only way to dodge the system i know of is using "Worn" equipment.
You can go in with full tier 5 and use like 400-500 K Value
No clue how some players take that equip as well as a 600k weapon into the raid though

set it to a multiple of monitor refresh rate. Some monitors are wierd and have 144 hz. Playing 120 fps on 144 hz is going to feel wierd

and prioritize stability. Stable 60 fps > unstable 120 fps

Hi, I have a question regarding the armor penetration and damage system.

In a recent fight, I was using 7.62×51 M80 (Level 4 ammo) and hit an enemy who was wearing a DK8 Level 4 face shield. According to the damage report:

My ammo penetrated the armor
The final shot dealt 37 damage
The enemy’s head HP showed 1/40 remaining

From my understanding, a successful penetration to the head should be lethal in most cases. So I’m confused why the enemy survived the shot.

Could you please clarify:

How damage is calculated after penetration (especially for headshots)?
Does armor durability or damage reduction still apply even after penetration?
Is there any randomness or damage falloff involved?

While i don't know the formula for damage diminution after penatration ( maybe someone will explain it better ) there is a diminution relative to the effective range of you gun
For the M80 if you're using a G3 you will need to be very close to the target to get full benefit from it while with a M24 the same bullet will perform way better on longer distance

Devs raised the head HP from 35 to 40 some time ago because there was too much crying about oneshot, it leaded to this kind of thing

The firing power of the Mk14 is medium-high witch, from my understanding, mean that it suffer a bigger damage diminution and lower chance to penetrate compared to a gun that have straight "high" firing power ( like SVDS )

The enemy’s DK8 had only 36/36 durability before being hit, and after being penetrated by my M80, it dropped to 19/36. His face shield wasn’t even at full durability, since the maximum should be 40/40. Given that the face shield wasn’t at full durability, shouldn’t the damage reduction it provides also be lower than that of a fully repaired one?

I'm not sure about this, i think the durability just act as a " life-bar " for the item, once it get to 0 you don't have any benefit from it, but anything before that apply the " normal" reduction, but once again i could be TOTALLY wrong on this take, i thinks that there are some quality videos on this topic on youtube, made by ppl definitely more competent than i am if you want to dig into it

Probably in assets. The value at the top of the storage is in raw koen. Items dont contribute to that number. Sell item on market for koen and that number will go up
