Kaifeng was always about the people before the place — strangers crossing paths, rumors shared over lantern light, and small moments that somehow stayed longer than battles. The palace opening feels important not because it’s grand, but because it’s the one place we’ve all been wondering about since the beginning.

Most unforgettable about Kaifeng City is how there are people lying and crying on dirty grounds with rats around, while on the other end of the city, there is a luxurious banquet with beautiful dancers and expensive clothes. It resembles the real world the most out of the other areas in this game.
As soon as I stepped off the ferry and entered Kaifeng City, I could feel the atmosphere and energy of the era, and I realized, "This is what an open-world wuxia game is all about."
so is the emperor going to personally reward someone with a sword or a sword technique
Is there a way to know how many rallies we've gotten already?

I've no idea what to do after rallying?
Answer the poll and explain why in the comments here from what I've gathered
My stronget memory is when i was shown the dark side of the imperial city. Its suffering, it hardships, but most of all resilience. In the story of "One Leaf, One Life," we learn that a single leaf is fragile, but a tree stands because its roots are deep. The resilience of Kaifeng wasnt in its walls, but in the Feast of Leaves, where those who survived the Khitan raids fifteen years ago finally gathered to share a meal again. We wanderers may hold the swords, but the true heroes are the shopkeepers and mothers who, despite every invasion, kept weaving hope into straw-woven leaves, waiting for a peace that finally decided to stay.
My strongest memory of kaifeng was when I saw the casts for the main quest and they are all good looking (+ when i first found out about the music npc in VS via the main story, I was so hyped!)
My favourite memory was when the big guy threw kfc at the random bandits
My favorite memory is big zhao. He felt a lot like a fun uncle very warm and comforting. Got as attached to him as i did killer blade
I don't really have much family, not many people to turn to. Killer blade became a father figure i didn't have. Big zhao became an uncle figure. These kinds of characters are a huge comfort for some people like me from broken homes. I would play a lot of alts just to see them again. They genuinely made me feel warm safe and loved
I was startled when I first set foot in Kaifeng, faced with the sheer number of things to do and worried about how I would collect all the chests in such an immense city. As for the story, it was impeccable as always. Meeting Grandma Turtle and Little Fu was truly enchanting.
The whole golden leaf arc really drew me into kaifeng, doing the wandering stories brought life into the whole quest
D-3: For me it was the moment I discovered the beautiful gardens with a friend and got to know the first NPCs from Velvet Shade. And the side story about those leaf noodles in the golden leaf arc is one of my favorites so far. I couldn't stop playing everything around it. And all those food stands. How I wish I could try and taste many of those dishes.
Big Zhao throwing chickens was hilarious
@grim blade New event
I wondered how long it will take to 100% Kaifeng the first time i entered the city..

really like the expansion
being graced by kaifeng meow meow's divine presence left a lasting mark on my soul that no passage of time can weather away
🪿
the level of detail in the city is very immersive, feels like walking down a real road
The bustling market and all the citizens wandering the streets.

honk honk!
I really liked the introduction of Big Zhao
I was convinced we we're going to lose Big Zhao during the main story.
Yeah same, he's a real buddy
D3 - what makes Kaifeng unforgettable to me is, how it felt like the true beginning of my journey as a lone wanderer. Yk after all the heartbreak, loss, and grief we experienced in Qinghe, stepping into a new world alone felt deeply personal. We're so vulnerable, uncertain, yet finally moving forward.
Kaifeng didn’t just feel like another location in a game forme. It felt like the place where grief slowly turned into healing, where loneliness became freedom, and where my journey truly began.
Hey
As someone who grew up loving wuxia and xianxia stories, Kaifeng gave me the chance to live the feelings I could only imagine before. Hoping nxt update bring even more unforgettable quests, chaotic silly adventures and moments that makes us all wandering wuxia protagonist again.
i love ancient chinese architecture. im so excited to see the palace in all its grandeur beauty
🐈 ❤️ 🪿
Ok
D-3
Probably wandering Kaifeng at night with no quest active. Just the lanterns, crowded streets, random music somewhere in the distance, and feeling like the city was alive. Where Winds Meet really nailed that part.
i love it!
D-3 The storyline in Kaifeng is very deep, and what's more, many things are connected to the history of the past, which makes me really interested in learning about Chinese civilization during that period (the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period).
D-3 My most unforgettable moment was the New Years Eve Fireworks Festival spent with the friends I had made within my guild
Kaifeng somehow felt twice as alive whenever Big Zhao was around as if the whole city had an extra treasure piece. One minute he was dragging me through side streets with that “trust me” energy, the next he’d toss a live chicken to save you. Somehow every bridge, lantern, and noisy alley in Kaifeng felt less like a city and more like Big Zhao’s playground. We were just lucky enough to keep up
Kaifeng was where the lag humbled me, the streets distracted me, and somehow I still made memories worth keeping.
Most unforgettable moment? Parkour in the Furnace hooooooly that shi was cinema af

It was pretty obvious that something was up when he had so many connections, though at the time, I thought he was simply a high-ranking official sneaking out to see the world, or something.
Dun dun duuuuun 😂💜
‘Sup peeps

Can't waittt!!

