Never stop your progression. Focus your time in grabbing oddities, talents and chests. You still need fodder gear for most brackets since you have to fill your arsenal.

I always suggest Joint Battle because you can get Ebon Stones for your mystics and fodder gear to tune, you don't care much about stats yet, only about the mastery they give, they'll become arsenal fodder.

Jade fishes will be very tight first few weeks but once you catch up you should catch up very fast.

If you just want solo and love long range and healing i would recommend going for fanbrella dps for multi, umbrella dps + fan heal for solo
As going hybrid risk you in multi situation but it's useful in solo in case u ran out of potions, might be useless in some boss fight tho
But going fanbrella dps will be easier for you to switch around between healing and dps since they share a weapon and the same attribute

There actually are couple interactive map sites out there but personally I think that's the easiest way to get burnt out if you get obsessed with it too early. Just play the game and when you've got 2000 hours in the game maybe check it out

While it does not exactly tell you which specific things you are missing on the map, you can access the Journal --> Sentient Beings to see what you have yet to discover in each region.

Granted, currently there are no boundary lines distinguishing each region but it at least gives you an idea of what you're missing.

It is unfortunate but unavoidable, sadly.

I think being able to read and understand mandarin is one thing but also knowing chinese history and mythology is another huge hurdle in order to truly appreciate certain design choices and stroytelling nuances.

There are many ways to cheese bounty hunters, yes. There are a lot of complaints about it.

Like what Zade mentioned, if you enter 'no-combat' zones like the spring bath, the bounty hunter just cannot attack you at all.

Yeah, well, a lot of people don't like being harassed while playing solo, and I get that, but it makes the system very difficult to workaround.

Also, at later parts of the game coin becomes a real bottleneck. So needing to spend is always a big no-no especially if it's unnecessary or can be avoided.

Just bringing one martial art path from 1 to 90 will set you back by at least 1 million.
