Aint no way I know more than Scy, he got 5x as many reforge as me but I would be inclined to agree with @stoic marsh that color is probably affected by all nodes in some way. If you compare our gold fans, the only difference node-wise is the Pendant. The blue on both fans is definitely coming from the Vast Ocean pieces. But the color dispersion, the type of blue on each fan, and where it appears are totally different. I can't imagine just one pendant node is causing so much variation so I will assume each piece has a range of rng for each color it can spit out. Dragon leaf is a notorious example to use for color rng but I think makes it easiest to see the crazy variation at play. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

No. I meant how the color itself may also be a variable. Meaning the saturation, or the gradation or w/e else even can change, Idk.
However if the tones of whatever color isnt just tied to non-color nodes patterns is something to keep in mind.
Its been proved that within the same non-color node you have multiple variants.

But what if u have like 10 weapons and roll them both to the same color and try to head for the same non-color name in for example top of the umbrella or the fan main-part shape node you just showed. Do you know if colors have their own entities/differences too?
Blaming it fully on the non-color nodes isn't sthg I'd do.
However it is a fact if we lock a non-color node we'll likely have a set color meaning it's not efficient or realistic to roll after locking a non-color node -------> hence why we'd need multiple weapons and trash investment to figure this out.

Pretty sure knowing this is something that would require spending that neither of us can testify for ourselves. And thats the theory I was trying to portray.
