I've heard locking a set piece is necessary to roll the color of that set. But on this fan I was rolling equal parts Vast Ocean and Nine Lands pieces for the most part, I think it favored Vast Ocean rolls slightly, I was chasing Vast Ocean leaf. Idk if that answers your question.
