in this game no you shouldnt just heal but in ffxiv and wow you should only heal because bosses there have actual tank burst where it can take down the tank in two hits

Long before endwalker healers were expected to DPS in harder content and just use OGCD heals majority of the time.

GCD heals were used if someone screwed up

Harder content always has a really harsh window for enrages. If healers didn't DPS, you aren't meeting the DPS check.