Brooo I got spoiled

We need gauntlets to make this a true dbz style fight
Woot

This crap is on the internet since many moons ago. Let act surprised so the Gae boi C drama developers feel like they actually feels good about their "plot twist".

Oh damn
Mom pick me up, I’m scare-

Big Zhao had alot of connections.
Figured he was a high ranking officer at first.

It’s linke uncle iron from ATAB sleeper build

🔞

Well, big Zhao called the prefect of Kaifeng his brother, and his surname in chinese hahaha

It’s hard to escape being spoiled on the internet

What happened to big Zhao?

Where is D1?

Now the real question what made him gain all that weight.

Go play the story if you haven't, come back when you have if you're still confused, hahaha.
The food in the imperial palace was too good.
its by minus, so d-3, d-2, d-1 etc
I had suspicions pretty early, but I am still a bit curious. Would be nice to explore the whole story about him

guys whats this server again?
what else? feaasting the imperial banquets hahahha
why am i in this server? what is the imperial rally?

Becoming a dad

You’re still in the where winds meet server lmao
This is a discord event for the new update, just look at pins

The Imperial Rally is the countdown til the Imperial Palace update. See the pinned comments for more information.

si, thanks a bunch
bro not stressed lol, the one getting stressed is his poor brother hahahha

Look with yo eyes.
what does this channel mean???
Kaifeng's Main Story Quest, and if you wander around, there's a few Wandering Tales that also gives clues on his identity. Or, shoves it in your face, I suppose?

I had suspicions pretty early, but I am still a bit curious about him.

look. in. the. PINS.
Yea, there's so many clues as to who he actually is or could be.
tldr:
- Rally to the palace
- vote in poll
- post something related to the poll.
I had a feeling he was somebody super important, but I also was shocked on the truth. I didn't expect him to be top of the top tho

where can i see the poll?
The post cannot be spam, either, otherwise you wouldn't get put in the draw.
I wanna know the secret of big zhao about how his height got reduced

I know him when I saw his name. But still after he threw those 🐓 🤣

Where do I throw the pocket sand
Honestly think he was someone important but not the top
I started suspecting Big Zhao long before the reveal because he noticed too much for an ordinary man. The way he watched people, avoided certain questions, and carried himself during danger never matched the role he played. I think what changed him wasn’t power, but exhaustion. After seeing too much loss and betrayal, he stopped trying to be remembered as important and chose to disappear into an ordinary life instead.
They're all pinned. There are two out right now.
its pinned

It's less an ordinary life, and more because he was seeing how the common people lived, isn't it?

I hope we all get a goose.🪄✨️
so i click on rally to the palace, then do the poll, then post stuff in here?
I like ur take on that honestly
My fav memory was going into south gate avenue, is like going into a bustling city. That or getting scammed. Also I know something was sus about Big Zhao 😂
okay if thats all we need to do then simple enough, thanks everyone
Sugar
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

At first I thought he was a kind unc to help us, but then realized he was acting a bit odd for a normal civilian, when connecting the dots he has to be a person with powerful authority and I was right, he is the emperor himself and the compendium says nothing much about him either
Pretty much, though I'm unsure as to whether you can still comment on things from yesterday.
And of course Zao was the Emperor, it was said at the end of the story with YingYing✨️💛
Something always felt off with Big Zhao, but I never expected him to be the emperor
Probably called the chefs one too many times throughout the night
Bros room is next to the kitchen lol
Maybe it's the kitchen itself
maybe yingying is the chef, she always dressed like one hahhaha
i was mention here. wht was it all about?
same
Yingying is ember of the feast
I know that's a joke, but Yingying is probably too busy being Ember of the East to cook.
Poll update. See pinned comments.
i mean.. if big zhao is so free to handle imperial palace and sneak out
ying ying probably could
Is this where we start saying "We hold?" Not sure
Anxi Army, do we hold?
WE HOLD
aight
30th garrison, hold
That's on Hexi, Emperor Palace connects with Kaifeng ✨️💛☺️
hold my coffee ☕
Honestly, I didn’t realize Big Zhao’s identity until the smaller details started connecting together. He always acted calm in situations where normal people would panic, like someone who had already survived worse before we met him. I don’t think one single event changed him either. It felt more like years of carrying responsibilities slowly wore him down, until he valued peace and anonymity more than status or recognition.
why anxi? Arent they all dead? Choose a different army eh hahhaha
Shrugs and goes back to playing with crystals
They may be dead, but their spirit lives on.
Rallying for the imperial palace here ✌🏽
Tuff
The.... uh.... wanderer army?
Big Zhao is too fat to be an ordinary person in that era

