You'll be able to unlock all the martial arts later on via joining a sect or without by doing skill thefts

You're not impacted that much in terms of long-term ability because you can convert innerways, switch gear and reset martial arts and mystic skills if needed.
The game's PvE system is divided into tier of character level, current endgame is T86 (character level between 86 and 90 included)

this game is easier, but the most frustrating part about this game is that you cannot have max ashes of war/skills/abilities without the time gate, the innerways (ashes of war) in this game is build defining like for example elden ring. at least in souls like you can use all weapons with max ashes without time gate, just pure farming

New players who start right now also exist, and they are fine still. So if there is a reason you want to start on new character - it is not the end of the world also

The difficulty sometimes is the mechanics ie. you're not winning because you're doing it wrong. It's common sense sometimes. For instance there's a quest where you have to speak to a ghost right, and then you turn up in the afternoon and the NPC is not there and you're like.. this quest is bugged.. but it's not if you just think a bit. Ghosts appear at night, so if you turn up at night.. you will see it 🙂

Also there are quests where you have a boss guarded by troops. People rush in, get slaughtered and then are like.. oh this is difficult. But then if you draw one out with a bow.. then you can deal with him.. and then you can draw another one out. So in the end the boss is undefended and pretty easy actually.

Also if you don't like difficult battles you can use story mode.. and coop mode. Lots of people will heal you if you hurt yourself in the game.. and people help you defeat bosses also.

Resistance will keep raising up as we (you) progress into higher Breakthroughs.

As Resistances increase you need more precision/crit rate/affinity to reach the "graduation stats" per level bracket.

For the attribute question, the game doesn't support hybrid path builds much, so Bellstrike and Silkbind are two paths that don't combine well in PvE content.

However, if you're still 100% inclined towards playing a Hybrid build then choose the Arsenal for the path of your main weapon.

Depends if u can save ur char or not cause starting a new char means u will Loose out on oscillating jade and inner ways cause both are mostly obtained by wasting energy ( in case of oscillating jade u could potentialy get them from chest opening)

one day after the update though it had a cap where it can only work twice a day against bosses

since it was only used twice a day, it softlocked the players from farming that boss again since they're on a day off and goosy slide can only be used to defeat them

jade's embrace gives that short 5 second 15% defence buff assuming you are moving that 6m to use rope, or when you go out to throw your umbrella 5-6 times (likely better to have it trigger on when going in), so it's a defensive option. Personally don't see great value in such a short defensive buff combined with the fact you are very mobile to begin with, and DPS is king in PvE

In PvP, the bonus for dodging is great in nearly any setting from Calmwaters
