Hi, maybe i'm the worst player ever, but i need to ask this: are boss fight really all about parrying no matter the weapon? I find myself only doing this every boss fight with every weapon, and it doesn't feel right. I mean, why we have so many weapons if the play is always the same? Can someone help me understand what i'm not getting?

I mean: when playing Dark souls, i had to approach combat in a different way depending on my weapon of choice. Of course dodge was king, but my magic user played differently from my sword and board, or the 2h sword bearer. In this game i don't feel this

As I said, it's fine. Common enemies might become harder, sure. But the only significant hurdle is the bosses, and you can fight them later.

Also don't repeat my mistakes. After breakthrough to your next level, don't recycle the previous gears. You'll need it for the arsenal

the only thing ur really doing when u do that is getting minmaxxing for numbers

sure high mastery makes u look cool and stuff

but the sub stats r what matters when it comes to make a build

when it goes into arsenal, u lose those sub stats and just get a mastery number boost

ur better off saving ur mats for newer gear coming out and trying to get the best gear possible for ur current lvl

for reference, all of my arsenal stuff is over the cap, but my mastery is like 25.7k or something. whenever i go into sword trials/hero realms, i still do pretty good dmg. and this is without me going back and trying to minmax my arsenal

mastery is just a combination of all stuff u got leveled and equipped in your develop tab

so like you mystic skills count towards mastery, your inner ways, etc

as u upgrade them and get better stats, u gain mastery

Most bosses just afk in the center of the map while everyone just dog piles it. Some bosses have certain mechanics that make you chase them though. I’m speaking in terms of sword trial at least