Being rich has it's perks
They live on through us
haiya, whats this biasness
Zhao, fat? On that Emperor armor he does not look fat, he looks like a grandpa with steroids...

he not that old though hahahaha
that's him when he's young i think
Too bad gunbrella don't care about all that armor
at least i dont think he's even 60 yet (the current one)
He's on his 40s, he is very strong
huh
Historically, apparently the dude died at 49.
He don't sound old, plus he has those mystical abilities to transform itself. Idk, he's very wise and feels like he's young.
I have something stronger, a lv91 umbrella
I believe you
Velvet shade side quest was the best in Kaifeng. Love the music and dance, they were mesmerizing ❣️
I already knew because it was many spoilers all over about how big Zhao is based on someone in history.
Uuuh that's nice data!💛✨️♥️🔥
Whomst pinged?
I kinda know he's not a regular people cus of the connection he has. But nevertheless, im still blown.
I mean, a lot of historical figures and details were put into the game. The Shimmer of the South was based on one, and so is the governor's line in the Death of the Governor and related quests. So it's not a surprise that you can get spoilers on the story just by searching online.
Mesmerizing tbh..
I'm assuming everyone has done story here, I loved the story of kaifeng, I actually felt for the people suffering, the human market, granny turtle, etc. I couldn't wait to plant a sword in GOA's chest. Played it back when I was doing ronin stuff
Well didn’t he say ladies loved him in his prime
More as as friend for me
what do we post here to be entered into the draw? anything specific?
Post things related to the poll, and it cannot be spam.
Ah okay interesting

Can I draw 168 cores in a row so I can own a boat?

Oh not that kind of draw, alright then
Hahaha.
Did you want the boat for the outfit? Or do you actually like the boat?
:o
Outfit, I like how it looks on my friend so I want the outfit, but don't have 40k sitting around to get it
what is this
I see. Well, you can borrow it temporarily, can't you?
See pinned comments.
😆
I know it might be kinda crazy but I love hearing the side stories and different conversations between the npcs in Kaifeng. So many different lives, different stories and just different everything lol. I also love the beautiful scenery and architecture, really well done. (D-3)
once I reach rank four with her, but honestly I think I've done good with fashion that I probably don't needing it.
Doesn't sound crazy at all. I spent my time running around 100%ing Kaifeng, but even after that, I still feel like I'm missing a lot of stories, and can't help talking with every single character. Especially the characters with Life Stories. Sure, they're not the most unique of storylines, but it's still interesting. I read the stories about the cats in the compendium, for hell's sake.
Hear me out on the Zhao brothers
D-2 Big Zhao's story is one of the most interesting stories for a character.
Uh...
Best I can say is...
Spoilers?
I haven't gotten that far yet.
I didn't even know he had an identity reveal later on.
Uh... Great. That kinda retroactively ruined how much I adored the chicken intro scene. 😅
I Figured Out When He Had Linked to the Emperor that he was a Bigshot
good luck buddies
I mean, the chicken introduction scene became even funnier after the reveal for me.
||Imagine the emperor casually walking around, throwing chicken at his soldiers.||
and then the prince shares same fate to you a.k.a Zhao Guangyi
I honestly love it too. I'm trying my best to discover all wandering tales I can without a guide. It kinda takes me back to the feeling of figuring out clues by myself
Who ping me?
hmm
Aww, yeah I get that. It definitely feels like there’s a lot missing. Maybe in the future there could be “updates” on the Kaifeng npc’s lives, would be cool to see

Without a guide?? I’m impressed that you have the time for that haha!
This is daddy, not unc
Honestly, I'd probably do that too, if I don't have an obsession with 100%ing things as soon as possible. Though, I do try to do everything without a guide first.
In the future, if we're able to add pins to our own map with labels like, "The XXXX family's house is over here, the village chief's house is here," that might make it easier to find things.
I swear, half the time I'm just trying to figure out where 'Household Zheng' or something is.
Of course....until I break but I'm still trying! 😭 I love it tho
I am using a 64GB IPad10 for WWM. How big will the app become? Can I only install the mandatory parts and the new palace map? The full game now is 32,97GB and I still have 12 to 14 GB free space on the iPad 🫠
... I probably shouldn't use that specific last name, considering how it seems there's only one very famous household in Where Winds Meet with that name.
Never saw it coming 💀🙏
That would be interesting, though I feel like my computer would run out of storage, hahaha.

please add the new parry sounds to all the other bosses that would be great!
This is so true. I'm always hoping there's a sign so I don't have to look it up like that, even then I look at them when my patience is running low. The feel of accomplishment I get when i find them is like a high 😆
Using the goose emote won't count. Got to make a real comment about the topic
I think there's going to be a new game mode? Idk
Giveaway

