I would say if you are able to have your general be in the center of the 9x9, you are already at an advantage because the opposing general can only move 3 spaces and be safe.

Unless they have a gaurd to block your general

But it seems like ideal placement as long as you remember if you block your generals view, then the opposing general can move freely.

Okay, so what I think you need to do is get the opposing general to move either L/R, move your elephant, then keep opposing general on back row, and block the upcoming advance with your knight after the 2 opposing gaurds are dead. 😄

Honestly this one was hard lol @cobalt geyser nah it's because the AI could only move the middle guard (loses because my general sees the enemy general) or the enemy general to right (loses because my horse eats him)

Had to force the enemy to rearrange the guards to be able to win, I usually withdraw on this ones lol

Guards can only move diagonally, so the left-top one couldn't move

The only ones which could move was the middle blue circle and the enemy general

Nah, it's a specific reward. You know how in the boss trails they have a list of things you have to do? Well if you do 10 of them you get a chest.

If you get that chest for 10 different bosses you get a cosmetic sword to wear on your back.

Think of breakthrough like you're bringing the enemies to your level, but you can earn rewards scaled to your level from everything.
