Yes. The base sword skin has no glow whatsoever.

If you want the fancy stuff, it'll cost you at least a few hundred USD more.

The average total cost of these weapons, assuming your luck is average at best, is around USD1500-USD2000

You can get some decent looking weapons with minimal nodes unlocked but it will look nowhere near the previews that you see on the shop.

There is, a way, to get it all F2P, but it is extremely tedious and you need to be very patient.

In the Essence of Heaven shop, you can get 10 Taiyi stones every month from pulling in the Celestial Echo. This means that in a year, you should have enough stones to at least unlock all nodes on 1 reforging weapon.

After that, it gets exponentially slower because even if you are lucky and roll some nodes that you want, each node that you lock will make re-rolling more expensive, which will slow you down significantly.

I had no issues triggering it so I will just share what I did; just use HQ martial skill into special skill. You need to make sure you hit the enemy at least 5 times.

Hello! I was able to change season from the map yesterday (map -> touchpad -> up) but now i am not able to! Ive always had the seasons on idle, havent changed any settings (thing this setting is only avaible if you go into the season menu in the map). If I'm understanding your question correctly, having played with Strategic and moved over to Heng Dao, the parry windows are the same, it might be a mental thing.

I suspect visually, it is different because heng dao doesn't move your character after each parry. With the new bosses, the sound of the parrying is also different. That may change the way you instinctively react to it.

Mechanically, they should be identical.

Yeah, as Proto explained, the position of your character can sometimes hinder the way you respond to parries. While it is minimal, I can vaguely recall some instances where it did changed my muscle memory a little.

Worth it though, Heng Dao respects the rhythm of the fight and punishes extremely aggressive bosses. I love it.