Gib me
Bro this game in android cross 50gb it's 54.5 gb now in future the storage will increase more
How
Yep. It honestly beats looking up a guide, but I get tired after running around in circles searching for one specific item or area. The signposts near the items are actually quite fun to read, and helpful as well.
Check the pins
I think someone said it reached 200 in chinese

Nice pins (sorry) 😆
Still it take lot of time but I don't think in future we will able to play on low storage phones

True
On pc?
I guess, they just said that the game has reached 200gb storage in chinese version
Alr more than that on PC I think
Big Zhao healed my heart after it was crushed when Yi Dao died. 💜🫂
It's already 130gb + and new update will increase more storage
For me it's 130 gb on pc
111gb lite version hahaha
Shaders compilation takes another 15 to 20 gb
Oh well I have to have a 1tb SSD for this already 😄
Gotta load all them cosmetics 😋
Dang im at 166
Wtf howw
I dont even know i just check today when i saw u guys discussing abt these storage thing
And developers said this is free game
Isn't it free? Just the storage....
All the cost went to storage bro
What about we have to purchase SSD and new phone for more storage
It is 😄 but the hardware to run it is not free 😆
at least you aren't renting space from Rockstar for GTA6
NETEASE RELEASE SOULSHADE HARMONIC CORE VFX AND MY LIFE IS YOURS
Yes well it's worth the cost so..

Not worth at present condition the prices is at peak 🤧
Guyss did I hear it right tho that the gauntlets will come with the next update on 28 may???
Has there been any optimization related to these storage stuff lately?
I thought its july no?
I don't think so
Biggie forsure.
Waahhhhh, i got cheateddddddd
Dang
I really thought that they'll come on 28
No matter how far you've wandered… Kaifeng has always been here.
June
Pretty sure thats when new update drop
Well, Helldivers 2 used to be around 185 GB after multiple updates, but after major optimization by the devs, it dropped to nearly 25 GB—almost an 85% reduction without hurting the game’s visuals or gameplay mechanics or UI. So I’m really hoping WWM can achieve something similar too.

I see
what is this

What else are you going to play
Gib me harmonic core skin with gauntlets plez
I realized big zhao's identity when I looked at Kaifeng renewed, as the biggest and most elegant. Kaifeng used to be a very impoverished place with dirt roads and hungry people eating each other. After improving the living conditions of the people around him, I think Big Zha just wants to relax instead of thinking about wartime efforts
Agreed
Also waiting for flute of tides oneee

Actually lite version is smaller and looks the same.. but what is money if you can't make the game look good with it lol
Nothing no time to play other games
Ok plenty of time for discord then
Yes
hello player
Is anyone gib here I don't think so
gib what
Someone ask gib me harmonic core skin with gauntlet
Maybe, but a huge chunk of game size growth happens because many files keep duplicating themselves across updates. Some of those duplicated files are intentionally kept for optimization purposes, like reducing loading times.
But the Helldivers 2 devs went absolutely crazy with optimization—they scrapped tons of redundant files, yet the game still runs and looks incredibly smooth.
WWM already has a Lite version, which is good, but I still hope the devs push for major optimization. Helldivers 2 basically set a new benchmark for both players and devs by proving that the “AAA games must be 100+ GB” idea is kind of a myth now.
It is not going to happen
Almost it's 6 months and still not smooth gameplay there are lots of bugs still
Well sure that depends on the devs calibers on how far and how crazy they want the file reductions or if they even want the do the file reductions
Even they know how to reduce the file size lol day by day only increasing not decreasing
I was about to say something but nevermind. I dont get paid to help
Is really anyone help in this game
Because many players automatically associate “AAA quality” with massive graphics, heavy shaders, ultra-HD textures, and tons of content—so a 100+ GB size starts feeling like a badge of quality.
That also creates competition between developers, where some studios indirectly try to make their games feel “bigger” and more premium through sheer size to attract players.
Yes
And no one wants to try this game also you guys know when I asked my friends to download this game they said how much gb is this game and when I said 30gb + they drop the idea to play lol
The game dropped subtle hints, and looking back they were clever breadcrumbs. Finding out he’s based on an actual historical figure makes it even wilder!

Thats what I hate the most about those kinda devs and idiotic players , so when I heard that the game I used to play got major File reductions/ optimised,
I felt that yeah atleast the world have some sane devs as well
Next time we have to share this in Dev's talk session
He said something military relate and i just believe, then i read people talk about real history and it's match
Actually, I haven't even played till the Big Zhao reveal... but thanks to social media I got spoiled. Though.. I had a hunch he wasn't just a small fry odd job man in the backalleys.
What was the ping here for? Anyone knows?
If you did everything there was to Kaifeng, there were a whole lot of quests etc that foreshadowed hard. Especially a ton of hints and plays relating to high officials and the Emperor
Voting polls in the pins
When I saw Big Zhao speak with the prefect I got suspicious.
The way he knew just slightly to much and where able to push MC in some directions was what first tipped me off, he always knew just a tiny bit to much to be who he tried to display for us. Tough as what might have changed him I dont have a proper feel on.
Big Zhao secret son is _ _ _ _ _ .
Small Zhao lol

I
started getting really suspicious during the hero's assembly
Whoa
After a few steps in the story, you can understand who Big Zhaos was. And compare it with information from the internet. But learning the outcome of this story through the game was very exciting. It created new expectations to delve deeper into the story.
D-2 Big Zhao's big secret: He drinks his soup broth first and then eats the noodles, meat and vegetables second.
Do we need to explain our vote or just send random message in here?
I do story later than I should, try to avoid any spoilers but spoilers still happened
Well I mean this post spoiled it, but I was spoiled on social media

D-3 Don't get me wrong, the scenery and cutscene for revelry hall is absolutely stunning. But tbh when Big Zhao chucked those chicken at the guards to protect me, I might've fallen in love😌

I had thought he had connections, might be a noble or something. Not quite the emperor, though I do love him dressing in Velvet Shade uniform

My big Zhao 💕 cant wait to meet him
I only found out about Big Zhao's true identity through gameplay videos from the Chinese server on various social media platforms. I don't believe he changed. He was inherently a king who disguised himself as a commoner to truly understand the condition of the people in Kaifeng, enabling him to introduce policies and solutions for the betterment of their lives.
D-2 When Big Zhao got scolded behind the screen by his brother for dressing scandalously, I had a hunch of his true identity. Being an emperor is hard, they have to balance political powers and deal with ugly old dudes who are always trying to embezzle funds. I'm not sure why or how he changed, but I think I can fix him😏😌

Prime Big Zhao with his Stick, never see that comming, did you know the stick could extend too
Never done it. Thought that Big Zhao is just funny guy in Kaifeng.
I'm still thinking it's a past - he couldn't lose weight so fast...
Whats this for?
I started suspecting when the scene with his brother happened 😅
Giveaway
I'm so confused, is clicking the button supposed to do anything? Cause it says "new message" but when I scroll down there's absolutely nothing
Since the oart where we infiltrate velvet shade, i was suspicious that big zhao had some connections in order to get in. Even more so when it was the scene where Zhao Guangyi appeared. After that, most of my suspicions were confirmed from the story.
D-3 Being kidnapped into Ghostlight Market and facing spectral soldiers, as well as stumbling into Unbound Cavern. It's quite the contrast to the city aboveground.
D-2 Chess player in Heaven's Pier talks about the emperor, so I had my suspicions early on
I thought Big Zhao was an extroverted local guy and that's why everyone knew him xD
After learning his true identity, I began researching the history of the Warring States and the Ten Kingdoms periods, as well as the founding of the Song Dynasty.
D-3 :- The broken city disguised into well settled heaven , the never ending hunger of ordinary peoples suppressed by Kaifeng rulers is the thing that hits really hard while exploring it

D-3 Definitely looking at the scenery! I was most fascinated by the fireworks and the lake area with lanterns and flowers and bridges. Absolutely stunning view
D-2:- I was pretty sure big Zhao ain't what he shows the moment we saw his half face and he was wearing clothes like final boss , but seriously had no idea he could be literally the Emperor 💀 🔥
D-2 I unfortunately found out through a YouTube shorts video way before I could've found out through the story. I did get suspicious there was much more to his story when I completed the quest with his brother. And also the fact that he knew so much, clearly leading MC to his desired locations
Is there an instruction?
my favorite memory was entering the city and getting introduced to yingying my fave. it cemented my love for wwm
I like big zhao
I figured out when he had linked to the Emperor that he was a bigshot
I figured out when he had linked to the Emperor that he was a bigshot
I may be stupid but i was not thinking in that direction at all, i just assumed he had some connections LOL I had to find out on social media later 😭 i need to know how big exactly that appetite is..
The gold leaf chapter was arguably the best questline for me, with the dynamic environment change as the young master completed more of the story being the biggest standout to me. It was a heartwarming story and the way it tied into the history of Kaifeng was mind-blowing, personally

honk honk!
Read one too many spoilers on CN side out of curiosity, and I suppose curiosity killed the young master 😭 The hints with him managing to divert the guards so easily in the main storyline would be the first time that the spoiler made sense to me, though
getting wrecked by wolf maiden early in the game while was still on qinghe map
other than that, the assembly cutscene in velvet shade

big zhao feels sus because he knew our relation with uncle jiang but eventually felt as a nice guy as the story progressed so it eventually died out until the "unnatural omen" quest and "winter's gambit" encounter that eventually connected the dots for me
I saw spoilers before I even enter Kaifeng

go to the top and see theres a green option

Everything about Kaifeng is huge- the story, the land, the city, the culture, and even the hidden underground- it’s an incredible place that really made WWM something truly special

dauky comment?
Does emote count as comment

maybe?
People crying because they got a spoiler,,,
Me here after playing entire cn version 🥲 o.o
My curiosity to know future was higher than the sky 😭
Had a hunch there's more to him than meets the eye but was still shocked when I saw cn spoilers

no
only full answer - others will be muted/warned for spamming emotes
(there was mod who said that; edited cuz was wrong abt banning, sowwy)
oh, here
so people who's just spamming goose day after day are...
Oh I see. They should probably pin that lol. Kinda hard to find
but goose

I think we got a few hints about Big Zhao's true identity at the start

Could you please pin this for everyone just so it's fair chance for all in understanding the emoji's don't count please
Bocchi the trash can 😂
D-3 it was crazy seeing our actions making an impact and changing the locations in Kaifeng like the broken houses , you could see on the minimap for example, the poverty in the city gone
What's happening here?
D-2
Found out about Big Brother Zhao's identity when I looked into lore debunking videos on YouTube 😅 , which also talked regarding real life events in ancient china . Big Zhao was real
I didn't know he was the emperor until the cutscenes towards the end of the main story, but I knew he was someone important or of high rank when the guards didn't arrest him.

just release the patch notes already

i got spoiled during doomscrolling from youtube short when im half way in kaifeng main quest so
D-2 I knew from the very beginning that Big Zhao wasn't an ordinary person. Ever since he held back the guards from chasing the MC, it was already clear that he's someone respected by the higher-ups in Kaifeng.
I knew because people online kept spoiling it

Umm is he taking concubines asking for a friend

asking for a "friend"

unfortunately I realize it at the end of the story when he moves forward from the shadow lol I'm just guessing from this point without reading his story, I think after he conquered the imperial palace he realize that how much bloodshed needs to happen to gain power then he change his perspective to help the people for the future.

Thank you
D-2 Big Zhao said that he used to look handsome, like his younger brother, his younger brother is in charge of kaifeng now so he has to be an imperial too. The way he interacts with kaifeng and the fact that he has a big political pull makes him a very powerful player, he is also awfully nimble for somone of his size aswell, so maybe he is a general of some kind?
When does the update drop
D-3 entering kaifeng was so cool! I was walking around the city all day long, it was abit overwhelming at the start to be honest! But it felt so alive!

D-2 Big Zhao was the first npc in kaifeng to help me out but I didn't see him as somone of imperial blood or anything, but later in the story he kinda felt important politically. Just playing dumb to stay under the radar when with my character

honk honk!

(D-2) The second Big Zhao was the only character not trying to swindle me in Kaifeng I knew he had to be way more important than he was letting on.
D-3 entering Kaifeng abit of a whiplash, I was used to open plains and small villages, so being inside an actuall city was a breath of fresh air, many npcs roaming about, lots of houses to visit and check out and later on hunting for latrines! That one was hilarious to do. But meeting Big Zhao was Intresting he is the first person to help us and actually doesn't ask much in return, so he did feel important, his character design was unique aswell!
D-2 He stood out so much, both from the story and his character design, so I already had a feeling he was going to be an insanely strong character. But I didn’t expect his younger form to look this cool, honestly.
When i first met him and was running from imperial guards, the people of Kaifeng were very helpful to him, so i thought he is a very good representative of people of Kaifeng. But i never knew he ACTUALLY represent Kaifeng literally untill i played more of story 😭😭

Indeed
I was honestly 100% blindsided.
I never suspected him for a second because he always seemed like such a friendly neighbor/uncle, so finding out his true identity completely blew my mind.
(d-2) I never thought that he'd have a secret identity tbh I completely believed that he's just a fun guy
Tho I did have suspicions when it was revealed that he's brothers with that other guy(I forgot his name
)
The main reason why I think he's actually more than he let on was when I saw his character profile listed as '??? ' instead of Big Zhao..
#neversawitcominggang how could our sweet bubbly gracious friend Big Zhao (may God bless his soul) be the Emperor! And not just any emperor - THE Emperor Taizu of Song Dynasty! Even during the final scene reveal after defeating Mr. Fake Prosperity Burger, I thought the emperor looks kinda familiar with the moustache but never connected the dots until long after.
there was a cutscene where it made me sus of him but in the next cutscene big zhao was back and he was in the house with the granny so i thought it was just a coincidence, but as i did more content it made me more sus of him.
My fav kaifeng moment was a side quest thst had me doing an epic rooftop chase
I'm so sad that I don't remember this quest 😢
For real the best thing in kaifeng was the valved shade area and the cutscene
The main story was also sweet and hardbreaking with the granny turtle 😭
The wolf maiden is still myFavorit boss fight from all of the bosses we had
I meannthe other boses where fund dint get me rong but no boss fight got me hugt that hard like the wolf maiden. There where some boss machanics that was fun and stuff but. The fight against her was pure Addition. It was fast, painful fight. So much move sets and alot if fast ones . And then the momment you can free her from that cave 😭😭😭😭😭
definitely #neversawitcominggang - i was just like "wait, what?"
Yay I’m excited to see and fight big zhao
I noticed in some tiktoks of the game there was this satisfying sound when the swords clashed, I don't know if that was the sound of blocking or the sound of a well timed parry but I need it yesterday.
D3 - meh, i hate big city, too much meaningless NPC

D2 - It often happens that someone insignificant turns out to be an emperor or high level cultivator that doom all you family
its just heng dao deflect noise
Man my bro big zhao really let himself go after Ascension
all the missons makes you have heng dao deflect animation
Palace food must be real good
king of the jianghu
who wouldnt enjoy all the delicacies in the world
You see I thought that too, but I then went around deflecting everything that attacked me and I get that same sound that every other weapon gives and it just isn't the same feeling
wdym heng dao deflect sounds very different
also its just like that in quests, its normal
especially the quest in the lost chapter in kaifeng, where you get to use the heng for the first time, the deflect sounds the same
Well time to do that in every quest. I can't get enough of that satisfying sound. It's like a M1 Garand reload ping to gun users to me but with swords
Guess I didn't notice because I was always looking at my health when it came to those situations and trying to learn how to perfect dodge better. Gauntlets coming out soon and all and it seems to really reward perfect dodges like the Heng rewards all those parries
We hold!
lowkey perfect dodging bosses is kinda hard, i find doing it against players are a lot easier LOL
or im just used to fighting players
You see, that's my problem I guess. I am used to fighting bosses since I was a PVE player up to like level 80 and then I tried to get into PvP after that and now I can deflect and perfect dodge bosses but players give me problems.
like idk why but i find every move in the game from players so easy to dodge, but when i fought the strat sword npc in qinchuan, i lowkey got hit a lot
i got steamrolled LOL
D-2 Big Zhao's story is one of the most interesting stories for a character. He presents himself as a background character to be ignored. And maintains that. His charm is heartwarming and he is other than Yi Dao one of my favorites.
My guild mate uses strat so after the first hit I might have went overly hard on the npc after that. Didn't even think to use it as practice
Npcs give you time to and anticipate, unlike player's
what is this
default question after anyone starts playing
whats this channel for ?
Because players are real human beings that have unpredictable moves while you can study boss moves over and over to improve and learn them
I don't ever play PVP because of the network lag
So it's impossible to even deflect or dodge attacks
I remember being taken away by the scenery. I was immediately fixated on collecting all the oddities in the area 😂.
I always thought he was this guy we just made friends with.. I’ll be honest I didn’t really pay attention to the story much at the time.
Kaifeng has definitely been my favorite map because of the immediate happy effect it gave me moving from the suburbs to a big city with so many possibilities and outcomes. It is a very beautiful scenery at night and sometimes you just go to the top of buildings to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere. It was really a thrilling experience.
Ah, auto censorship, I see
It's gotta be the sheer scale of Kaifeng, unlike any of the smaller towns and villages you encounter earlier on.
I think it took me a while to catch on, but the hints were there. I'm not sure what changed him, life just does that sometimes.
I’m looking for friends in United States 🇺🇸 of America 🇺🇸 of Canada 🇨🇦. I reside in Austin Texas.
When he seems so nonchalant during the story plus he gets away with a lot of big things too easily... Food changed him
the Golden Leaf storyline and quests hit hard, tbh, stuck with me more than Big Zhao overall
Kinda has the same vibe to it as the Moon in Chang'an and that everyone has a home somewhere, just gotta find it
Very important query, are you keeping Austin weird?
East coast
Tell me the exact state lol 😆
D3 What's your most unforgettable moment in Kaifeng? Drop it below! My most unforgetable moment in Kaifeng was when I entering the Nine Mortal ways base. One of the biggest environmnt for a sect and so many things to discovered ! I really have fun to visiting this area the first time !
Big Zhao really gave “gentle giant hiding demons” energy.
I like the birds 🦅 artwork on your profile as well @gilded sandal
The reveal hit harder after all the goofy uncle moments.
I need to hang out in this chat more because apparently this is where all the lore kids were hanging out
Can we chat in our private chat
Didn’t expect him to carry that much weight behind the smile.
Imade some historical reaseraches about Big Zhao, and what i've found was totally at the opposite of the character painted in the story we play.ed. He rose through the ranks as an elite soldier and became the army's general directly under the emperor. He was essentially the most powerful warrior in the country at the time.
D-2 I feel like I knew he had to be a big deal because of his relationship with everyone. BUT I honestly didn't think he was THAT big of a deal until the reveal 🤣 which was a great surprise!!! Big Zhao is such a well written character.

D-3 Emotionally wrecked!! I love the stories in this map. The side quests were sometimes a little hard for me to understand, maybe translation issues, but I feel like I had context clues. It just took some investigation! Nothing is destroying emotionally like the Hexi stories though 😭😭😭 Now I feel like I need to revisit Kaifeng stories 🫶✨
yes, he is n exceptional warrior and commander, relectuantly took over the dynasty as emperor. The story in-game is leaning on the belief that he plotted against his brother since the throne went to his brother after his death and not the emperor son... anyway the younger brother was a failure of a emperor and an embrassing loser emperor even though he was great at administration and engineering matters. A good emperor for peace times but this was warring times with the 16 prefectures (hence the chinese name of the game)
Looking up at the 8 meters high and 5 meters wide beautiful walls fortifying the secrets within, you can slightly see over this massive fortress a multi-story pavilion that serves guests within, imagining the parties and beautiful firework festivals that partake inside, you can hear cheering and laughing from the outside, your eyes light up with excitement waiting for the massive wooden doors to open!
D-3 the landscape, scenery was just amazing it threw me as I didnt think I would be so invested and I got sucked right in I love it so much the lighting, npcs and architecture
where is todays poll?
Zhao Bro was acting loud to hide a whole storm inside.
Trust me i was knew something fishy going on.. anyway.. hope to see more
The Golden Leaf quest was cinema indeed, it made me drop a tear or two
Overall, I think Kaifeng was very tragic, with all the poverty, famine, war and death.
Big bro made it obvious that he was cooking something behind our backs
Looking back now, the hints were actually everywhere guys.
Big Zhao went from comic relief to one of the deepest characters fast.
The palace changed him… or maybe revealed who he already was.
That reveal made me see every earlier scene differently.
Thought he was just the fun uncle type. I was wrong.
The contrast between his personality and truth was insanely well done.
What is this chat about
Kinda sad how lonely Big Zhao actually felt underneath it all.
I had a hunch early, but the full reveal still landed hard.
check pin messsage
it's for the rally to the pallace event ! Check the pined posts
His laugh feels different after knowing the truth now.
Always liked him anyway, imagine the emperor throwing chicken on his soldiers and helping you escape.
Oh sorry okk
Isnt it obvious Big Zhao is a big guy in imperial
I really loved Big Zhao. He helped the mc escaped his own soldier, dressed up as a dancer and what not just to help the mc. Genuinely a good guy imo

Nothing prepares you for the scale of Kaifeng when you first arrive. The city is absolutely breathtaking, capturing that epic Wuxia vibe perfectly. I went from being amazed by the gorgeous graphics and lively streets to sweating over how many hours it’s going to take me to clear this map.
Big Zhao my man
I figured out zhao’s identity almost immediately, there was just something about him that made me think he was someone else. Sorry for my short response, I can’t remember much about him/the storyline. (D-2)
D-3 I'm late aren't i?
Hallo

Does today count as D2?
I do have a question is the imperial palace map gonna be a different region in the overall map or is it the expansion of the palace in the middle of kaifeng?
read pinned posts
Cuz lowk i thought bujian mountains will be added next
The pinned post for D-3 didn't let me vote, I had to scroll all the way to the top (':
Here it is
#imperial-rally message
It's like Hexi the General's stage, you enter and load into a new map but still in Kaifeng.
Makes sense, thanks
🥺
what is GVE Skyward Bond ?
It took me until the golden pavilion section to really suspect, he just had too many people willing to look the other way on his behalf
You know those floor by floor and harder it gets?
so, is that the kind of content?
I could tell he was more than he let on, but I didn’t know he was THAT important.
Think of it like Trial but with guildies.
Easily the city and the ambience of it all
Yah, PvE
Definitely going to have speed runs too for this
Zhao was compromised and forced into submission because being a boss and having aura inspires people
So, will each person in the guild go solo and the guild points be counted?
Never saw the twist coming! it was a great surprise. Hope to see more complex characters like that in the future
Probably in party
Not sure party limit though
He is an intriguing and endearing character; I would not have suspected his role in the story if I hadn't done some research.
Sorry, i mix it up with another mode called martial path which is a floor by floor (stage by stage).
But yah, the new GvE is new if you don't like or don't do GvG.
Figured it out... More like got spoiled. I saw it in chat, and gossipy me read it. I already forgot if ingame clues would let you figure it out without Chinese history or just give you a hunch.
[D-2] Pretty surprising he turned out this way because he was introduced as a happy fat guy to us in the story
It was obvious Big Zhao was not an ordinary figure
Every street of Kaifeng tells a story.
every toilet in Kaifeng holds a special place in our hearts
D-2 : The way Big Zhao carried himself always felt suspicious.
My most unforgettable moment in Kaifeng was when i was in Martial Temple and encountered The Nameless General World Boss. The lightning effects was so cool that it was one of my favorite boss fight. It was also one of the world boss in which has an ability before it loses it tries and eliminate you before losing.
I knew he was big deal but not that big
